Nice Summer Location

First I’d like say, Beautiful location and private pier gives this place a 5 ⭐️! Basic needs amenities. It’s a perfect location for summer not so much winter. We would definitely rent again!! only one casino (that we found) in area. Resorts are close but not much more to do. South shore is about 35-40 mins making it pretty stressful to drive while it’s snowing. We tried, it was ruff and scary. As for host, great communication prior to arriving and leaving, but not while we were there. I texted and called Lisa about having issues getting into the house using key pad and key pad not locking, no response. Luckily we figured it out. When we arrived, a guy “The ex-husband”came over and said he was there to see who was renting the house. It was a tad uncomfortable since we weren’t told we would be “watched”. Not a big issue, just weird. I didn’t like that For towels and paper products, blankets, you need to contact host for more. The house has big enough cabinets to supply house with enough for the amount of people renting the place. We were 12 with 12 bath towels for 4 nights and 5 days. So we HAD to wash. Last, the bed sheets in 2 bdr were stained, big yellowish spot and ink with yellow stain on another. Luckily we didn’t sleep in the sheets. I took my own sheets and blankets (my own personal preference) and placed on top of house blankets. Thank goodness I did! I only noticed because on last night I was fixing the bed. All bdr need cable! They currently do not.

Wonderful time on the most beautiful lake!

The property is perfectly appointed so that the dock gets full sun for most of the day. There are sandy coves and rocky walls that are perfect for finding crawdads. Funny enough, fishing for crawdads was the main attraction for our group! The house is very well laid out and comfortable. You aren't on top of eachother so if you need to duck into you room for a nice nap or rest you can do so without the noises of the whole house reaching you. The kitchen had everything we needed to makes snacks and dinners and was a lovely central gathering place. We had such a fantastic time and can't wait to come back very soon!

Great Location, Great House, Wonderful Host!

Our group of eight adults stayed for five days and had a wonderful time. From the beginning through our last day, the host, Lisa, was prompt in responding to our questions and very accommodating to our requests. Throughout the process, she responded to texts and messages within 24 hours. The house was plenty big enough for all 8 of us. The best aspect of the property was the lake access, and specifically, the dock. We spent every morning and every evening together there. As the house is very close to a fairly busy road, I was worried about road noise. This was not an issue at all. I never heard the road while in the house. There's a large back yard leading to the lake and dock, so we felt like we had our own isolated, quiet piece of paradise while on the dock or in the water. The house and host helped make our summer family vacation a fantastic experience.

We have stayed in many vacation rentals over the years. This house rates at the top. Location and views are wonderful. Beautiful dock on the lake. And the house is in great shape and incredibly stocked with everything u would want. Amenities were top notch

Well stocked cabin!

This was a very well stocked house and Lisa was such a great host. She was so responsive and helpful! Tip: house is older so walls are a bit thin. Noise travels. So ear plugs are helpful if you’re a light sleeper But regardless was a great stay!

Perfect holiday home

The house is big and spacious with 2 bedrooms on the first floor (queen and two single beds) and 1 bathroom + 4 more bedrooms (queen size) and 2 more bathrooms on the second floor. You have lake Tahoe view from from the kitchen and one of the bedrooms upstairs and a private pier access. The kitchen is incredible well stocked. We stayed during winter months and the central heating system does a great. Smooth and easy check-in and communication with property owner/manager. We would definitely return. Highly recommend.

Memorable Labor Day Weekend!

My family enjoyed the property tremendously. The pictures are accurate! The location is amazing and the amenities are all you could hope for on a property on the lake. My nieces and nephews ( ages 10-17) swam, used the floaties. My sister and I used the kayaks and paddle board. And the kitchen is great! One of the better appointed kitchens I’ve stayed in as far as VRBO. And we like to cook. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

The house was perfect for our group of 10. Plenty of space and the private dock / lake access was so nice! Lisa was very easy to coordinate check in / check out and quickly followed up when we had questions about our stay. Fun visit to Lake Tahoe

The kitchen was well stocked. We liked the Jack and Jill bathrooms upstairs. The rooms were spacious (except for the twin room on the first floor). It was also very helpful that there were beach chairs and an umbrella. The dock was fun to sit on and take in the beautiful view and watch the stars. Safeway is very close which was convenient. I also recommend stopping at Trader Joe’s in Reno since there are more food options and the food is less expensive. The house is close enough to moon dunes beach that you can easily walk over for a beach day. We explored emerald bay, south Tahoe, rented bikes and biked the new trail from incline village to sand harbor, hiked, and played golf and disc golf. There are many things to do and the house is well located.

4 night stay

The house and property were great. The house had all the amenities/supplies, even ones I didn’t think would be supplied. Good cooking utensils, a lot of extra water toys/vests/floats, a ton of towels, two dryers were clutch. The dock and water view were amazing, including the private beach area. The only thing that could be improved, and this is getting nit picky, is with a full house the trash builds up pretty quick. Not even sure if a second bear trash bin could be placed….. Other than that all thumbs up! No one in the group had any complaints.

Perfect location with everything you need!

We went with a couple families, all with children 5 and under. This house was plenty spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a long weekend away with young kids. There is a Safeway very close to the house which is nice! We really enjoyed the dock and spent a lot of time playing on the beach, kayaking on the lake, and enjoying the views. Beautiful place!

Great stay.!

Property was as advertised but roomier than expected. Couldn’t tell just how much space there was from the photos, we were pleasantly surprised. Sleep number beds were very comfy. Lots of towels. Kitchen was great, plenty of cookware and necessities, spices, etc. The knives were even sharp which is rare for a vacation rental. They even left us coffee and hot chocolate.

Wonderful home and owner

This home is exactly as listed. It is very well-maintained and clean. The location is right on Lake Tahoe and beautiful. Next to Safeway and restaurants and not too far from ski resorts. The home is stocked with everything you might need for your stay, especially in the kitchen. The owners have really thought of everything and perhaps most importantly, are extremely communicative and accomodating. We will definitely come back to this home next time we come back to Tahoe! Amazing house/location and great host!

Lisa was extremely accommodating and responsive. Our plans seemed to need altering due to the terrible smoke occurring around us, and she responded quickly and consistently. Wonderful Family Reunion

We had such a great time at Lisa's place! My mom/sisters/I + families reunited after COVID for a week in Lake Tahoe. We'd originally planned this trip in 2020 but ended up canceling due to the pandemic and were excited to make the trip in 2021. We had kids ranging from 1-13 + 8 adults. The location was great - it was on a busy street close to Kings Beach (.6 miles from Safeway) but you couldn't hear it in the main room or outside. We loved sunrise/evenings on the dock, once you walked past a few rocks there were long stretches of shallow water which was great for the kids to play in. The mornings were generally calmer and great for kayaking/paddleboarding/sand play/etc. In the afternoons my 9 year old niece and 11 year old daughter enjoyed playing in the waves and said "this is EPIC". We used the boat buoy which worked well - the nearby Marina let us do dropoffs/pickups on their dock so only the driver needed to paddle out. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was comfortable seating in the living room (though my niece remarked "this house is almost all bedrooms") but given the size of our party we typically ate at the picnic tables and enjoyed the "outdoor living room" vibe by the water. Location was good - great views and short drives north to hiking, east to the Tahoe shore trail, and west to float the Truckee River. We also enjoyed ice cream, mini golf, and a brewery in Kings Beach. Lisa touched based several times and ensured we had everything we needed. A wonderful trip!

Even better than the pictures!

This is a beautiful home on an amazing property. The lake views are even better than the pictures! Lisa and Dave are super responsive, and it's clear from their attention to detail that they want to make every guest feel welcome. The house has pretty much everything you need for your stay. We definitely recommend staying here!
