Dies ist ein charmantes Strandhaus in der schönen Water's Edge-Gemeinde in Folly Beach, SC, das einzigartig in historischer Charleston-Mode gestaltet ist. Nur ein paar Blocks vom Strand und einen Block von 'Downtown' Folly entfernt, bietet dieses charmante 3-Zimmer-Bad mit 1700 Quadratmetern herrliche Annehmlichkeiten und viele Upgrades, die Ihnen einen komfortablen und unvergesslichen Aufenthalt garantieren.

Dieses Haus (SLEEPS 6) verfügt über Holzböden in der gesamten Küche und im Wohnzimmer sowie Teppichboden in allen Zimmern und auf dem Flur. Die Küche ist komplett mit Kochutensilien ausgestattet und mit schönen Granit-Arbeitsplatten, individuellem Backslash und allen Ihren Bedürfnissen ausgestattet. Entspannen Sie sich und genießen Sie Ihre Lieblingsgetränke auf unserer Veranda, während Sie die Tierwelt beobachten, die häufig unseren Gezeitenstrom direkt vor der Tür besucht. Der private Balkon auf der obersten Etage der Master Suite bietet einen perfekten Blick auf den Fluss und wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge. Entspannen Sie sich am Gemeinschaftspool (geöffnet vom 1. Relaxing on Folly

While we had been to the SC coast several times, we had never visited Folly. We could not be happier. The house was excellent - very quiet and relaxing neighborhood. We enjoyed sitting on the community pier on the Folly River and watching the occasional dolphins surfacing. The location was great - center of the island and easily walkable to any restaurant or the beach, but secluded enough to enjoy the quiet. We rented a golf cart to be able to check out the island and other beach points. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The rental company was very responsive and respectful of our time. The only note, that others have commented on, is that there are 17 steps up from the street to the main level and another 17 steps to the upper floor with the master bedroom and guest bedroom. There is a guest bedroom on the main floor which would limit the need to go up extra stairs, but just some to keep in mind if mobility is an issue. But this is expected/anticipated with this style house and being on an island (and most of the houses being elevated). We would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay in Folly Beach

My wife and I came here for a relaxing getaway and to enjoy looking for shark teeth on the beach. Very comfortable King sized bed, very clean and tidy place, very spacious and would easily accommodate another couple or two. The couch was great thanks to the two little square cushioned ottomans to prop your feet up on. Just FYI, this townhome has 3 levels - the garage, the 2nd floor (with Kitchen, LR, bathroom, and guest room with queen sized bed), and the 3rd floor (with laundry, guest room with two twins + private bath, and master bedroom + private bath). So just be mindful that if you’re not good with lots stairs, this might not be the best fit for you. But that being said, the screened in porch on the 2nd floor and the balcony out of the master bedroom were so enjoyable! We are already thinking about making plans to come back here with our friends. The property managers (My Ocean Rental) were friendly, checked in often, and were very good at communicating via text. We unfortunately suffered power outages due to storm bands from Hurricane Helene, but they took the initiative to text us the web link so we could keep track of the outage map. We would stay again. :)

Home away from home

We loved our stay? Very clean and well cared for! Had everything we needed. Could walk to town, 10 min walk to the beach as long as not carrying a bunch of stuff. We did rent a golf cart for a few days. Garage did fit an Escape, Edge and the golf cart with space on the side for beach toys/chairs. Very narrow, so a full size truck may be very tight. There is an outdoor shower out the garage back door to get the sand off before you head in. Master bedroom upstairs had a nice balcony and the 2 twin beds with a bathroom was perfect for the kids. We utilized the pool and did some fishing off the docks. Even saw dolphins. Lots of space for our family and the screened in porch off the living room was a place we went to in the evenings.

Nice stay

The stay was very enjoyable. The location is close to downtown and the beach. Our kids liked the pool and dock to go fishing at. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and we never felt cramped. The screened in porch was also very nice. The only complaint was that we spent at lot of time moving cars, bikes, golf carts around in the garage as it was very narrow.

We LOVED the house! It had everything we needed and more. The screen in porch was so peaceful morning & night. Our youngest daughter loved the upstairs walk out porch. Having the marsh right behind us was so amazing to listen to. We spent lots of time at the pool and the walk from the house there was short 😀. The location of the house to downtown & the beach was prefect. We highly recommend this place and hope to visit very soon again.

Great location

This property was conveniently located, within walking distance, to restaurants and a short golf cart ride to the beach. (Totally walkable if you aren’t carrying a ton of beach gear.) There is a pretty water view of the marsh in the back of the house. We sat on the screened-in porch that faced the marsh pretty much all the time. The sunsets are also gorgeous.

Absolutely wonderful!

We had the best week at this property in Folly Beach. My husband and our 2 children stayed here and look forward to staying again next year! Check in was super easy (a few difficulties with the door code but they were easily accessible and helpful and kind). Property was pristine. All the furniture was comfortable and the sunset view from the balcony was the best end to the days. Walking distance to everything you want in Folly and an easy drive into Charleston. Thank you for a great vacation!!

This was our first road trip and we will definitely do it again. The accommodations were just as they were portrayed on the website (although the two twin beds were reported to be uncomfortable), the place was clean and the one issue we had (garage door opener) was addressed timely and resolved. The property was clean and located a quick walk to the ocean. While mostly wonderful, we did expect a few things to be provided-hair dryers, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. A welcome kit that is usually standard (pack of ground coffee, microwave popcorn, sugar and creamer packs) were not there. Would have preferred to have beach towels or beach chairs provided. Liked having the garage door remote available for use. I would recommend your maintenance check the sink traps in all the bathrooms and the sliding drapes on the main level screened deck. They did not slide.

Boujee but beautiful

All together, this place was good. The condo itself was nice and fit us 5 adults with no problem. The garage on the unit was able to fit a rav4, golf cart, and ram 1500. However, I have qualms with the parking here. You’re not allowed to park outside the garage, which was kind of lame. When the unit says it fits oversized cars in the garage, keep in mind oversized is really mid size SUV. The ram was almost impossible to get inside. If I had known it was this tight, I would have suggested another car. I had asked for a parking pass, which was a possibility that was mentioned by the property, but when I asked they said they didn’t offer for this unit because of garage…They also have a noise monitor in the unit, which I didn’t know about until before check in. We never set it off, and were rather rowdy, so it’s noise friendly for the most part. The river behind the unit was nice too. The stairs in the unit are VERY steep so if you have trouble with stairs this is not the unit to rent. The HOA was very boujee and particular so make sure you follow all their rules. Honestly, I probably wouldn’t come back here because of how many rules and restrictions there are, we like to vacation pretty hard, so this just wasn’t the right place for our kind of family. However, this is a wonderful property and would be enjoyed more by families with young kids, or older couples.

Loved the area

Quick 4 night stay for spring break. I highly recommend visiting in the off season as we did. Very quiet, pleasant weather and comfortable accommodations. Plenty of restaurants and even many vegetarian options on Center Street. Lost Dog for breakfast/lunch a must. Easily maneuvered around DT Charleston (6 miles away), Fort Sumpter and LOVED James Island County Park. Be aware there are lots of stairs and wouldn’t bring someone who had difficulty getting up and down them easily. I would also bring any beach equipment including towels as they are not provided. Same goes for any spice other than salt and pepper. Overall the entire family (with 2 teens) was happy with the property.
