Diese urigen, authentischen (in den 1940er Jahren erbauten) Key West 'Old Florida'-Cottages sind gemütlich und sehr sauber und wurden komplett renoviert. Sie verfügen über einen beheizten Salzwasserpool, einen Whirlpool und 2 Außenbars / -grills mit Sitzgelegenheiten auf dem umzäunten Hinterhofgelände ( 5000 sq. Ft.). Sie werden keine schreienden Kinder in dieser Anlage haben ... nur Ruhe und Frieden für ultimative Entspannung. Dieses winzige Häuschen bietet bequem Platz für 2 Erwachsene. Es gibt ein Queen-Schlafsofa für einen Übernachtungsgast. Sehr kleiner umzäunter Hinterhof mit jedem Häuschen. Perfekt für Fido. Romantische abgeschirmte Veranda. Sehr ruhige, hundefreundliche Nachbarschaft. Viele Parkplätze auf dem Gelände. Jedes Ferienhaus verfügt über 2 Fahrräder, 2 Liegestühle, Sonnenschirm, Strandbuggy. Der Strand, Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Wasseraktivitäten sind nur einen kurzen Spaziergang entfernt.

Great place

Judy has thought of everything- lovely furniture and decor; close enough to the beach but far enough from the crowds; all the dishes you could use; top quality towels; the pool; bikes and beach equipment are a plus. Our second time staying here, will stay again.

Wonderful week at the Sunshine Cottage

We had a wonderful week at Judy's Sunshine Cottage. We were able to bring our 2 pups as the cottage was very dog friendly. The pool/barbecue area was most relaxing and we were only a 10 minute walk to the beautiful Madeira beach. The cottage was beautifully appointed and very well equipped. We loved our stay!!

Sweet little cottage

Loved this cottage and the location. The place was spotless with everything I could possibly need. Judy is a delightful hostess and I enjoyed the snowbirds in the other cottages. I'll be back next year!

Cozy cottage and nice stay!

The cottage was comfortable and owner was responsive to a heating request and a rep was sent to repair. We had an unusual cold front that hit Florida over the holidays. Overall the experience was very nice, quiet neighborhood. Easy access to beach, restaurants and grocery stores.

Awesome Place to Stay!

We have stayed at several VrBos in recent years and this is definitely one of the nicest! Everything was clean and as pictured online. You could not ask for a better stocked kitchen and lots of useful things all throughout the comfy cottage. The location is perfect, close to the action but a little ways back from the main drag so you are not in the noise or traffic areas. Within easy walking distance to the beach and John’s Pass (shopping and restaurants.) Judy and Drake were quick to answer questions and handle any needs. We definitely hope to stay here again!

We absolutely loved Judy's cottage and property and will definitely return. The cottage was very comfortable, clean, and well stocked. The pool and outside areas are perfect for relaxing and enjoying the company of other travelers. Her commitment to customer service is greatly appreciated.

Wonderful little piece of paradise!

This was a great spot close to the beach and John’s Pass but yet so quiet and relaxing. Our cottage was very clean, bed was comfortable and the pool area so serene and inviting. Our first day there was a cool 62 degrees but the protection of the trees around the pool area made it very comfortable to enjoy being outside. It was also wonderful to have all the beach supplies and bikes for our use. Judy was very easy to communicate with and made sure everything was perfect for us. We will definitely stay again!

Sunshine Cottage, Madeira Beach

My wife & I thought it was perfect! Nice size for a couple, very clean, up to date and well maintained. Pool and hot tub were great to hangout in. The location was close to Johns Pass so you could walk over and leave the car parked. A very safe location, everyone we encountered was friendly. The other couples that were staying in the additional cottages were very nice. We talked with the owner a number of times, she was great.

Wonderful cottage a few blocks from the beach

If I could give this place more stars, I would. This is a perfect cottage. Judy has really thought of everything you would need for a beach vacation. The location is in the middle of a quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance to the beach and the waterway on the other side. Great for walking the dog around. The cottage is well equipped and very comfortable. There is a lovely pool on the property with a lounge area to relax. We will definitely be back to this gem!

Has it all

We stayed in the Mermaid Cottage early September. The owner Judy was a great host and easy to contact if needed. She has the cottages nicely theme decorated and equipped with everything needed. The bed was very comfortable. The salt water pool and hot tub were perfect when we were not at the beach with the great beach chairs and umbrella that are included with the cottage. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly with Gulf Boulevard close by with plenty to do and see. Highly recommend, except for when we want to return. We will be back.

My absolute favorite

Judy’s cottages are my favorite place to stay in Mad Beach. We’ve stayed in the past and this time had three of the cottages, and if possible it was even better. They are super clean and very updated. Everything is perfectly thought out so that you have exactly what you need. Being able to show up and only need to buy groceries. Is amazing. We were here over the fourth and Judy reached out to us with information about fireworks. She’s just proactive about making your visit great. We’ll try to stay here every time we come back!!

Home away from home

Judy and Drake met us when we arrived, they went out of there way to make us feel at home. This cottage is completely furnished with everything you might need and then some. It was one of the most relaxing vacations we have had in many years. The location was great with just a short walk to John's pass or the beach. The neighborhood was quiet, friendly and safe for walking. We enjoyed going into the hot tub and the pool without trying to fight the crowds like some places. We were able to entertain quest and everyone loved this place. The cottage was remodeled and furnished. I would highly recommend the place! Judy would stop by or call just to see if we needed anything.

COMFORTS OF HOME

Unlike prior visits in beachfront condos or apartments, the cottage let us feel like we were living there. Our parking spot was steps away from the front door. The screened porch and covered dining area provided great locations to relax outdoors in the shade. Inside, the cottage was meticulously clean and beautifully decorated. Everything we needed, but couldn't bring, was there. Local neighborhoods were fun to explore on the provided bicycles and it was a pleasure to unwind in the jacuzzi. Judy is a most considerate host and made us feel right at home. We can't wait to go back. Thanks again Judy. :)

Madeira Beach stay

Our check-in was terrible. We could not get into the rental and were stuck sitting under the porch roof for over 90 minutes in the dark in a rainstorm trying to contact someone. Seems they forgot we were coming and never programed the door lock. The pool/hot tub did not work, water temp was about 60 deg., unusable. There were clumps of dust and hair under the bed and bath sink was dirty when we arrived. We never did see or hear from Judy, the host. Once we got in and settled however, we did have a decent stay.

Loved this Tropical Paradise

Loved my stay here. Very comfortable and enjoyed the backyard pool and hot tub almost everyday. Very close to the beach as well. Very pet friendly so my dog also enjoyed our stay. We felt safe taking our walks in the neighborhood. Judy was a great host. I worried that the vacation would have to be cancelled due to Hurricane Ian but Judy was very flexible and accomodating. I ended up arriving a few days late and then extending my stay which worked out perfectly. Hope to return someday!

Awesome place to stay

The cottages are kept impeccably clean. Met the two neighbors and had a great time with them. Great location! Judy was very friendly and was there if you needed anything! Recommend this property to anyone . No kids allowed. Made our vacation stay very relaxing.

The cottage was very clean, neat and welcoming. The area was peaceful and inviting. Judy and her husband are very kind and caring people. They made sure we had all we needed and more. I was a licensed Occupational Therapist for 30 years until i luckily found this sweet venture. Some things are meant to be and this came into my life for a reason. So happy to be out of the healthcare nightmare and love meeting the travelers. Such a wonderful life now. I only do real estate and love it. I do not plan to retire even though i am 63 years young. Love meeting so many wonderful people from all over the world.

These little neglected cottages needed TLC. The buildings are very authentic but needed updating and major renovation to preserve. The compound was big enough to put a 5000 sq foot back yard with pool, etc.

These little cottages are so charming and quaint. The cottages were in very poor condition when i purchased this property. I worked with the City of Madeira Beach to make this compound a much better place in this little neighborhood. The cozy screened porches are a favorite. The compound has plenty of room for everyone and ample parking. Guests love being able to walk to John's Pass Village.
