Am Fuße von Taos Berg von der Valdez Rim Road, Stella Luna, unsere 1500 Quadratfuß, zwei Schlafzimmer, sitzt zwei Bad Haus in einer ruhigen Gasse. Es ist nur 15 Minuten von den Hängen des Taos Ski Valley, 15 Minuten von der Stadt Taos und Taos Plaza und 5 Minuten von dem charmanten Dorf Arroyo Seco. Außerordentliche Blick in alle Richtungen, die hohen Decken im gesamten, großen Fenstern und einem Grundriss, die sowohl offene Raum und Privatsphäre bietet zusammen kommen, um ein Haus zu erstellen, die Sie gnädig nach einem Tag Skifahren, Sightseeing oder Shopping begrüßt zurück. In der Tat, wenn Sie wie wir sind, könnten Sie nie Stella Luna überhaupt verlassen wollen!

Unser schönes Haus bietet eine geräumige, Master-Suite mit Kingsize-Bett, eigenem Büro / Kindergarten, TV / DVD, einem Jacuzzi Bad und einen begehbaren Kleiderschrank und Ankleideraum. Das zweite Schlafzimmer, bequem vom Master durch den gemeinsamen Lebensraum getrennt, kommt mit einem Doppelbett und Doppel-Futon, TV / DVD, und einem fantastischen Blick auf Taos Mtn. Während das Haus bequem Platz für vier Erwachsene schlafen können, kann es leicht zwei weitere auf dem Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer.

Ein gemütliches Feuer im Kamin Kiva wärmt Ihre Knochen, während Sie im komfortablen Wohnbereich speisen oder entspannen. Als Reisende, Köche und foodies uns stellt Stella Luna Ihnen eine gut ausgestattete Küche und ein Haus voll ausgestattet mit Möbeln, Kunst und Objekte aus nah und fern eingerichtet. Eine Auswahl an Filmen, Bücher und Spiele helfen Ihnen aus Ihrem Leben in der realen Welt zu entspannen. Um diese Gliederschmerzen lindern und unsere spektakulären Himmel New Mexico genießen, gibt es einen Whirlpool auf dem Achterdeck; aus dem Blick SW Portal Sie den Blick auf die Truchas, El Pedernal (ein roter Faden von Georgia O'Keeffe), Sonnenuntergänge zu erhalten, und die weidenden Kühen des Nachbarn.

Perfect sanctuary for a ski trip

We love the kiva fireplace and plentiful firewood, the backyard hot tub with the clear view of the stars, the mule deer that graze through the area in the early evening. Great location between the town of Taos and the ski valley. It's so amazing how quiet and still the setting is. Fresh fruit and bread in the kitchen on our arrival; the heated tile floor, breakfast at the kitchen table by the front window. Thanks for allowing us to enjoy the home!

A Perfect Stay

Stella Luna is a lovely casita and located in a perfect spot in between Taos and the Ski Valley. I was there for the month of February and could not have been happier or more pleased with the property. The casita is beautifully decorated and has everything one could need, including a kitchen with every think one can imagine. It is well designed for two couples or two friends as the layout separates the bedroom spaces from the central living area. Sanjay is very responsive if there are questions or issues. It was just a delight to stay there.

Great quiet getaway

We really enjoyed our 5 night stay. The location is perfect for hiking on nearby trails or just relaxing in the peace and quiet. We felt very welcome with flowers and wine on arrival and the overall warmth of the house.

Serene retreat with stunning mountain views.

Lovely and peaceful with amazing views of the surrounding mountains. Close enough to town to explore all the wonderful shops, galleries and dining (if you don't feel like cooking), but remote enough for a restful retreat. I enjoyed being able to explore the surrounding areas and have a 'base camp' to return to for a nice hot tub under the stars. Super friendly and responsive host. I highly recommend.

Great stay!

Lovely warm home located perfectly between Taos and TSV. The house is very cozy and well stocked with lots of goodies left for us like fruit, fresh bread, eggs, coffee, etc. Everything is of high quality.

Wonderful stay!

This is a lovely home, exactly as advertised - perhaps even better. My husband, two children, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the lovely hosts. Beds are very comfortable and kitchen well equipped. Location was great. Hot tub seemed new and was really nice. We’d definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home in lovely environs

Loved this home. It was extremely comfortable inside, and it had a variety of outside spaces to enjoy the spectacular mountain and sky views all around. The hot tub was very special. We could not have asked for better, and hope to return some day.

Beautiful, comfortable property

Stayed at Stella Luna for a week with my spouse and another couple. The house was gorgeous and comfortable. Sanjay & Bettina were gracious and helpful. The neighborhood is quiet and rural, but very close to Taos. We can't wait to go back!

Relaxing

We enjoyed our stay at Stella Luna and would definitely come back. It's a very peaceful, quiet setting. The views from the hot tub at night are just fantastic. The house is well stocked. Bettina made sure everything was ready including some fresh cut flowers on the dining table and fresh fruit. Great hosts.

Wonderful Home

We enjoyed Stella Luna and highly recommend it. We have been going to Taos for 10 years and have stayed in a different vacation rentals and this ranks high on the list. The home was laid out nicely for two couples as my wife and I were joined by another couple for part of our stay.

Thoughtful and responsive hosts

Quiet and located near trailheads, Arroyo Seco, and Taos. When my husband called to ask for the shade sails to be adjusted so that the anchor points wouldn't bang against the house, they had it fixed in 24 hours. Betttina met us and supplied local food supplies and wine to help us settle in. All around great property and management team.

Wonderful

A great place for two couples. Would also be fine for a family. There was a bowl of fruit, a loaf of bread, a bottle of wine, a bouquet of flowers, with a local salsa and eggs in the fridge. We were amazed! Convenient location and easy to get to Taos. We highly recommend this house.

Peaceful Retreat

What a wonderful place to get away from it all. Stella Luna is a beautiful, well appointed home in a peaceful and serene location. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay and the lovely flowers, swarms of hummingbirds, star filled skies and frogs croaking us to sleep were the cherry on top. Check in and check out we’re fast and easy. Appreciated the fresh fruit, and delicious blue corn tortilla chips and salsa to snack on. We not only felt like guest, but like we were wanted there. I would love to stay at Stella Luna again the next time we are in the Taos area. Thanks for a fabulous long weekend.

In 1979 as a new immigrant to the US , I came out to NM to attend St. John’s College in Santa Fe. Plato and Aristotle, Aeschylus and Shakespeare, Kant, Baudelaire, Einstein, and Dante brought me to NM. But it was this land itself, with its stark, bright light, dramatic landscape, rich culture and the many friendships I made here that kept me coming back.

After a 13-year career working for a number of SF Bay Area retail companies (The Nature Company/Discovery Channel Stores, The North Face, Illuminations, Restoration Hardware, etc.), in operations, human resources and real estate/construction, including managing several multi-store roll outs, I followed the woman I love to northern NM in 2002, to set down roots, invest in real estate and to make Taos home.

Here in Taos I have enjoyed becoming a part of a community that is diverse, creative and serious. There is nothing like involvement in the life and institutions of a community to build relationships and to make sense of how it all works. My own interests and those of my step children have been my guide: I became a part of the Taos Soccer Coalition, a couple of Acequias in the Taos Valley, the Friends of Anansi Charter School, the Board of the Taos Ski Team and Intermezzo of the Santa Fe Opera. In addition I served for six years on the Board of Visitors and Governors of St. John’s College which has campuses in both Santa Fe, NM and Annapolis, MD. Today I serve on the boards of the Taos Land Trust and of the Quail Roost Foundation. I believe in the long term value of real estate in northern NM.

Magnificent views--the bright and piercing morning light off the back of Taos Mountain greet each day; the last rays of sun set over the Rio Grande with El Pedernal as a back drop. All this is on a quiet dead-end lane in Arroyo Seco.
