Diese 470 Quadratmeter große Studio-Eigentumswohnung bietet Platz für vier Personen und ist fast gleich weit vom River Run Village und der Mountain House Base Area entfernt. We completely knew we were getting a studio apartment. We were going for the mountain and slopes. What we did not except is not to have a clean place. The couch had stains all over it, not a place we wanted to sit let along lay down. There were no pillow cases and one of the pillows had a red paint all over it. The fridge situation was odd and not expressed in the details. One full size fridge, bottom did not and the mini fridge would not keep cool.

Great Accommodations

The facilities were very nice, well kept, and easy to get to. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Negatives and they are minor. Wall clock - no battery so clock was only correct twice a day. Why have one? A/C was unplugged when we arrived and took us a few minutes to realize why we could not get the fan to turn on. Even with fan on auto which generally means on as needed it ran constantly. We also unplugged it when we left. All minor though.

Got what we paid for

I expected it to be small and minimalist, but it just felt kind of worn down and in need of some basic updates: Hard concrete floors with coarse carpeting, broken shutters, plugged drain, couch was uncomfortable and stained, etc. Communication and service were good - but I will look more closely before staying there again.

Close to River Run

Location and a helpful property management staff made this property a great value. You are an easy walk to river run and great eating options in the same building. The bed was super comfortable, a perfect place for two. Great place to stay when picking up some late season skiing.

Quick getaway

We thought it was a nice location since it was close to the lifts. We were a little bummed about the stains on the carpet and furniture; we weren’t able to see those in the pictures online. I’m sure the cleaning people do a great job, but seeing stains makes it feel unclean. The bed made some loud noises anytime we moved but it was pretty comfortable!

Everything was as described in listing. We had trouble with the shuttle one day, but that was not this listings issue. But don’t trust the shuttle always. Nothing fancy, but very comfortable!

Great location, small hotel room

The location was amazing and for 2 people the room was spacious! When we got there we were expecting a condo as that’s what the listing said but it was more of a hotel room. There was a small hot plate instead of a stove and it couldn’t be plugged it at the same time as anything else. The sink was small, barely the size of one pan, and the dishes were dirty when we got there. Having a covered parking spot was wonderful and overall our stay was great!

The furniture in the condo was very bad quality. The ikea tv stand was not sturdy for the large tv on top of book shelve. The bed was not comfortable. The pull out couch was ridiculous. Appeared to be salvaged furniture from the street side garbage day. The heating system had no good medium only to hot or cold. The main positive was just location and view out the window. Very nice coffee shop below.

Cannot beat the location!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit is directly across the hall from Haywood Café. A door from the hallway is left open leading to the café so no need to go out in the cold for some amazing breakfast. After your done and gear up, the walk to Riverun is very short. Mountain house requires a ride. The heated garage saved our electric rental from being a disaster! As far as the property, it had a faint smell of smoke when you walked in each time. It was as clean as your sister-in-law who is comfortable with you would probably leave it (not spotless but not gross). It is just a room with a small table, murphy bed and sofa. The sofa gets very cold by the window. There is no where to really put your clothes so you live out of a suitcase. It served its purpose for us and I honestly would stay here again for the location along.

Could be great, but it wasn’t.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 50% of the power outlets actually worked. Likely less than that. There was a large unplugged refrigerator in the room that didn’t serve a purpose, just taking up room. The clock on the wall didn’t work. The TV kept switching to a Disney channel, which I couldn’t change. TV remote didn’t have a battery cover. I paid a cleaning fee, but had to take out the garbage before I left? Didn’t get service or new towels in the 2 weeks while I was there. Front door was sometimes locked or unlocked, no real rhyme or reason. Overall, it looks like nobody really gave a **** about the place or my stay. Location is great, but way over priced for the lack of attention this place gets. Would only take a Maintence person 20mins tops to tighten that place up, but you didn’t.

Location is great

The location of the unit was great. The cleanliness was lacking. The sofa bed and chair had several stains on them which made the thought of sleeping on it uninviting. The front door did not have a bolt on the inside, although from the outside it appeared to have one. The description said there was a hot plate but there was not one. The checkout process asked to put items in the dishwasher but there was not one. The shower was great but the lighting in the bathroom was very dark.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect just to get up and ski if you don’t really want to stay in the room at all. Room was rundown with chipped paint, old carpeting and tile, stained furniture, and insufficient lighting. Check out hours were early at 10:00 and check-in late at 4:00, which conflicted with when the ski lifts opened and closed. Would have been better to have an extra hour on each end. However, extremely close to the lift and nice to have underground parking. If you just want somewhere to crash, this would be fine.

Not what was expected

Bloody towels, blood in sink, no kitchen like posted, outlets that did not work, TV difficult to figure out with a user Manuel that was empty, too last of a check-in; they offer option for early check in and late check- out however this was not accommodated.
