Robin's Hood ist ein gemütliches, modernes Haus am Flussufer mit hohen Decken und einem offenen Grundriss. Vom Wohnzimmer aus kann man durch die Panoramafenster auf die Baumkronen jenseits des Flussufers blicken. Blaureiher, Rotkehlchen, Spechte und eine Reihe von Vögeln besuchen den Privatstrand oder den Vogelhäuschen auf dem Deck. Im Sommer stehen Kajaks zur Verfügung.

Das Haus verfügt über zwei große Schlafzimmer mit Queensize-Betten und Pillow-Top-Matratzen in jedem Zimmer. Beide Schlafzimmer haben eine private Terrasse. Es gibt einen kleineren Vorraum mit Panoramafenstern und Blick auf den Fluss, in dem ein Ausziehbett für zwei Personen bequem schlafen kann. Das Wohnzimmer bietet Blick auf die Terrasse und die umliegenden Bäume. Im ganzen Haus gibt es Oberlichter. Der Blick vom Deck ist auf den Fluss und die Bäume. Es gibt keine Häuser auf der anderen Seite des Flusses und dies ist ein sehr privater Ort.

Für den Gourmetkoch wird die Küche mit allen benötigten Werkzeugen und einer Reihe von Gewürzen in den Schränken geliefert. Der Essbereich bietet bequem Platz für 6 drinnen und 8 plus draußen.

Es gibt Brettspiele, Bücher, DVCs und andere Spiele zur Verfügung gestellt, um Ihre Zeit zu besetzen. Liegestühle, Schwimmkörper usw. stehen Ihnen in der Garage oder im Abstellraum auf dem Deck zur Verfügung.

Das Haus liegt 3,2 km von Guerneville und 20 Minuten von Jennar entfernt. Es gibt eine Reihe von Weinbergen in der Nähe und tolle Spaziergänge an den Stränden der Sonoma-Küste oder im Amstrong Woods.

Thanksgiving 2024

Enjoyed the peace and quiet of Robinshood rental. Was able to sew and finish a few Christmas gifts! My husband and family were over on Saturday to celebrate our Thanksgiving. Preparing the dinner was a breeze as Robinshood had ALL the amenities of home. Rehka was wonderful in responding quickly to my questions. Look forward to our next visit.

Beautiful view

We loved this house. Great communication, easy access. Quiet area. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped. The kayaks are great quality. We spent a lot of time on the beautiful spacious deck with the French doors open, enjoying the view. I would caution that the path down to the dock and the river is steep. We would definitely come again.

House on the River

This house was perfect. The patio overlooked the river and provided amazing views. The kitchen was stocked well which made traveling from out of state easier (no need to buy spices/seasoning to cook). The bedrooms were spacious and the beds, comfortable. This was a great getaway!

Family vacation

The property was perfect for a family wanting to spend time together. It is near beautiful beaches. We went to Goat Rock beach 4 evenings to watch the sun set. It was empty and way more beautiful than puctures present. Napa Valley was a huge hit. Armstrong park nearby is great for Redwoods.

FORE FOR 40!

This year I wanted a golf and river birthday. This was perfect. The house is less then 5 minutes walk from the 1st tee. So after my best Northwood round, we had a barbecue on the deck. We loved watching the woodpeckers and herons flying over the river. We spent Sunday being river bums, kayaked and floated. We celebrated the gifts of this location. I couldn't ask for anything more. Robinshood was a perfect getaway!

Upon entering Robinshood it exuded comfort and tranquility. I found the home impeccably cleaned with all the comforts of home! Great experience

We had a great time at this property, which is nested in the redwoods with a beautiful view onto the river. The house was very clean and the kitchen was by far the best stocked we have ever had - all types of cooking and serving utensils and dish ware, spices and other condiments. There is a large deck with a large table to eat outside, several kayaks and a canoe for the river, and a gas fireplace in the living room to keep warm on cool evenings and mornings. The owner was very responsive and extremely flexible. Highly recommended!

Great Golf Location

If you are looking for a house near the Northwood Golf Course or a river view this is the one. It was very comfortable for 5 people. (6 if you don't mind a trundle bed) location was across from 2nd hole of Northwood and very easy to get to. Comfortable beds and sitting area and well stocked kitchen! Would stay again for sure!!

Along the River

The property was beautiful, the view from the living room and deck was simply amazing; not to mention the Stellar Jays, woodpeckers and song birds that came to visit everyday. The kitchen was well stocked with every cooking device and utensil you could think to use. The water toys were in abundance and I haven't even mentioned the proximity to Northwood Restaurant and golf course.

Great spacious place!

Nice house tucked away in the golf course on a very quiet stretch of river. The master bedroom is very spacious and the other rooms are a good size as well. Everything you need is included.

Lovely stay at Russian River

We had a great time at Rekha’s house on the water. It was our first time in the area and the house’s location couldn’t be better - close to restaurants and amenities but in a neighborhood that feels very private. We also used the kayaks available at the house for a float down the river and saw deer and many birds from the deck of the house. Communication with Rekha was easy and very prompt! We can’t wait to be back.

Wonderful experience in this amazing home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2.5 weeks here in summer. The location was excellent for long walks, golfing across the street and peaceful kayak trips in the Russian river, where we saw deer, buzzards, ducks, cranes and other birds! We also visited 8 wineries for tasting and pairings. The home was equipped with all the necessities and many luxuries. We used all the amenities, preparing many meals, and everything was in great working order. A couple friends and family joined us briefly and we were all very comfortable. Our favorite was the view from the deck - we spent many hours observing wildlife and relaxing in the sunshine! We'll definitely return.

excellent house at the bank of russian river

we loved our stay at the house. We stayed for a week, to take a short break and relax from nearby san francisco. It's well situated, with vistas of the river and the forest from the patio and many of the rooms. One can even take a good 30-40m walk in the morning around the golf course at the back. There is a coffee shop with good coffee rewarding the coffee addicts among us at the end of such a walk in the woods in the morning. The house is well stocked among other things with sports gear, and kayaks that enriched our stay. We did many trips on the river with our 10 year old. We also appreciated the tasteful interior design, homey yet done with taste and care. Great nearby stay for city folks. We are coming again soon :)

I decided to purchase the house in 2007 as a place to getaway from my busy urban life. I love Robin's Hood and the surrounding area as do my friends who come to visit. The most frequent comments from friends are about how much they love the house, views and the activities while we are up there. The golf course is adjacent to the house, an extra amenity for those who golf.

My most amazing experience at Robin's Hood was seeing a family of six river otters swimming at the beach, stop and play on the riverbank.

I hope that if you rent the house that you have a wonderful time.

Northwood, the area of Monte Rio the home is located in, is a really special area, there are no communities like it along the river. The house is in a rustic area but updated and modern with charming details.

Very quiet and peaceful. Great for kids also as they can hang out at the beach all day, play games on the deck. There are beaches nearby with tide pools or take a kayak ride from the private beach down the river. There is a picture on this site of the deer sighting that we had on one of our kayak rides and of the star fish we spotted at the beach.
