Location was great

Inside was clean and great for what we needed. Grounds and exterior were bad enough that I had to beg my wife to get out of the car. Ha! Maybe it's remnants of the hurricane, it needs some love.

Nice location tucked away in a quite neighborhood

We stayed for 3 nights with our two dogs. At the start of our stay we had a slight problem with the key code but it was quickly resolved by the owners who responded right away. The second level cottage was very clean and comfortable for our needs. Bedding was comfortable but extra pillows might be a nice addition. The morning sun comes thru the white curtains which lights up the bedroom early so if you’re a late sleeper you may consider this. We used the bikes in the shed for a morning bike ride and found them in good condition. Kayaks were available as well, however our length of stay didn’t work out. Overall, our stay was very nice and provided what we needed. Extra touches in the bathroom were appreciated as well. We would stay here again.

Bonita Springs is for us! First time in area. Loved it. Main streets crowded, where we stayed was quiet, upscale and slower pace. Just what we were looking for. Rode bikes and enjoyed the beach! Thanks

Great place! Love to stay there again.

This is a delightful spot, Quiet. Absolutely great hosts! I had car problems, called them and we worked it out. Clean!!! Great Wi-Fi. Got to do my laundry, and listen to owls at night even though it's a 5 minute drive for great pizza. Wish more VRBO listing were this good!

Awesome Winter get away

We rented this past February and it was a great place. It had everything we needed. Steve and Rachel were fantastic and got right back to us if we needed answers to questions. The apartment was comfortable and cozy and it came with bikes and kayaks. I would give it a 10 rating. The deck was fun to sit on at night and have a drink. The neighborhood was quiet and fun to ride the bikes around. A lot of people walking and biking. So close to the beaches and restaurants and shops. We will be back for sure and definitely tell friends about it.

Curtain problem

The problem was the window coverings...they were either not present or did not cover the windows properly. I don't care how high we are to other properties...in the dark I want the option of closer. We were given the option after a complaint for the owner to place coverings over the windows, but I also would like to have light in the house during the daytime. I like to look out. It felt uncomfortable and like I was in a fish bowl in the evening . The bedroom currents were fine.

Cozy and Comfortable

This property was perfect for my husband and I. We rode bikes, visited several near by beaches, and relaxed comfortably in the cottage. Clean, great neighborhood, and owners answered all my questions promptly. We plan to be back!!

Our escape to warmth and the sun ☀️

The veranda is the best room in the rental. It is fully equipped with a propane grill for home cooked meals. The bikes included with the rental are essential. It is a beautiful ride to Barefoot Beach County Preserve. Communication with Rachel and Steve is a breeze.

Perfect winter getaway!

We had amazing time at Steve and Rachel’s rental. They were very accommodating hosts, and the property was very clean and well taken care of! The best part of the rental was the bikes! My husband and I decided to skip getting a rental car and used the bikes to get around everywhere. Everything was a short bike ride away. Our vacation was perfect!

Well appointed with charm

We loved apartment - Steve and his wife thought of all the little things shampoo/conditioner, laundry soap, aloe for those long sunny days. Bed was comfy. We also enjoyed the bicycles and kayaks! What a treat. The closest beach is a mile and half, but there several beaches, all beautiful. Both Steve and Rachel were quick to respond (I mean a minute or so) to any questions. Lovely restaurants in the area. Worked great for us, and would stay again!

Beach Bungalow Living

If anyone is looking for a clean florida style home or vacation rental, this is it. We stayed here for May and June and loved it. Close to the beach, local restaurants, entertainment, and in a calm neighborhood. The owner Steve is also very nice and accomodating.

Cozy and quiet - perfect for 2

This cottage is the perfect vacation spot for a couple looking to avoid the high priced condos. The cottage is clean, located in a quiet residential neighborhood and close to everything. It has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Steve is a great host, very attentive and helpful with "local" recommendations - off the beaten track, away from the tourist crowd. Wonderful place at a reasonable price. We will definitely be staying here again.

Upstairs rental, quiet and close to beach

This rental is an upstairs floor of a house on a quiet street. Has a great outside deck with barbecue, with plenty of privacy. The owner provides 2 bike for cruising around (avoids parking fees at the beach, about 1.5 miles away) The unit has all necessary kitchen and bath items. Our only issue was with the internet, which was not broadband and not useful for streaming. Overall we had a great 2 week stay and would stay there again.

Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay at the Riverdale cottage. The house was clean and comfortable and as described in the listing. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly - a great place to walk and bike - and close to shopping and the beaches. Steve was readily accessible and helpful. Hope congrats are in order by now, Steve and Rachel!

Great location, quiet and clean unit!

Adorable and relaxing cottage vacation

Spent two weeks in Florida from Portland, Oregon, and the minute I got to the unit I felt relaxed and like I was on vacation. Super cute inside, a little like you are in a tree house. Cute furnishings, lots of Windows and sun, deck for morning and evening hang out. Spent a lot of my time walking in the neighborhood and just outside the neighborhood as well - minimal traffic, lots of other people out enjoying the area, close to convenience stores, restaurants, and the beach. Also took advantage of the shed full of kayaks and bikes. Was able to put the kayak in the Imperial River about 1/3 mile from the unit and enjoyed time on the river. Plenty of fresh linens and towels, and was great to have a washer/dryer. Comfy bed, AC, and for the times you want to chill inside there are tvs in both the living area and the bedroom with movie channels and On Demand. Steve is awesome, can tell you everything about the area, where to go, what to do, helpful hints for how to navigate during full season, and is available for calls and questions. He really cared that I had a great time and wasn't lacking for anything. Appreciate his excellent customer service and pleasant attitude/sense of humor. Would come back and stay here in a heartbeat, and will share this with all my friends.

Hi everyone. I'm Steve. Welcome to Florida. I was born in Allentown, PA and grew up in South Carolina. After a prolonged enrollment at Clemson University I moved to the sunshine state and have loved every second of it. I put away the finance degree and went self employed and have never looked back.

I purchased my first house while a student at Clemson. I have always liked Real Estate. I bought this unit a few years back when it was still in need of much work. It had one thing that I will never forget...character. There are a ton of cookie cutter homes or dime a dozen condos scattering Southwest Florida. Mine is the only place like this!

Location location location. This place is right where you want to be. A mile to the beach and a block to the river the water is never far away. Be it the vaulted ceilings and exposed wood beams that you never see anymore or the close proximity to everything you need you can't go wrong.
