Excellent and exceptionally clean, centrally located apartment
I loved being in this apartment and will review the Pros and Cons.
PROS: Super clean, excellent size, high ceilings, beautifully finished and decorated in a modern style with adequate towels, and dishcloths, detergent, and in a great location. I was very close to the Old Town Square, near the ticket agency Via Musica, the Tyn Church, shops, restaurants and could walk to several theaters and galleries as well as the metro. The owner Libor speaks fluent English and is very communicative and easy to deal with - he even picked me up at the train station. His wife came at 430am to get the keys and drop me off at the airport as I had a 7am flight (for a fee). They are both very nice and very kind and I will definitely consider renting from them again (if they get a coffee maker!)
CONS: It is actually not a 2 bedroom as the second bed is in the living room - but the room are very big and I was alone so it did not make a difference to me. It was a bit cold around 2-5 am but I asked for an extra duvet and it was ok. There is a microwave but no coffee maker which is pretty standard in every apartment I rented in Europe - an inexpensive drip coffee maker would be useful. The street is generally quiet but there are a few bars in the area and there was a bit of distant shouting - with the windows closed it did not bother me though I wonder if in the summer if it would be noisy with windows open.
I recommend the hosts who are wonderful and the apartment very highly.
