Wir hoffen, Sie genießen unser Haus mit 4 Etagen, um einen offenen, fließenden Hausplan zu erstellen. Entspannen Sie sich und genießen Sie den Strand mit Ihrer Familie und Freunden am Ocean Isle Beach.

Die gut ausgestattete Küche wurde gerade renoviert (März 2018) mit neuen Missionsschränken, einer Insel und Granitarbeitsplatten. Es gibt eine unter der Theke zweite Eismaschine, neue (2015) SS Mikrowelle, Toaster, Backofen, Mixer, Weingläser und alle Annehmlichkeiten für Ihre Familie und Freunde. Der neue große Küchentisch bietet Platz für 10 Personen und die Insel bietet Platz für weitere 3 Personen an den Hockern der Counterinseln.

Die Küche blickt auf den zweistöckigen großen Raum mit zwanzig Fuß großen Panoramafenstern, die nach Westen über das Achterdeck hinausgehen, und dem Kanalwasserweg.

Eine unserer Lieblingszeiten auf dem Deck ist das erste Mal am Morgen mit einer Tasse Kaffee und einem Buch, oder zum Abendessen mit Vorspeisen und einem Glas Wein - sprechen über Ihre Runde Golf, Angeln oder den entspannten Tag auf der weißer Sand des Strandes.

Das Great Rooom verfügt über einen 45-Zoll-Smart-High-Definition-Fernseher mit WLAN für Ihre Bequemlichkeit. DVD Stereo VHS sind alle da.

Bequemer Zugang zum Strand mit Duschen ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang entfernt - etwa 300 Meter. Darüber hinaus ist Auto-und Golfwagen Parkplätze verfügbar ist erwünscht oder erforderlich. (Reisende können einen Golfwagen auf der Insel mieten, falls gewünscht).

Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten für Läufer und Wanderer während der OIB mit Gehwegen und natürlichen Laufwegen mehrere Meilen lang am östlichen Ende des Landes gelegen. Von unserem Haus aus ist mein Lieblingslauf eine Linke auf der zweiten Straße, die dann nach Osten bis zum Ende der Insel führt, sich in Richtung der Küste dreht und zum Pavillon führt. Das sind 2, 2 Meilen. Dann bring es zurück ... Wenn Sie den 'Punkt zu Punkt Island Run' von unserer Auffahrt zum östlichen Ende führen, dann gehen Sie den ganzen Weg zum westlichen Ende und zurück zu unserem Haus, das ist eine 11 Meile Strecke.

Golf: Brunswick County hat mehr als 40 Plätze und dies ist bevor Sie in den Myrtle Beach Bereich kommen. Unsere Lieblinge sind The Thistle, Panthers Lauf, Lions Paw, Carolina National GC, Crow Creek, Farmstead, Cape Fear National, der Pearl West, Sandpiper.

Wenn Ihre Gruppe plant mehr als zwei Runden Golf zu spielen, empfehlen wir Ihnen den Myrtle Beach Pass (Google on line) zu kaufen, da Sie 50% Ermäßigung für Ihre Gruppe von 4 Golfern erhalten - es zahlt sich in der zweiten Runde aus!

Tennis: Der Ocean Isle Recreation Park befindet sich an der Georgetown Road, etwa 1,5 km nördlich der Brücke. Biegen Sie dort ab und fahren Sie 1 Meile für 8 Hartplätze mit Windschutz und Wasser. Netter Kinderspielplatz.

Great for families

This property is very well taken care of and set up nicely for families. We were pleasantly surprised by the high chair and stool. If you have young children consider bringing child gates for the multi-level stairs. Host is very responsive and nice to work with. Highly recommend!

Great home for family vacation!

This property is very comfortable and well stocked, a great home for a family vacation. It is a short walk to the beach as well as to Drift coffee shop, OIB creamery, the park, museum and putt putt. The kids had so much fun swimming in the canal. The sunset in the distance was beautiful from the deck.

Home away from home !!

This home was exactly what we were looking for. It was very well maintain and provided plenty of room for the 8 of us. It was only a short trip to the beach where we spent many hours. At the home, the dock on the canal allowed for several evenings of relaxation, fishing, and swimming. I would absolutley recommend anyone staying here. The check in/check out process was to easy to be real and the host was very responsive with the few minor questions we had. We would 100% consider staying here again !!!

Great Stay

Our family of 10 had a wonderful stay July 4th week. Preparation and check-in with the owner was seamless and well communicated. The house fit our needs perfectly. Parking was spacious for vehicles and golf cart (rented). Kids and adults loved being on the canal, utilizing our own kayaks and paddleboard, as well as swimming. Would recommend life jackets for swimming in canal - easy to tell when tide is appropriate for swimming. House was clean, well stocked and spacious. House was very quiet (no loud street noise and even room-to-room was quiet). We definitely plan to return. Beautiful home!

Great vacation rental

We rented this home for a week long family vacation with 7 adults, 1 teen, 1 kid and 1 baby. Everyone fit and the house worked well for our group! We loved the walkability of the location and being on the canal. The kitchen was well stocked and everything felt clean! The ONLY thing I would say a word of caution on would be all the stairs. I could kind of see them in photos but this was very difficult with an 11 month old baby as there was no way to block off the stairs and she’s in a crawling phase. I imagine this would be difficult for elders and kids who aren’t confident on stairs yet. Otherwise, we loved everything about this home and would recommend it!!

perfect canal home!

Our 4 grandchildren enjoyed swimming and fishing in the canal. It was perfect. A short walk to the beach or golf cart ride. The beach is great at OIB. Beautiful wide beach with plenty of room for everyone. The house has many levels that lets kids and adults have separate spaces. We loved and the kids loved the bunk room. It was there special room and the big bin of movies was well used. The kitchen and dinning space was big enough so we could all sit down together with enough china and flatware for everyone. Plenty of pots and pans. We had every thing we needed. The living area and game table (with lots of games) was very comfortable. The bedrooms were comfortable and having private baths for the adults is perfect. The bunk room and adjoining room share a "Jack & Jill" bath which works very well. The shower under the house is so good we showered the kids down there after a day on the beach! Now that is easy. We hope to be back next year.

Kudos for 9 Scotland

My 3 children, 4 grandsons and I thoroughly enjoyed our week in this comfortable home. The multi-levels made for more quiet. The bedroom size and configurations were all accommodating, along with the bathrooms. Walking to the beach access was manageable for my 5 y.o. grandson and for my 75 y.o. knees. We had fun fishing, kayaking and swimming from the dock. The only hard part of the trip was leaving. We strongly recommend 9 Scotland and the landlord.

The configuration of the house was a great fit for us.

Everything went smoothly on check in and check out. No issues with the house. All were comfortable and well rested so we could spend most of our time down at the beach. The Dock was a huge benefit. Got a really nice pontoon from FantaSea Boat rentals on Holden beach. They were much better than the vendors we tried to rent from in Ocean Isles - they actually picked up the phone and took the order!

Wonderful stay!

My family traveled to Ocean Isle for spring break. The house was exactly as pictured, bright/cheery and clean. Check in was easy, just given the code to access the front door and that's it...Loved all the decks on the house and the canal behind the house was a great view, got to see a few fish jump out of the water every now and then. The owners have everything there you would need, plenty of dishes/utensils/pots even though we had paper products so we wouldn't have to wash too many dishes. Hand soap and toilet paper were left which was great. We'd brought cleaning supplies but if needed the owners had left that as well. Short walk or drive and you're at the beach, which was fun, the kids enjoyed it.. I would recommend this house to anyone the only thing is, if someone in your group has limited mobility it might not be good because there are stairs to climb to access the house, but other than that you'll enjoy this house/area. Oh and we couldn't figure out how to work the water in the jack n jill bathroom (tub) or in the tub in the bathroom off the kitchen.. but we had two other working showers so we didn't trouble the owners since we figured it was our error....neighbors were friendly too...Our group really enjoyed this house/vacation!!!

Great house, just as advertised. Can definitely tell and feel that David and family have put a lot of love and care into their house. Really can’t beat the location on canal and it’s a very short walk to beach, can even walk to restaurants / shops if you don’t have a golf cart. Layout of house was perfect for us. 9 Scotland best of OIB

9 Scotland is great for mulit-generations families. The little kids and teens had the top floor and adults had all the other bedrooms. The different levels keeps noise down and gives each group space. The living area is big and has a game table! This was our second time there and we hope to come back many more times.

We came to Ocean Isle from Charlotte back in 1970 when there was a rotating bridge to get to the island. We love this place and all of it's great memories through the three generations that have enjoyed this special place at the beach.

If you have not spent time at Ocean Isle before, you will find this beach and island to be unique because there is little commercial business on the island. This creates the atmosphere of family homes, rest, and natural beauty. It is quiet and peaceful and the perfect place to just get away and relax. We do.
