Ours ist ein 5 Schlafzimmer, 3 1/2 Bad Haus, das 13 Personen bequem schläft. Was dieses Haus von anderen Häusern in der Gegend unterscheidet, ist die Lage am wunderschönen Magnolia Lake und die Nähe zum Meer. Es wurde gebaut, um den Blick auf das Meer zu maximieren, aber auch in einer ruhigen Sackgasse, die vom Lärm des Parks entfernt ist. Friedlich ist das Wort, das dieses Zuhause beschreibt. Fischer lieben es, dass sie direkt von unserem Haus aus angeln können. Es gibt 2 große Decks, wo Sie als Gruppe zusammenkommen oder sich zum Sonnenbaden ausruhen können. Es ist gut eingerichtet und alle Bettwäsche ist vorhanden. Es gibt nur wenige andere Häuser im Ocean Lakes-Komplex, die genauso sauber und gut gebaut sind wie dieser. Leute, die hier bleiben, sagen uns immer, dass dies ihr Lieblingshaus in Ocean Lakes ist.

Fantastic house!

Our family of 12 stayed here and the house was great! Check in was really smooth and the joy see was clean and the kitchen well stocked. The view from the porches was amazing. The porch furniture was super comfortable! The garage was also stocked with beach gear which was very convenient. Carol was responsive and helpful. Thank you 😊

Excellent Location and Community!

Our family (including grandparents) truly loved Ocean Lakes! Communication with Carol and the checkin process, etc., was very stress free and easy. It would have been nice to know upfront that there is an additional $70 fee per vehicle for the week. That was an unexpected cost that added up quickly with 4 vehicles. The location of the house was truly fantastic! It was close to everything and afforded the opportunity for us to allow the kids (ages 10-17) to pretty much come and go as they pleased with easy access to beach, fantastic pool and water park, market, grill, putt putt, etc., They really loved the golf cart parade that occurred at night on the “strip” too. We did have the added cost to rent a golf cart as well, but it was worth it. Although the house is listed as 5 bedrooms and 3 FB we found it to be small for our family of 12. The master bedroom felt like it was in the middle of the living room and did not afford any privacy at all. Additionally, all of the beds were on wooden platforms which made for them to be very loud and uncomfortable. We pretty much woke each other up every time we moved in the night. The kitchen was stocked well enough for us to get by with preparing meals for everyone and it was great to have such a large table to be able to sit any enjoy everyone’s company. The exterior of the house is in need of a significant power washing. The spiders have pretty much claimed the outdoor space as their own - amazing how fast they can rebuild all of those webs!!! But, at least we didn’t have any issues with mosquitoes, especially being so close to the water! We will definitely be returning to Ocean Lakes again! Thank you very much for sharing your home for our family vacation! :)

The house was in a great location right on the lake. We had plenty of room for everyone. Beautiful

Great experience renting property, wonderful communication. Everyone had a great time. Our only complaint would be the mattresses were not very comfortable but it didn't slow us down, we had a great week.

Beautiful Beach House and Amazing View

We loved our stay at Carol's beach house. The home was very nice and the porches/decks were awesome. This home had the best view of the lake and ocean. We fished a lot from the deck and enjoyed time out on the porches. We would stay again for sure. Carol was super easy to talk to and very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful Place

This is a beautiful place to stay. Oceanlakes is getting a little too populated though. There were many people with little open ; which made the lines long in the places that were. I suppose they were short handed because of Covid but my grandkids wanted the ice slushies and the junk food from the little stands in the park. They wanted the slides that were broke for several days.

Plenty of room for our crowd

Great house, clean-plenty of room for our family of 12. Our family had not taken a meal together indoors since March. We enjoyed preparing a large breakfast and family dinner in the well-equipped kitchen. I highly recommend this Ocean Lakes house for a crowd!

Great home for an extended family vacation!

This lovely home was perfect for our three generation family vacation. It easily accommodated our 13 (6 adults/7 kids) without ever feeling cramped. Ocean Lakes has great amenities but one of my favorites on the entire property was the swing by the water. The deck and balconies offer amazing views with great wildlife sightings. Would love to go back!

The location was quite in a very crowded 4th of July week. If you like golf carts then this is the place. If not then find a condo or beach house. . The property had all the amenities. The view was great. The owner was very nice and great to work with..

Beautiful location and well kept home!

We would definitely stay here again. The location was perfect right on the lake and a view of the ocean. Not far walk from both ocean and pool. Kids fished right off the porch every night. House had everything we needed. Our family had a wonderful vacation here!

This house was amazing!! Beautiful views outside and beautiful design inside!

We celebrated our parents 50th Wedding Anniversary at the beautiful beach house with all of our immediate family! Carol, the owner, was super helpful and sweet!! We had an amazing time filled with many memories that we will forever cherish! We hope to stay here again and highly recommend the place and the wonderful accommodating owners! 😊

AMAZING beach house

Carol's home is absolutely stunning! My family loved staying here and there was certainly plenty of room for everyone. The neighborhood is very quiet and relaxing. I have nothing but positive things to say about the communication and check-in/out process as well. Carol was very quick in her responses to emails and phone calls and was quick to assist when we needed anything. I was thoroughly impressed with how clean everything was and how many amenities were included with the stay-- access to secluded beach, restaurant facilities right down the street, waterpark that is open during the warmer seasons, etc. I would absolutely stay here again!!!

Beautiful and Peaceful Location

Our family of 10 spent 2-weeks @ this wonderful house in Ocean Lakes. We enjoyed being on the lake watching the swans, ducks, turtles and the fishing was pretty good as well. The location was perfect and Carol is an absolute gem to work with. We are hoping to return to this home for another 2-weeks in 2016! Thank you Carol for making our stay so memorable!

Relaxing location - Great house!

My family had a fantastic time during our stay at this house. The quiet location was great, yet we were very close to the beach and recreation areas. Everything was clean and well stocked. Carol was so friendly and answered all our questions quickly. She even called a few times before our trip, just to make sure we had everything we needed for an easy check-in. It is a great choice for vacationing in Ocean Lakes!

Great Stay in the Offseason

We stayed at the Ocean Lakes house this past November. It was 2 families with young children and the house was excellent. The first floor is roomy and comfortable and the kitchen was just the right size for us to cook in. The bedrooms were all quiet sizable and we never felt crowded once. We loved the wrap around decks on each floor and the location is great. Ocean Lakes was very quiet, and it was amazing to wake up on a lake with a view of the Ocean. We were a short drive to downtown Myrtle, a number of golf courses, and a couple amazing restaurants. We would definitely stay again. We wished the ground floor had a little more fencing on the lake's edge instead of just a rope, but we just made sure to keep a real close eye on the little ones. I think the only complaint I can even come up with is by November the lake was pretty well fished out, we didn't catch a whole lot, but we still had a lot of fun trying. Carol was great to work with and we are already discussing a return trip!

So Peaceful!

This House was perfect for our family. We had 2 kids and they fished and rode their scooters up and down the lil cul de sac. Sitting by the lake at night was so serene, and feeding the ducks, geese and swam was so nice. The ducks were there each morning, even the babies looking for food. We enjoyed big meals at the table and bar, even the picnic table on the porch. Carol was a pleasure to work with and very friendly. Thanks so much for letting us use your awesome vaction home..

The Ultimate Snowbird Winter Home

This has to be the ultimate winter home for a pair of snowbirds. The layout is perfect with a king-size bedroom, en-suite full bath, half bath and laundry all on the main floor; no need to go upstairs. The view of Magnolia Lake and all its wildlife with the ocean in the background is spectacular, especially compared to the very limited view from most neighbouring houses. Finally it is only a five minute walk from the Recreation Centre and all the snowbird activities held there. Needless to say it is very well furnished and equipped.

Great Vacation House

We absolutely love staying in this beach house! It's has plenty of space for many families to be together. We have rented lots of homes in Ocean Lakes and by far this is the best rental house we have rented! It's clean and has everything you can think of that you need on a vacation (great furniture inside and outside, the beds sleep well and everything you need to cook inside or out). Looking forward to the week we have booked in August 2014!!!

Awesome Ladies Weekend Getaway

This was one of the best houses we have stayed in while visiting Ocean Lakes. It was clean, roomy and had all the kitchen utensils we needed. The best part was the beautiful sunrise we got to see each morning. The location is a PLUS !! Sitting on the deck each night, listening to the water fountain was very relaxing and I'm sure the ducks appreciated all the treats they got while we were there. Carol was very helpful with any questions we had and she did everything to make our stay as comfotable as possible. We hope to be able to return and stay here on our next vacation. Thank you Carol for allowing us the use of your beautiful lakeside beach house !!

Great location and great vacation

Loved the location of the house on the lake and end of quite street. Kitchen fully equipped. Loved not having to bring linens from home. Liked the use of the garage to store our stuff in safely. Plenty of room for all of us. Just wished the weather had been better. It was 68 degrees when we left on the 17th.

We have been bringing our children to Ocean Lakes for 27 years. We are an Army family and no matter where we have lived in the world, Ocean Lakes is where we come home to vacation. We have a special attachment to the place and are delighted to actually own a home here.

This is a very special house. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach, yet it is right on beautiful Lake Magnolia. If you want excitement you will surely find it on the beach or at the Ocean Lakes Water Park. If you want quiet and solitude you can find it on the swing by the lake. You can see the ocean from several of the bedrooms, as well as from the living room and kitchen. The master bedroom and bath suite have a king sized bed and are located on the main level. The house sleeps 14 people with plenty of bathrooms. There is a very quiet and peaceful feel to the house. There are several areas where people can gather or get away by themselves, including 2 large decks and a lower area beside the lake. I promise that after you stay here, you will want to come back.
