Diese gut eingerichtete, kürzlich renovierte Wohnung im ersten Stock befindet sich in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße im Herzen von Bar Harbor. Dies ist eine neue HomeAway-Unterkunft, die ab August 2018 verfügbar ist. Das Haus ist nur wenige Schritte vom Bar Island Path, dem Shore Path, Harborfront, Village Green, Restaurants, Geschäften, Lebensmittelgeschäft, Kino, Museum, Banken, Post, Drogerie und allen Annehmlichkeiten des Dorfes entfernt. Bar Harbor ist ein fußläufiges Ziel mit Verbindungswegen zum Acadia-Nationalpark und einem kostenlosen Island Explorer-Bus in der Nähe des Village Green.

Die geräumige Wohnung im ersten Stock verfügt über eine Eingangshalle, ein Schlafzimmer mit einem Queensize-Bett, ein komplettes Badezimmer mit Badewanne / Dusche, eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit Kräutern, Gewürzen, Kaffee und Tee sowie alle anderen Küchenutensilien und Haushaltsgeräte. Die Küche öffnet sich zu einem großen Ess- / Sitzbereich, einem Tisch für vier Personen und einem Sitzbereich, der in ein großes Bett umgewandelt werden kann. Aus der Küche / großen Raum ist eine Waschküche und ein separates Wohnzimmer mit einem großen Schnittsofa und Flachbildfernseher.

Das Eingangsdeck neben der Küche verfügt über einen Gasgrill und die Veranda mit Blick auf den Garten ist ein wunderbarer Ort, um Ihren Morgenkaffee zu schlürfen oder ein Glas Wein in der warmen Sonne des späten Nachmittags zu genießen.

Perfect Retreat

We rent vacation rentals many times throughout the year, and this home was absolutely the cleanest we have ever stayed in...like not a speck of dust anywhere! It was so nice to be able to walk to dinner every evening. The harbor is also an easy walking distance We recommend staying here to everyone!

INCREDIBLE Home Away From Home

First of all, the location was fantastic! Dead center in town but off on a small side street, we had our own parking space alloted only to us. We were equidistance between the downtown boat docks & the main shopping & restaurant areas.

Cute home in great location

We could easily walk to everything in Bar Harbor and were a short drive from Acadia National Park. We enjoyed kayaking & biking with Coastal Kayaking Tours and hiking on Cadillac Mountain. We had coffee and breakfast around the corner at Slice of Eden. The home had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. We were happy to have AC in the bedroom, although the window unit was a bit noisy turning on & off during the night. I would recommend this rental and would gladly stay there again!

Great location. Clean and well managed.

This is our second time at this property; we liked it so much that we came back. The location is great (it saves a lot of money not to have to pay the city on-street parking fees). The apartment was immaculately clean and well furnished. The owner stocked all kinds of things you may have forgotten. Communication with the owner was pleasant. It was a quiet, comfortable place. Plenty of space. We highly recommend!

Starting the summer off in Maine

My husband and I spent four days in Bar Harbor at this great place. The location was perfect. We simply walked a few blocks down into town. The unit was well equipped. We were well rested to start the day thanks to a comfortable bed. We were very thankful for the off the road parking too. The unit is one of several in the converted home so you may hear the footsteps of those upstairs, but again, this place has all the great features for any Bar Harbor rental. We would recommend and stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Undeniably Perfect

When I first viewed this property to potentially book our stay, I was skeptical when I saw there were hundreds of reviews and they were all 10/10. But all of the reviews were accurate. It is in the perfect location, which is quiet and out of the way. But it's close enough to downtown that you can walk to everything. In addition, the house was stocked with miscellaneous items (foil, salt and pepper, pasta, pasta sauce, first aid kit) so that you didn't have to go to the supermarket immediately upon arrival. My wife and I are definitely planning on coming back and staying here again.

Amazing anniversary

This house was way more than I expected! Everything was so cute! Many games offered and my husband beat me twice at scrabble! We were able to walk to almost everything we wanted to do! Amazing how close to Acadia national park, yet in the heart of bar harbor! I most definitely recommend this get away house to anyone visiting the area!! Thank you so much!

The property was very clean and had everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked and included some spices. The property is in walking distance to downtown Bar Harbor and you can walk to the grocery store. The bed was comfortable and the seating on the front porch was great for reading, knitting, and enjoying a drink of wine or ice tea. There was a nice selection of games.

Pristine, cute apartment with great access to Bar Harbor

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kim and Doug's place! This place was extremely comfortable and immaculate when we checked in, couldn't have asked for more. It's located in a quiet, residential neighborhood street, just off Cottage Street but still very convenient to walk downtown for shopping, restaurants and exploring. We had everything we needed here and really appreciated the washer/dryer for taking care of hiking clothes after a long day out in Acadia. Enjoyed the early mornings being able to walk around town with no crowds and enjoyed the proximity to many great restaurants so we could walk everywhere. Communication with owners was great and they provided a very comfortable, well-cared for place with thoughtful touches (extra extension cords, blankets (we didn't need them), full kitchen with utensils, etc., plenty of towels). Would stay here again for sure and no hesitation to recommend it - lovely apartment with attentive, gracious hosts. A nice find in Bar Harbor for sure!

Comfortable, Well-located First-Floor Apartment in Bar Harbor

We enjoyed our 2-week stay in this spacious one-bedroom apartment! Clean, well-outfitted, a short walk to everything Bar Harbor has to offer (ex: <1 block to grocery store) and a few minutes drive away from 4 ways to enter Acadia (important depending upon where one wants to go in the Park to avoid traffic). Having a second 'living room' was very handy - allowed for Zoom calls and working in privacy. We had 1 question upon arrival and Doug answered within minutes - question resolved! We would definitely stay there again!!!

Excellent place! Awesome location!

This property is amazing. Very nice furnishings and very clean. It had everything we could possibly need. At first I was a little worried about other renters being in the other portions of the house (as we usually rent an entire house or property), but this was no problem at all. We barely could even tell anyone else was on the property. The location was just amazing. Stayed all week and never paid for parking one time. Walked to every store, restaurant, bike rental we visited. Driving into the park was quick and easy too whether you entered by Kebo St onto the one-way section of the loop road or went in via Eagle Lake Rd onto the two-way section. Not sure when we'll get to go back, but when we do I will definitely check the availability of this rental first. Never met the owners, but there was really no need to. Everything was smooth and easy and they communicated everything I needed to know. Made some great memories. Would go back tomorrow if we could!

L’appartement est super, propreté , calme, très bien équipé , le lit est confortable . La localisation est parfaite , à moins de 5 mtes du bord de l’eau et à 2 mtes du centre-ville et de l’épicerie ( a pied) Accès rapide pour le parc Acadia. Doug répond rapidement à nos questions .

Perfect Bar Harbor location

The house was very clean and well stocked with all essentials. The owner was so nice and easy to chat with when needed. The best location in Bar Harbor with easy walking access to all downtown has to offer - restaurants and shops, the grocery store, Bar Island and the harbor. Very convenient to drive to Acadia trailheads. Absolutely can’t beat having the dedicated driveway spot as it seemed like it would be pretty difficult to find street parking. We hope to come back soon, what an amazing vacation!
