Wir heißen Sie herzlich willkommen, diese Blockhütte am Seeufer im nördlichen Becken des Moose Pond zu genießen. Moose Pond liegt in der Seenregion von Western Maine.

Unsere Hütte liegt nur wenige Schritte von einem Sandstrand am exklusiven Elchteich entfernt. Sie können 150ft der privaten Wasserfront genießen. Mit 17 Meilen Küste ist es perfekt für Wassersport aller Art. Das Angeln ist toll. Tatsächlich stammt der Staatsrekord von Maine für Large Mouth Bass von Moose Pond.

Es gibt tolle Möglichkeiten zum Wandern, Radfahren, Klettern (N. Conway) und für alle Arten von Outdoor-Aktivitäten, die Sie sich vorstellen können.

Dies ist auch ein schöner Herbstplatz für die Laub-, Apfelpflück- und Fryeburger Messezeit.

Bitte beachten Sie auch die Wintervermietung. Wir sind nur 1,5 Meilen entfernt vom Shawnee Peak / Pleasant Mt, einem großartigen Familien-Skiberg. Seit 1989 bietet Shawnee Peak das meiste Nachtskifahren in Maine. Mit 6 Liften, die 40 Loipen und zwei Geländeparks bedienen, bietet Shawnee Peak zweifellos das meiste Nachtskifahren im Osten.

Dieser Ort eignet sich auch hervorragend zum Motorschlittenfahren, Eisfischen, Schneeschuhwandern und für alle anderen Winteraktivitäten, die Sie sich vorstellen können.

We had a great time

We spend 5 days in the cabin and we enjoyed it a lot. Everything what was needed was there. We loved the different spots to sit and relax. The pier and the canoe was a lot of fun and we had a great BBQ every night. We are looking forward to coming back.

Great lake getaway

This was a great cabin for a weekend winter getaway. We could skate and ice-fish right out front, and the wood stove kept us warm and cozy.

Winter Mini-Vacation, Third Time!

This charming lakeside cabin is great for winter outdoor adventure-seekers and indoor comfort-seekers. Ski, snowshoe, ice fish, or skate locally. Relax on the winterized porch with a lap robe and your favorite warm beverage. Inside, get cozy with a book, next to the woodstove. Enjoy unplugged play on the generously-sized tabletop: build a puzzle, play cards or a board game, and still have room for a meal or snacks. Advice? Read the check in/out instructions and property descriptions carefully. You will carry in firewood, operate a wood stove, carry out recycling and trash, and perhaps, hike luggage and groceries down the sloping driveway. IT'S WORTH IT!

Very clean for a cabin in the woods, or for anywhere realy. Great location and view. Enjoyed the paddling although lake at that end too choked up with weeds for great fishing. Hostess was super helpful and easy to reach. Looks lile it would be fun place any time of year

Moose Pond

We had a wonderful time at Moose Pond. The location is spectacular; amazing views and on the quiet end of the pond. Would highly recommend this spot for a family with younger children as well, the waterfront is easily accessible and the water is shallow along the beach. The cabin was comfortable and rustic, it had everything one would need at camp. We would happily book this place again!

Wonderful lake house

My family (2 adults, 8 year old, 6 year old) stayed for a week in the summer. The place was clean and well equipped for a week of fun. The biggest complaint is that the part of the lake this house is on is pretty shallow so not adults jumping off the dock, but the kids could and had a ton of fun doing so. We would absolutely rent again!

Moose Pond Cabin

The cabin is always clean, easily accessible, offers good fishing and is nice and quiet. I have stayed three times and highly recommend it for anyone. You will not be disappointed!

Maine … The Way Life Should Be

Location was great, views picturesque, and setting private & peaceful (off season-early June). Cabin is rustic, but comfortable and well appointed. Wood stove was easy to operate and took morning chill away quickly. The property is ideally situated on Moose Pond with several outdoor areas to sit and enjoy the view whether you prefer sun or shade. Casting with a bobber from the dock in the morning and evening provided good results … large yellow perch and sunfish were plentiful and tasty! One item of note: there are no closets available to guests and only one bedroom had a dresser. As a retired couple we would definitely rent again without hesitation.

Cozy Maine Cabin with Amazing View

We had such a nice relaxing long weekend, even with some rainy weather. The view is spectacular. The cabin is just perfect with comfy bedding, wood fire smell, and has all the necessities. My husband caught 16 fish! And I went for a fun kayak ride exploring the islands. We love going into Bridgton for breakfast and some shopping, and hiking on the nearby trails when the weather is nice.

Perfect!

The cottage was exactly what we needed for a little Thanksgiving getaway. Everything in we needed was there, and it was far and away the cleanest place we’ve ever rented in over 20 years of VRBO use. Makes a huge difference. The lake views and Pleasant Mt greeted us daily and there was plenty of dry wood for a toasty fire. Definitely recommend.

Great cabin with an amazing view

This cabin was exactly what we needed to get away and unwind. The simplicity is perfect for taking in nature. We enjoyed listening to the birds singing, fish flipping out of the water, and chipmunks scurrying about. The Mountain View changed every morning. The cabin could use a bit more of a deep clean and be prepared to maintain a wood stove to stay nice and toasty!

This cabin was perfect for the wife and I. We stayed for a wedding in Sweden, ME and had a wonderful time in the woods and fishing off the dock into Moose Pond. Caught 2 Pickerls and 1 Large Mouth Bass!
