Great Getaway

This house is spacious and well appointed. Great layout, beautiful lanai enclosed pool deck- all great for family being together indoors or out. Location was quiet and secluded, yet close to all the local draws. We had a great time.

Great location, great house

We stayed at the Tree House with my husband's family for a month and had a wonderful time. It is located a short bike ride to the village and restaurants. The neighborhood in which the house sits was beautiful, and we felt very safe walking the dog at night. The house was very clean, and we had everything we needed. We would defiantly stay again.

Magical Stay

Our family stayed at the Tree House for an extended period this fall. We had such a wonderful time at this house. It was extremely well-stocked, the owner was super responsive, and the house itself was very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet, lush, and beautiful, and very conveniently located. We made so many memories here and all of us were sad to go. We hope to come back and stay again in the future!

Peaceful oasis

The house is on a quiet street with easy access to the beach and the Village. The pool is incredible and extremely private. We absolutely loved it! As a family of 3, it worked well to have 2 bedrooms on the upper level. The rooms have an adjoining door which our 3-year old loved. The lower level was for guests who visited us allowing for more privacy. It does have one queen master suite. The other accommodations are a twin murphy bed in a den area and a queen sleeper soafer. I was extremely impressed with how many puzzles and games were in the house. Along with how well supplied the kitchen was. Service ware for 16 and a lot of spices were available. I'm sure that changes as people stay and bring things and leave them, but we had most everything we needed for our month long stay. There were plenty of towels and linens in the house, along with a washer/dryer on each level of the house.

Spacious house, but not up to expectations

The house was verily spacious, cost and had a lot of room to sit and enjoy. What we were lacking however, was an actual 4th bedroom. When we got there, we found that the downstairs area had a space with a sliding door with a fold up bed. This did not classify as a 4th bedroom and I would strongly suggest to change this in the advertisement. Next to that, we found that the house was not clean according to our standards. The kitchen cabinets were sticky, and the downstairs area is also in need of a thorough cleaning. We spent a good 2 hours on cleaning when we arrived. On a positive note, the host was very attentive and responded quickly to our questions. One last tip: there is a smoke & heat detector straight above the oven. When we were using the oven normally, it set of the alarm. It might be considered to move this out of the way to avoid unnecessary triggering of the alarm

Wonderful Stay!

'The Tree House' was a wonderful , fun place to stay with our family of 8. The neighborhood / location of the home is Very quiet and proves to be a nice, short, pleasant walk in the morning. Its a completely shaded neighborhood. The 6 of us which were adults had spacious, nicely furnished rooms and our two grandsons had a pull out couch in the lower living area of the home and a 'murphy' bed in a small office like room in the lower part of the home. There was a bedroom in the lower area also for the parents so it made the lower area like a separate 'apartment' for them that also included a small kitchenette area. The master bedroom with bathroom, for my husband and I was Very spacious and comfortable; the connecting bedroom with bathroom for my daughter and son-in-law was perfect for them. There weren't any shades on their windows though so the security/property lights that went off frequently woke them up from time to time. The upper living area and kitchen area was perfect for all of us with plenty of room to spread out. Provided in the kitchen were basic appliances , dishware, cookware and flatware. Having two refrigerators was perfect. TVs in every bedroom, a full cabinet of games for all ages, and plenty of books for 'readers'. The location/neighborhood was close enough to Siesta Village and to the Beach so taking a golf cart around the island was perfect. The overall comfort at this home was Great! Thank you!

Perfection!

We stayed for three weeks around Memorial Day weekend and do not have anything except praise for the house and owner. We were 4 adults and two young children. The house is perfectly set up for two couples or families with the upstairs and downstairs both having their own full kitchen and laundry. The house is very large, plenty of space and seating. The pool, hot tub and outdoor area, two separate outdoor dining or lunch options, one completely shaded and the other with the option for shade. The grill was clean and we used it regularly. Our girls loved the sun room, they kind of took that room as their play area. There were plenty of games, puzzles and movies for those rainy days. The area in which the house is located is quiet, peaceful and everyone we encountered while walking was friendly. We brought our dogs and the enjoyed walking the loop multiple times a day, as did both my children. There were bikes to use, some beach chairs, umbrellas and beach toys. The pool area also had pool toys and floaties. The location of the house to the beach is really convenient, at max a three minute drive and a five or so to the village with shopping and restaurants. Stephen was friendly and very helpful, answered any questions we had and came to the house to fix an issue with the hot tub within 15 minutes of us texting. I highly recommend the house and location and we’ve already decided to return next year!

We highly recommend the Tree House!

The owner went above and beyond to accommodate us. He was easy to reach and responded quickly if we needed anything. The house was wonderful. The two living areas worked great for our family group. The beds were very comfortable and the house was well equipped. The screened pool area was very private. The neighborhood is awesome, very quiet and peaceful. Our family likes to walk and it was a great place to safely do that. Stephen allowed us to bring our dog and the neighborhood was great for walking him also. There is also a park in walking distance. The house is conveniently located to the beach, shops, restaurants and stores. We spent a wonderful two weeks in November and hope to return some day!

Tranquility

We loved our stay at the tree house, The ambiance is lovely from the foliage to the lighting. We were sick when we got there and the hot tub was just the ticket. Plenty of room for guests and grandkids. The salt water pool was a daily delight. The owner was gracious and helpful to all our needs. It was quiet and peaceful and just what we needed. We miss it already.

What a wonderful home away!!

We stayed at the Tree House for 5 weeks this year and will have such wonderful memories with us always. The house was bright and cheerful, the pool impeccable and the neighbors and neighborhood very friendly and welcoming. Stephen is wonderful and maintains his place beautifully. The kitchen is really well equipped and we wanted for nothing. The unit downstairs was wonderful as our older kids had privacy and their own space! There is so much room so everyone can spread out when they needed to. Our family dog loved her walks and making friends with the humans and other dogs around. Thanks Stephen!! Come see us on AMI sometime!

Our Third Year at the Treehouse!

We first stayed here three years ago from January 1st until February 15th. We were immediately impressed with not only the property, but the owner as well. The home is not only spacious (it can sleep more guests than we ever care to invite) but is uniquely divided into suites allowing multiple couples their space and privacy. It is located only a few blocks from the beach, and a short bike ride or drive to the village. We have two small dogs, so the quiet, canopy covered street made us very comfortable walking them each day. Last year we stayed from January 1st until March 1st. Upon our arrival , I noticed the gas grill seemed to be on its last leg. I commented to the owner that it seemed as such and Later that afternoon he appeared with a brand new one. Stephen, the owner, has shown to us over the three years that he is wholly committed to the enjoyment of renters during their stay. This year, we arrived December 15th, and are booked through March 1st. Days after our arrival, we noticed one of the older AC units was not working. Stephen had it serviced two days later, which is no minor feat at Christmas. The house and pool area are comfortable and very conducive to not only entertaining, but also just hanging out. We have been able to get to know the permanent residents on the street. All are very nice and very accepting of renters, which is not always the case in many locations. Stephen continues to upgrade the property, which is already suitable and to our liking, but he understands that not all renters treat a rental like it is their own home and sometimes wear and tear can be excessive. He replaced the microwave and dishwasher this year, as well as resurfaced the upper deck, and repainted many areas. We have rented multiple homes over the years on VRBO as well as other sites. This is by far our favorite property, our home away from home if you will, and by great measure, the most responsive and likable owner. We highly recommend it!

Great Property

The Tree House was a great place to have our family vacation. With other family in town staying at another place, we had ample room to have them over for dinner and let the kids play in the fantastic pool. Any issues we had with the property were promptly addressed by Stephen, and he was a pleasure to work with. The house is large and having access to two washers and dryers allowed us to keep up on swimwear, beach towels, etc..... Great find on Siesta Key!

A Mixed Bag

This is a beautiful,.roomy and comfortable property that is exceptionally well-equipped, and a great outdoor area to enjoy. Close to the beach (not walking distance, but close), very private as well. We stayed for 2 weeks. There were major issues with the pool and air-conditioning. From the beginning of our stay, the pool was cloudy. We were told by Stephen's sister-in-law (who was the person who let us into the property) that the biggest complaint they received was that the pool was cloudy and/or green. Turns out that this is because there is no routine pool maintenance. By the beginning of the second week, the pool was VERY cloudy and a few days later turned BRIGHT green. I called Stephen to let him know and he didn't believe me until we sent him a photo of the pool. In his defense, he called a pool company to come out and check it out and they did the next day. Pool filter was filthy, basket on top of filter was broken and filled with hair--the only reason anything was being caught was because of the hair. Owner-rigged system for salt-water/chlorine conversion was encrusted and needed to be acid-washed. A lot of chlorine was added to the pool (we couldn't swim in it for a day) and by the time we were ready to leave, it was cleared up. Air conditioning went down on the main floor mid second week of our stay. There are 3 AC units in the house and the one that went out controlled the main floor and 2 bedrooms. Temperature on the main floor went up to high 80's and we had to crank up the other AC unit on the other end of the house for any relief and used floor fans for AC. My son-in-law tried to access the electric panel, but was unable to do so, as the door was locked and owner wouldn't allow access. We were told an AC person would be out first thing in the a.m., but didn't arrive until 2 p.m. (not owner's fault!) The compressor was shot, there were issues with the wiring that had to be fixed (electrician had to break the lock on the door to access), so we had no air on half the main floor (primarily 2 bedrooms) until we left on Saturday. We asked the owner for some compensation due to lack of AC for four nights, but he has not responded back to us. These issues have to and will be addressed and hopefully other tenants will not have the same issues. We did enjoy spending time together there as a family and without the pool/AC issues, we would have had an amazing stay at this property

Perfect Setting for our Family Reunion!

Great layout with plenty of room to spread out AND multiple places to gather as a group. We tried them all -- from the pool deck to the hot tub to the upper deck, sun room and kitchen. Very pretty and private setting but close to many activities. I booked this house on behalf of my family and everyone thought it was a brilliant choice.

A Siesta Key Shangri-La

As the first renter of the renovated Tree House, I feel obliged to share with prospective renters my highly positive assessment of the one-week experience. First, the owner is smart, responsive, honest, and easygoing. Second, in terms of location, the property is tucked away in a small, intimate neighborhood where the houses are surrounded by beautiful tropical trees and dense vegetation. This atmosphere provides a sense of privacy and proximity to nature that enhances your relaxed vacation experience, particularly when enjoying the beautiful backyard pool and hot tub. The incomparable Siesta Key Beach and the laid-back Siesta Key Village are just a few minutes away via car or bike. Finally, the house itself is quick spacious, very clean, and bright, with all the amenities you would expect -- and more. Would definitely come back to this tropical paradise!

The pool area is what we love most. It is so beautiful and so private and such a great place for family, and yet it is so close to everything. Especially the beach we love the most, Siesta Key.
