Princeville's Sh'Zen ist ein luxuriöses Haus mit drei Schlafzimmern und drei Bädern auf einem sehr privaten Drittel eines Hektars üppiger tropischer Gärten und eines Pools. . Spektakuläre endlose Aussicht auf das Meer über den siebten Abschlag und das sechste Grün des weltberühmten und neu gestalteten Makai-Golfplatzes und nur wenige Schritte vom Wanderweg zum Queens Bath entfernt. Sh'Zen ist eine Symphonie der Natur und Sie werden einen Logenplatz für alles haben; Sonnenuntergänge am Meer, Sonnenaufgang in den Bergen, Wasserfälle, Regenbogen, Wale und Albatros im Winter und Riesenwellen, die in die Bucht von Punahele donnern. Den größten Teil des Jahres erwarten Sie leichte Trades, nächtliche Schauer und sonnige Tage.

Zu den Annehmlichkeiten zählen ein 40-Fuß-Sportbecken, ein Whirlpool, eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit Granitoberflächen und seidige Doug-Tannenböden. Das Haus hat drei Ebenen. Die Master Suite blickt auf den Mount Makena (King Kong Mtn.) Und das gesamte Bali Hai-Gebirge. und hat ein riesiges überdachtes Deck. Die Gartensuite mit Blick auf den Pool und den Garten verfügt über eine überdachte Veranda. Das Unterdeck ist die Kapitänskajüte mit einem doppelten Futon auf dem Stand und einem kompletten Badezimmer. Die Kabine ist klimatisiert und verfügt über einen schönen Blick auf das Meer, das Tal sowie einen Großbild-TV, ein Heimkino und einen DVD-Player. Es gibt ein Kabelmodem und einen WLAN-Router im gesamten Gebäude.
Besonderes Augenmerk wurde auf die Nachtbeleuchtung für eine ultra-tropische Stimmung gelegt.
Balinesische Gemälde und Steinschnitzereien, Brunnen und Statuen runden das Bild ab. Eine Mauer umgibt die Straßenseiten, an denen Umgebungsgeräusche zu hören sind, mit Ausnahme der Vögel und der Stille der Palmen. Der Garten umfasst einen Anthurium-Gehweg vom Tor zur Eingangstür und führt am Bali-Teich, dem Engelsbrunnen und dem Pool vorbei.
Nur wenige Schritte entfernt befindet sich der Pfad zu Queen's Bath und ein kurzer Spaziergang zum Fünf-Sterne-Hotel Princeville sowie drei Kilometer zum Einkaufszentrum Princeville mit einem großen Supermarkt. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten der fabelhaften Nordküste von Kauai wie Anini, das verträumte Hanalei, Lumahai, Tunnels und Ke'e Beaches sind nur wenige Minuten entfernt.

Beautiful home, but it is falling apart,

Beautiful home except it is falling apart. Huge crack in upper master deck that shows on ceiling of bottom floor, which ceiling is falling down. Dirty fridge & floors… windows dirty. Lots of empty cleaning containers left in every cupboard of house. Tile deck out front is disgusting from water dripping from above. Torn & ripped awning. Location is amazing as is the view, but the home isn’t being maintained in my opinion. The washer broke & we were charged 200$ ??? Bird poop on above ceiling, fan in master has black mold on it. I have stayed in this home 4 times, it’s sad to see it falling apart.

The house and grounds were beautiful as was the view and location. The pool was too cold to swim in, although we did try, but we were eaten alive by mosquitoes.

Our Home away from Home

This our second stay at Sh'Zen and most definitely will not be our last. My husband and I stayed in the home in 2014 when we we're married on the Garden Island and just returned from our 5 year Anniversary trip. Feeling spoiled and it was difficult getting back on the plane to return home after 17 magical days there! Waking up to a variety of birds singing in the morning, sipping coffee overlooking Puahele Bay and the Bali Hai Mountain range is breathtaking. Each and very sunrise and sunset was so unique. We absolutely love the privacy this home offers. The pool, garden area, fountain, statues and pond make for the most peaceful time when at home. Convenient hiking right out your front door, just a stones throw down to the Queen's Bath. The house has everything you need and the kitchen is very well appointed, with HIGH quality cookware. Absolutely everything we needed and more. PV Eats specialty market is new, unique and wine selection and cuisine is off the chart. Gaylord's is a top recommendation too and the Mai Tai's are the best :) Highly recommend the helicopter ride.... it was our 1st and it was amazing! As was the Catamaran trip. Ben... we can't thank you enough for sharing your beautiful home with us. And for the special things you did for us during our stay! Mel... the same goes for you! You went above and beyond to assure our stay was nothing short of amazing! You're the best! Until next time.... and it won't be 5 years! Mahalo & Aloha K & T

Good time ar a great place.

The house was beautiful and in a great location. Arrangements were easy to make and the home owner was pleasent and informative to visit with. The amenities in the home were just a added bonus to the wonder of Kauai. Would recommend this place for anyone wishing unique experience.

Fantastic Location in Princeville

This three story property right on the golf course is absolutely beautiful. You are near so many things yet when you do get into the property you feel like you are the only one there. The house is big and comfy with beautiful views. We didn't get a chance to use the pool as we were out pretty much all day but it was a nice feature to have. The house could use a bit of updating but everything works perfectly and is clean and well maintained. Communication with the property owner is excellent.

Spectacular accommodations!

This setting is beyond imagination in beauty. Perfect for two couples. The painter among us said he couldn't live long enough to paint all the gorgeous scenes. Every day, the light played in different ways. The lap pool was so relaxing and peaceful with the breezes wafting through. The garden is magical with beautiful statuary and fountains to be discovered. Birds singing at dawn were a wonderful wake up call. We walked to the point overlooking Queens Bath a few times. The kitchen is very well equipped and we enjoyed cooking in as well as dining out. Beach towels were provided as well as coolers. We brought our own snorkel gear and went to Anini Beach. Also did the Princeville Zipline and NaPali Catamaran. Highly reccomend both. Rainbows out the front lanai were plentiful as were gorgeous sunsets. This all made for a magical oasis of a vacation. Ben called day1 to ensure all was good. Melanie was available and responsive to any questions. We will miss this place and treasure the memories made here.

Absolutely wonderful stay!

The Sh'Zen home is a beautiful place to stay in Princeville. We stayed a little over a week and would definitely return to stay here again! The home is spacious and was already very well stocked with kitchen devices, pots and pans, and sundries. The views over the golf course and the ocean are stunning. Many mornings we awoke to rainbows just outside our bedroom window - it's like a painting! The property has a big garden and pool area too that is great to spend time enjoying. The neighborhood is quiet and includes nearby access to Queen's Bath on the coast - an easy walk right from the Sh'Zen House. We stayed in July, and there was an almost constant trade wind that blows thru the home, keeping it cool for most of the day. The owner and the local property manager were in close contact with us for the whole trip; overall excellent stay and excellent service.

Awesome!

We loved this house! First, it was extremely clean. Next the views were to die for. The pool is great; although, we didn’t really use it as it was chilly. We highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a beautiful backdrop to their vacation.

Secluded and beautiful views

We had a magical stay. The house had amazing views, lizards all over the place for our kids to catch, roosters and chickens to feed every morning, and so much privacy. In August it does get stuffy at times in the main house area and bedrooms due to no air conditioning. We used the fans inside and left to go out on adventures everyday, so the lack of air conditioning was not the biggest deal. This is a great price for location, size of house, and views. Perfect for children and families. We all had a blast and plan to come back here.

Best view in Princeville!

My husband and I rented this house over the holidays and it was just amazing! The view and house exceeded our expectations, the pictures are nice but the real thing is even better. The view from the living room seating area and the dining room table were incredible, we even saw some whales offshore. Every day there were beautiful sunrises, sunsets and rainbows. You can see Bali Hai, the golf course and the ocean from the house. The house is well appointed and clean, if we come back to Princeville we would definitely stay again. Both Ben and Melanie were accommodating and available by phone or email any time we tried to reach them. There were no problems with our rental and we had a great time. Highly recommended!

Exceptional rental

Thank you Ben for opening up your home to us. We had a great 10 days. We just loved the location. We spent a lot of time just looking at the view and enjoying the beaches around the area. Walked to the queens bath at low tide and even snorkeled in it. The manager Melanie was outstanding, was there for us when needed and even went over and beyond by sending my husbands wetsuit shorts in the mail. We hope to come back soon. Mike and Eileen P

Perfection!

We rented this amazing home to celebrate our daughter's wedding and it was absolutely perfect. We have some of the most beautiful pictures of her getting ready with the Pacific Ocean in the background as well as the golf course. Overall, we had a magnificent stay at Sh'Zen - words cannot convey how lovely, warm and welcoming this home is. Also, everything that we needed was provided and the home is so well organized. The owner was readily available as was the property manager. All necessary info was communicated to us prior to our arrival. We were able to entertain a few relatives with drinks on the lanai and in the garden around the pool. After my daughter's wedding, my husband and I simply relaxed every day at Sh'Zen - it was so hard to leave! Nothing on the island was better that watching the sun set from the lanai! And, it is truly beautiful - the online pictures do not do it justice - it's better in person! Loved our stay and we look forward to coming back to Shy'Zen!! Breathtaking!

This home, location, and views are stunning! Our 4th visit to Kauai. Sh'Zen had us saying Wow, from the moment we walked through the gate. The grounds are beautiful and private. The interior is spacious, clean and open. The kitchen had everything we needed. The master bedroom has views and a balcony that are simply gorgeous. How many places have an ocean view and golf view?! We enjoyed watching golfers reach the 7th green, which is in direct view from any of the back balconies of Sh'Zen. Watch the sun set from the balcony in the evenings. The outdoor shower was very handy to rinse off beach sand. We took the opportunity to use the pool a couple of times as well. Although beach gear is not supplied, previous renters had left several boogie boards. They were in excellent condition, so we made good use of them. The Captains cabin below, is accessed through a separate entrance. Wifi access is stronger here, than upstairs. There was plenty of soap, shampoo, lotions, clothes washing detergent, etc provided. Communication with the owner was very good. Highly recommend this property!!

Amazing View!

Absolutely beautiful home in the perfect spot! We spent a month and hated to leave. Gorgeous gardens, amazing view I'd the whales and Bali Hai sunsets. An absolute knock out! This was the sixth trip to Kauai and the best ever! We definitely will be back

Perfect Honeymoon House

My husband and I recently stayed here for our honeymoon. The photos do not do it justice..the house is GORGEOUS. We felt like we were walking into our very own private resort. We gasped when we walked through the gate the first time. The location is unbelievable. It's literally steps away from the entrance to the Queen's Bath trail. The master bedroom has 180 degree views of the ocean, mountains, and coast. The master bath has a very nice jacuzzi tub, and the huge shower was luxurious. It was very relaxing to swim and float around in the pool, surrounded by beautiful tropical flowers and plants. We had every amenity we needed available to us. The neighborhood is very nice, about a mile down the road from the famous St. Regis hotel. Nice walking paths for morning/evening strolls. Neighbors are all very friendly. Minutes away from the Princeville shopping center with the supermarket. We could not be happier with our stay here. Highly recommended.

A Glimpse of Paradise!

Upon entering the property, Sh'Zen, we couldn't believe how beautiful the grounds were with different gardens and statuary lining the covered pathway alongside the lap pool--so peaceful and private. Then, upon entering the beautiful home, the views from all of the windows really took our breath away! Bali Hai was just beyond the golf course and the beautiful blue Pacific ocean was just beyond to the right. The amenities in Sh'Zen were very comfortable and we enjoyed a few evenings of cooking at home instead of restaurant food. Many things to do and see on the Island and we would recommend staying at Sh'Zen without hesitation. All-in-all, a beautiful spot to feel refreshed and relaxed and we can't wait to return. This could be a romantic getaway for two or perfect for two couples to enjoy.

Breathtaking Beauty in Princeville

We stayed for a little over two weeks last October and they were two weeks of pure bliss. We are returning this October for 3 more weeks. This enchanting home is peaceful and serene. Nature surrounds you via birds and lush gardens full of foliage and floral displays. The ocean and Bali Hai haunt you with their beauty. We decided to cancel several cruises and simply holiday here for as long as this property is listed. Owner is attentive to emails and welcomes his guests with personal call to ensure you have what you need. You will not regret staying in this home. We wish we could live here!

A wonderful and romantic setting
