Wonderful property and area

The house is perfect. We loved the open and beautifully laid out floor plan. Great for staying at home yet close to downtown Galena and to the clubhouse if you want to go out which we also did. We loved the screened in porch which we opened the door for some fresh air. The lazy susan in the middle of the kitchen table was perfect as well for playing board games or cards. The owner was fabulous about getting back to me with any minor questions I had. We enjoyed it so much that we will definitely be back.

Phenomenal Stay

I absolutely cannot say enough about our visit. We've stayed in the territory the last 4 years but first year at this property and we'll never stay at another. It was so peaceful, cozy, charming and had everything we needed to feel right at home (even spices!!!) The owners were so sweet and communicative and let us check in early. We will absolutely be staying here again soon!

Wonderful home, and even more wonderful host!

Great place in a great location! Lauri was an amazing host from the moment of our booking. She sent so much info regarding the house and amenities, things to do, directions to activities, etc... Check in was seemless and our stay was great! I would definitely stay there again!

Best stay ever!

We had such a great stay! We’ll be back for sure! The house has everything you need and such a beautiful view out back! So spacious for six adults. Hope to return in warmer weather to enjoy the outdoor spaces.

It served our needs perfectly. Kitchen met all our needs, the Propane Grill was utilized Saturday evening. All three couples enjoyed their accommodations. Lauri the Owner was very accommodating as well…overall 5 Stars!

Galena Girls Trip

The property is beautiful. Lauri was an incredible host. The house is spacious and clean. We had a super-moon during our stay which made being outside on the deck at night even better. Everything on the Galena Territory property is so close and the drive in any direction is so scenic. I would highly recommend this place!!!

House was nicely layed out. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom. The screened in porch was awesome... we could enjoy our breakfast on the porch without being annoyed by bugs. Great views even watched wild turkeys roaming.

Family vacation

The house was clean and comfortable for our group of 6 adults and 2 toddlers. We really enjoyed the screened porch to take advantage of the cool evening temperatures without worrying about bugs. The property was peaceful and quiet, but within minutes of swimming, golf, hiking, and the shops and restaurants of downtown Galena. The owner’s recommendations of places to go and restaurants were excellent! We had a great time and would not hesitate to stay at this property again.

Absolutely did not disappoint!

We stayed the weekend here, 4 college sorority sisters in our 60’s now. This home was very clean, spacious, & comfortable. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, plenty of extra blankets and pillows, & very cute decor. The 4 seasons room was a favorite hangout for coffee and wine and cheese while making our plans. Lauri was so great to work with and was available by text if needed. Definitely will come back again, our experience was 5 star for sure!

Our family had a wonderful stay in the Galena Territory. The home is beautiful and located in a peaceful location of the territory. Beautiful view from the family room. Celebrated my Father's 80th birthday with a golf weekend

Lauri was a wonderful, available host. The home was a perfect location for golf at Eagle Ridge Resort and a was a 20 minute short drive to the town of Galena for shopping and eating. Seven adults stayed at the home there was plenty of room for everyone. We played card games in the evening after dinner at the dining table and had coffee in the morning in the screened in porch. kitchen was great and we were able to prepare and serve a couple meals at the home. It was a relaxing stay and the amenities were exactly as listed on the website. Definitely would recommend to friends and family. Thank you Lauri.

Fabulous House and Host

We had a family reunion here and it worked perfectly. The house is lovely and in a beautiful location. We loved that there were plenty of bathrooms and the main space was perfect for casual time together. The kitchen was great. Had everything we needed. It was great to be able to have simple meals there instead of going out. The place was very clean. There was plenty to do very close by so the location is ideal. The best is Laurie, the host. She was truly fabulous. Every question was answered right away and thoroughly. She made us feel right at home. When we are in the area again we would not consider staying anywhere else. Do yourself a favor and book this place!

You won’t regret this decision

First and foremost, Lauri is the best property owner I’ve ever encountered in my five VRBO experiences. She was super quick to respond to questions, explained everything perfectly, and could not have been kinder or more welcoming. Her home is beautiful, and I love that it’s not right in town, but very close to it. It felt like being in the middle of nowhere yet so close to town. Her home has every amenity you could think of! (Even extra phone chargers should you forget one!) The views are fantastic, very rustic and charming, we saw so many lovely birds. Choose this lovely home for your next family and/or friends get together. We most certainly will be back! Thank you again Lauri!

We will definitely be back on our next visit! The property was very well kept and clean. The views were spectacular even in the winter! I bet it is amazing during the spring and fall!!!
