"Dolphins ist auf den Felsen rund vierzig Fuß über eine kleine goldene, Halbmondstrand mit Fischerbooten am anderen Ende gebaut. Von meiner Galerie kann ich sehen, St. Martin ausgestreckt in den Südwesten, während im Süden liegt die unbewohnte Insel Tintamarre. Im Südosten sind die Hügel von St. Barths. An einem klaren Tag kann ich sehen, St. Estuatius und sogar St. Kitts. " Dieser Auszug stammt aus Fire Fire von Colonel Henry Howard Gouverneur von St. Kitts, Nevis und Anguilla, 1955- 1965, der Dolphins Villa als seine "Traumhaus" gebaut.
Dieses einzigartig Villa befindet sich am schönen Sandy Hill Bay, ein Strand so ruhig haben Sie das Gefühl, auf Ihrer eigenen einsamen Strand! Mit direktem Zugang von unseren eigenen Weg, nur wenige Schritte vom Haus entfernt.!Abstieg der Gehweg die Aussicht ist absolut atemberaubend auf das türkisblaue karibische Meer!
Es gibt über 2000 qm der Außenterrasse und Innenhof rund um das neu gebaute Schwimmbad mit Liegestühlen und Tischen für den Genuss entspannenden Mahlzeiten und Cocktails!Diese Villa ist wegen der Privatsphäre und tranquilty der eigenen Strand, der nur wenige Schritte entfernt ist wirklich einzigartig. Wir haben diese Villa, die im Freien mit Türen, die sich öffnen voll im Wohnzimmer und Esszimmer, die schöne karibische Brise genießen und unglaubliche Aussicht auf die Karibik Meer von überall her bringen !!!
Die Küche ist komplett mit einem hängenden Topf Rack, Glaswaren, Küchenutensilien, Spülmaschine Mittelinsel-Kochfeld und Wandschrank ausgestattet. Es gibt auch Grill auf der Terrasse zum Grillen.
Jedes der 4 Schlafzimmer haben ein eigenes Bad und alle neuen Möbel mit Flachbild-TV. Das Schlafzimmer verfügt über eine wunderbare Terrasse mit Blick auf das Meer und eine weitere Terrasse auf der Gartenseite.
Sollten Sie mit einer gewissen "Büroarbeit" in Ihrem Urlaub halten müssen wir verfügen über ein eigenes Büro mit Fax und Drucker und Wi-Fi. Wir haben auch Telefon-Service für abgehende und ankommende Anrufe aus den USA verwenden können
Es gibt viele Villen, die in Anguilla wählen, aber keiner die Schönheit dieser einzigartigen Lage und die Aussicht zu haben. Als einer der Einheimischen, die auf dieser Villa auf Tag angegeben, gearbeitet: "Dies ist der beste Ort, mit den besten Aussichten" !!

The location of this property is nice and private but we were disappointed with the upkeep and maintenance of this property. The bathrooms in two of the bathrooms had significant plumbing issues with one always emitting a seeer gad smell and the other needing a toilet plunger everytime you flushed it. Wonderful stay on near-private beach!
Our stay at Dolphins Villa was wonderful! We would love to return, and I hope we will! The best parts: The views are off the charts gorgeous! From the open-air living room and dining areas, you look over the private swimming pool and into the ocean, and St. Martin is there in the background as well, which makes the view at night prettier than just darkness. It is spectacular. The beach is near-private, and our daughters loved going down to swim in the waves. This home is the closest to the actual beach out of all of them in the area. Many homes in this residential area are perched higher up on the hill, and there is quite a walk to get down to the beach. With Dolphins Villa, it is a 1-minute walk down to the beach. We were calling to our daughters from the porch, and they could answer -- it's that close. The home is lovely with a well-appointed kitchen. It is nice to have a bathroom with each bedroom. The washer and dryer were also great to have in the home. And Shelly, the woman who takes care of the home, is a rare gem! She greeted us at the ferry and went out of her way to ensure that we were all taken care of. She is lovely! A few things to know if you stay here (and you should book this place before someone else does!): Apparently I am the first to mention this, but toilet paper is not stocked. Also, when we were there, the local grocery store, Best Buy, was not accepting credit cards. We had to prioritize... is bread more important than wine? :) I've been told that this is not normal, but it was our experience, so just avoid the problem and bring plenty of cash. US dollars are welcomed everywhere! You don't need to convert your money. The larger store, Proctors, did take CC's, fwiw. Another thing to note if you have kids is that only 1 bedroom has a door that goes into the main part of the house. The master bedroom is in a separate add-on to the main house, and the other two bedrooms only have outside entrances and are not "equal," as one is larger and looks onto the ocean, and the other has a small bed with no view. Just sort out who is where before you arrive! :) Our girls were a bit nervous about not having mom/dad "down the hall," but they quickly adjusted to the privacy. Anguilla tends to also be very safe from all I can tell. If you are looking for a "home" in Anguilla, as opposed to a resort experience, then this is it. Days here in this paradise are among the most relaxing I can remember! Thanks again!

Great relaxing family and friends place
Our family enjoyed our time here - the house is welcoming and with large common areas which make it easy to enjoy the company of family or friends. We were able to relax, read, walk on beach - while enjoying each other's company. The island shows significant recovery from the 2017 hurricane. As we like cooking together, the well equipped kitchen supported our activities very well. Shelly, who looks after the place, was always available to answer questions or fix things if necessary. Overall, great rest in a very comfortable environment and beautiful scenery.

Awesome home with amazing views
We had a fantastic week at Dolphin Villa . The accommodations were ideal for our family. The house is on a quiet beach and we felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. We were greeted by the housekeeper Shelly at the ferry. We rented a car at Andy's which was right at the ferry and then followed Shelly to the house. She was very helpful in showing us around the house and then showed us how to get to the grocery when we arrived. It is a very short drive to the grocery. We liked being able to open the bi-fold doors in the living area to the pool and outdoor dining. The pool was very clean and there was ample seating on the pool deck for the whole group. The kitchen is well stocked and there is a gas grill that we used on multiple occasions in the evening. The master bedroom is huge with a porch facing the ocean. The wifi worked great at the house and the televisions were easy to use. There is also a magic jack phone there is you need to make a call back to the states. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and air conditioning . The beds were comfortable and there is a washer/ dryer if you need it. Thanks Carol for a wonderful week! Our kids are already asking when we can come back.

Loved the Dolphins!
This villa has everything! Great views, pool, easy access to a nearly private beach, open airy living area, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and a nearby grocery story. There is wonderful outdoor space with lots of comfortable seating. We loved our time at the villa as well as visits to other beaches and several of the terrific restaurants. Wonderful time in Anquilla. We appreciated the responsiveness of Carol, one of the owners.

The Setting, the view, the comfort, a 2nd Home
Upon arriving on the Island we were met by the caretake Mr Wigely. He had already prepared travel to the villa for our large group, which after a long day of travel was more than welcome and thoughtful. He was certain to give a good tour along the way and point out the helpful places we would want to visit to help stock our kitchen, it's the little things. Arriving at the Villa was breath taking, the house is gorgeous, it's open, it's welcoming, it's well laid out, and it's just fun. The Owner and Managers gave above excellent service, especially when a minor problem beyond anyone's control arose. They had it fixed virtually immediately, and well beyond my expectations. As said we were a large group and we all did a lot of research, the Dolphin exceeded what we had hoped for and I couldn't recommend it any more strongly to friends, family, and to anyone else who'll listen about my amazing vacation. There are many facebook groups that will give you the rundown on the place to go and see, and where to eat... join them. Be sure to go see Brett at Elvis' Beach Bar too. On a final note... tour the bays on the Gotcha too, and say hi to Rumple and Geno!

Great villa on a nice small beach
Prior to arriving we had to change our dates a couple of times due to the airlines changing their schedules post Irma and the owners were very understanding and accommodating. Upon arrival, we found the villa just as described and John was there to meet us and to show us around. This is our third trip to Anguilla and the first time at this villa which we chose because of the proximity to the beach. Our group included children ages 11 through 15 and the close proximity to the beach allowed them to venture down on their own, yet remain in view from the villa. While the beach will never be on a list of the world's best beaches it is great for a morning stroll with coffee and was good for swimming. It claims to have some of the better snorkelling on the island which is still not that great. The villa was spacious and clean and the kitchen is probably the best stocked kitchen we have ever encountered. The Best Buy grocery store is less than 3 minutes away which was a bonus. Anguilla is not that big so restaurants and other beaches were never far away either. The villa had enough beach chairs that we just left some in the vehicle for use at other beaches. The best test of service is the response to unexpected situations. We had a small issue when a water pipe broke and went unnoticed long enough that the pump emptied the cistern so we were without water. We noticed at 9 am and within an hour the repair man was there and before the end of the day we had the leak repaired and the cistern refilled. The owners and their staff on the island responded quickly and professionally and we had only a minor inconvenience. (The property has two separate water systems so we were never completely without water)

A Place That Feels Like Our Home
Probably the best testimony is that this is our second trip to Dolphin Villa... a place we fell in love with two years ago. And of course, in love with Anguilla as well. Carol and Bob are the easiest of owners to deal with and if you have questions there is no delay in their response. John, the caretaker is a complete gentleman and will meet you on the island to make sure everything is in order for your stay. The house and location is a delight; the photographs barely conveys how well appointed and beautiful this home is. We came this year with three kids, ages 14, 3, and 1, and again, the house was perfect for managing the kids... from the pool outside the living room overlooking the bay, to the beach below. If you are visiting Anguilla, this home should seriously be on your list of consideration. Thank you Carol and Bob and I have a feeling we'll be back again!!! Mark

What a perfect escape
We just returned from our week long stay at Dolphin Villa and I am so happy to be able to write this review. We were two families travelling together totalling nine. This spot was terrific for our 5 teen boys ages 14-19. They swam in the ocean and the pool continuously. The snorkelled right below our villa and even had a man come and take them spearfishing from our beach. The villa was clean, airy and spacious. The outdoor space is amazing and we enjoyed EVERY MEAL eating outside on the deck taking in the incredible views of Saint Martins. The layout of the villa was great, giving each of us our own space and privacy, yet the main area was perfect for our party of 9 to hang out together. Carol was wonderful to work with and made sure arrangements were made to have John meet us at the airport to direct us to Dolphin Villa when we arrived. We will definitely return to Anguilla some day and when we do, it will without question be to Dolphin Villa.

Heaven
My family and I spent a week at Dolphin Villa in April and it was heaven. The house has an amazing view of the beach, ocean, St. Maarten and St. Bart's. The beach is very quiet - perfect for early morning walks and swims. It also is a great place to snorkel. The house is very spacious, with a huge deck and lovely pool. There are two outdoor dining areas. The large glass doors open up so that the house is very airy. The master suite is huge and private, with its own deck. Two other bedrooms are large and face the water, with the third bedroom smaller and without an ocean view. The kitchen is fully equipped. This is a great place to relax and enjoy Anguilla.

Perfect Anguilla
We first came to Anguilla in the mid eighties and stayed in a small villa on this beach. We have returned to Anguilla pretty much annually since then, never having found an island that we liked better. Dolphins Villa is the perfect match of modern conveniences (great kitchen, washer/dryer, AC when needed, fabulous pool) and what I would characterize as old time Anguilla ( informality, quiet, indoor-outdoor rooms easy beach access, local people around, memorable views) When traveling with family (we were 4 adults and 2 children) this villa provides a very good value over staying in a small hotel/villa. We thought we had found our spot, returning each year to rooms at Shoal Bay Villas but now I'm not so sure having spent this last week in Dolphins. One note for families with young children: our ten year old granddaughter loved having her own room with TV and bathroom but hers was one of three bedrooms that are entered from an outdoor covered walkway. At night, she preferred sleeping on the living room couch outside her parents room which is part of the main house. Which was fine. Dolphins Villa was easy to love and hard to leave.

Most amazing family vacation!
We stayed here in July with our family (kids ages 3-16) and can't wait to come back. Rarely does a property end up being as good it looks online. This was the rare property that actually exceeded expectations. Our kids spent hours in the pool and, when they needed a break from the pool, they walked down to the beach to play. The accommodations were great for our family and the location right on the beach was perfect. The snorkeling in the bay was even good. We are counting down the days until we can return. Our only regret was that we didn't stay there longer.

We'll be back!

Wonderful Villa with direct access to a lovely and private beach!
My wife and I spent a month at Dolphin Villa and enjoyed every moment. We were joined by our daughter and her family with her 2 year old, 6 year old son who was initially cautious about the water in the pool, but by the end of their stay was diving down in the deep end bringing up shells from the bottom! Their oldest daughter perfected her snorkeling skills on Sandy Hill Beach right in front of the villa. This home dates back some 50+ years and was built on one of the finest small and private beaches on Anquilla. There are not many villas with their own direct access to a sand beach, and Sandy Hill Beach is PERFECT! Views of several islands to the south. Fantastic sunrises and sunsets. The villa has had many recent updates and additions. Open & airy, new modern kitchen, terrific covered porches and decks. Lovely breezes. We have been searching the Caribbean since 1976 seeking out the culture and beaches we liked the best. We settled on Anquilla in 1996 and have visited the island for stays as short as two weeks and as long as 3 months. We are not hotel types, love to cook our own food, and having a wonderful and fairly private beach close by (within walking distance) has always been out top priorities. Several of our previous accommodations have fallen by the wayside with the onset of large hotels. When we learned the Dolphin Villa was available for lease, we couldn't wait. We were thrilled and completely in love with the villa and its location. Our single caution to folks would be to recognize there are several flights of steps, all well protected with handrails, and none with excessive riser heights. We were also quite impressed with John, the property manager as well as the owner and their willingness to make things right.

We Left our Heart at Dolphin Villa!!
My wife and I had a time of our life at the Dolphin Villa. The weather, the views, the Pool, and the home is beautiful, are all 5 stars. We love to cook and the "chefs" kitchen is a dream. As all the reviews say, the views are fantastic, the weather was perfect/ to get up and take dip in the infinity pool and relax before breakfast was so fun. We felt as if we where on our own private island,and cant wait to return for another Memory Banker.

Dolphins Villa and blue waters... who would want more?
What a lovely villa for my wife and I, our 12 yr. old and infant. It is simply a gorgeous place with all the amenities a family would need. Delightful furnishings, a well-appointed kitchen, plenty of space, laundry and then, there's the view of blue waters, fishermen heading out to sea, sea birds diving, and because you are perched up high above the sea we even caught glimpses of large stingray moving through the blue waters. Lounging with a rum drink while the boys played in the pool, how much nicer does it get? With Dolphins Villa as our base it was easy driving each morning to Le Bon Pain for fresh chocolate croissants or to any of the other gorgeous beaches around the island. We loved it!

it is a place to come back to every year. In one word - Outstanding!
I went to this resort with 7 adults and 4 children (ages 1-3) to celebrate our family reunion and expected a great vacation. We left after one week with no words to express our gratitude and appreciation for the amenities, spectacular views, service from the property manager, and communications from the owner. The pool, laundry inside the villa, and the gourmet kitchen assisted us in making our stay easy. The comfortable rooms and outdoor space impressed every one in our party. This is a great spot to go with family and friends. I hope to return next year and I will recommend the place to all of my friends. Thanks!

Dolphins Villa, a very special place on a very special island
Our multi-generation family spent a wonderful week at Dolphins Villa. My daughter has already posted one review. My review will be short. The complete experience was so positive we are hoping to be able to make a significantly longer stay next year. Highly recommended, especially if you value a chefs kitchen, a very quiet location, and a house that is so very easy to live in. Not forget that the "office" makes it possible to get a bit of work done too.

A perfect mix of luxury and rustic Caribbean style!
Had an amazing first time in Anguilla on our long awaited honeymoon. Being a professional photographer and my wife a model, this villa was a veritable playground for us. Inside and out. We found it hard to leave just to see the rest of the island. Literally steps from a quiet and virtually private beach. Loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves hitting the rocks below. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. Highly recommended!

Lovely Holiday
An annual trip found us at Dolphin Villa in Anguilla this year. Our group has traveled together to various warm weather destinations for 10 years and we really loved the breezy indoor/outdoor living with an exquisite view of the Caribbean. The outdoor areas have several options for dining and relaxing and, while at the house, we spent most of our time on the deck and in the pool. It was wonderful to have the beach almost all to ourselves. The house is spacious and comfortable with plenty of privacy. We also really appreciated the fully appointed kitchen. Would recommend to couples and to families, as well.

Stunning Home on Wild and Scenic Beach - A Perfect Vacation
We went to celebrate my father's Big Birthday: mom, dad, three sisters, and two grandchildren, and we stepped into a week of beauty, comfort and happiness at Villa Dolphin. The house is wonderful for adults and children alike with its indoor/outdoor orientation, pool, beach, and very nicely equipped kitchen. A lovely breeze flows through the spaces due to wall-sized folding doors and ceiling fans and makes AC and mosquitos a non-issue. The views southwest over the mountains of St Maarten are particularly scenic. The beach is a gorgeous windswept landscape.Great for stronger swimmers and body surfers. Walking it a few times makes for a nice leg stretch or jog, too. The sea is a little rough for young swimmers, but they can certainly play in the shallow portions, and the incredibly scenic Shoal Bay, with very calm waters, is a quick 5-10 minute drive away. We spent time at both beaches every day, and it was no hassle. Good to note too: any little problems that arrive (hot water went off once), the fabulous manager John will take care of quickly.

5 adults for a fantastic holiday at Villa Dolphin, we must congratulate you because the house is beautiful, well equipped, very functional and in a stunning location !! the view of this small but nice and quiet bay is exceptional, in addition to St. Martin and Tintamarre, you can admire St. Barth and St. Kitts and Nevis, amazing! The house really taking care of all the details, the comfortable rooms, each with its own bathroom, the kitchen very well equipped and positioned so great to be able to serve both internally and externally breakfasts, lunches and dinners! Then absolutely exceptional outdoor space is the porch that beside the pool. Thanks again for us [even if we've done personally], Mr. John, who was very helpful and attentive to our every request, although to be honest, we had very little to ask! Shame we could not stay a few more days !! If some friends decide to make a vacation in Anguilla, definitely advise to stay at the Dolphin Villa, then it is possible that maybe we will return us to an 'other holiday !! Best family vacation we've had
Dolphin Villa is, hands down, the best home my family and I have ever stayed in. It's like a dream: located on its own private beach, with a breathtaking view of the sea and the sky—killer sunsets—that you can take in from the spacious outdoor living space, complete with private pool. The house is thoughtfully decorated and appointed with everything you could need, from colorful beach towels to a thoroughly stocked gourmet kitchen for eating in or barbecuing. We got fresh fish and lobsters from the docks on the north coast, and groceries from the supermarket a few minutes west down the road, and we were all set. Anguilla has 33 beaches, each more beautiful than the next (we especially loved Rendezvous Bay and Cove Bay), and our party of 8 rented a van to explore them, but we were just as happy to return to this beautiful home at the end of a long day. We hope we're lucky enough to stay again soon—thank you, Carol!!

What Stunning Views !!!!Dolphiin House is the BEST!
8 of us stayed for 9 days of bliss, making it perfect as we all had private bath and bedrooms. The house is absolutely , stunning, and leaves nothing to want for. The kitchen had everything you would want to cook with, great appliances, thought I had died and gone to heaven when I saw it. THE ABSOLUTE BEST thing about Dolphin House was the pool/patio living area - we spent 90% of our time out there. The views from the house was so incredibly beautiful. And truly it was like being on a private beach. I may have seen 4 people the entire time I was there. The beds were incredibly comfortable, while I didn't sleep in all of them, I received great reviews from our guests. This is my 4th time to Anguilla, and this is by far the best place I've stayed at. Of course, Anguilla has such great restaurants , and then there is the DUNE - partying with Bankie Banks himself. Oh what fun we had. Love Anguilla and Love Dolphin House. I would highly recommend Dolphin House - Carol is great to work with and met all our needs!

Breathtaking Views!
Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home! What an absolute gem tucked away on the hillside overlooking Sandy Hill Bay. It is truly quiet, serene and peaceful with the most stunning views of the water below. The private beach is just literally steps away. The house is perfect. . . spacious and airy in the common areas but with very private bedrooms and baths. There was plenty of room for our group of six. The kitchen was a joy to use. Everything you could possibly need to cook with is there. The patio and pool area are the perfect spot to sit and enjoy a cocktail and still be able to take in all the scenery. We were looking for a place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and this was the place to be. We didn't want to leave! We will definitely be back to enjoy it again!
