This property was perfect! Well stocked kitchen, very clean, comfortable bed! Well stocked with start up TP, washer pods, dishwasher pods, dish soap, and shampoo and wash. 2 cold beers awaited us! Thank you Johnny and Lynn!

Clean and well equipped

The perfect place. Probably the best equipped rental we have ever stayed in. From rice cooker to ice maker, and everything in between. Lots of assorted spices and oils to choose from. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, we really didn’t want to leave. A short walk to the beach and being close to the Main Street with its restaurants and small shops made it the perfect location. Alexandra and cleaning staff were very helpful.Highly recommended

Beautiful apartment in Orient Bay

We stayed at La Bevelle with my husband for the NYE’s week 2024-25. The apartment is at a perfect location, walking distance to the village but in a quiet corner away from the noise. Also, very close to the beach with access to the beach gate. Added bonus is the concierge service provided by Alexandre and Christina which is very helpful for support locally. All in all, great accommodation and we are hoping to be back sometime in future. Thank you Johnny and Lynn for renting it to us!

Lovely Equipped Apartment, Perfect Location

This was a super well equipped apartment that had things not usually found, like containers, foil, starter coffee, beach chairs/umbrella. It had great AC and one of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept on. It could use foot wash/rinse outside and there is no microwave, but nothing that would prevent us from returning. The location is exceptional! Easy walk to grocery store and fabulous restaurants in the village. We happily discovered the key to the gate to get to the beach closest to clothing optional beach. We would most definitely return to this lovely property!

Passiflore Building

Owners and property mangers were very helpful. Door lock was challenging the first couple of days. We loved the location as a home base, enjoying dining at a different restaurant nightly making it unnecessary to drive at night. Calmer beaches such as Friars, Grand Case, Anse Marsel and Mullet were a pleasure to visit as well. Casino market was in walking distance and perfect for our few needs. We hope to return again soon.

Flight was delayed so in dark had trouble locating the property. No shower first 2 days( valve was off while installs EE toilet). Fixed on day 3. New in room safe and property manager couldn’t get open either. Not fun taking valuables with us for 2 weeks. Was offered a master key which not satisfied using. No ac in l living area for 2 week stay but upstairs bedroom worked fine! Nice to have washer/ dryer combo and the smart TVs were fine. Kitchen fully equipped but coffee pot was broken. We are in our 70s and too many steps for us to rent again but fine for some I’m sure!

Great Stay!

La Bevelle was exactly what we imagined! Check in was extremely easy and the size of the unit was fantastic. On the quieter side of the village but was just what we liked. Easy walk to the shops and restaurants as well as the beach. The unit had everything we needed for our stay! I would highly recommend and we will be back!

Delightful!

We absolutely loved the apartment, which was spacious, clean, and quiet. The location was perfect- near several restaurants, a super boulangerie, a small Casino supermarket, and the beautiful Orient Bay beach. Unfortunately, we did not discover Bona Mama till our last night. The pizza was delicious, as was the chocolate mousse. I imagine their other offerings are delectable (beer and wine are available for sale, too). Luckily, the kitchen was really well stocked. Although I initially had some trouble figuring out how to work the cooktop, it was amazing once I got the hang of it (thank you, YouTube!). The back porch was fantastic for breakfast each day- be on the lookout for the resident iguana in one of the trees-very entertaining. The bed was extremely comfortable; so was the couch. The downstairs TV was terrific (and huge). Of note is the lack of an ATM in Orient Bay. We were unaware of that and did not have a rental car, so getting cash proved tricky. Otherwise, everything was perfect. Especially impressive was communication from the owner and the property manager. We recommend the apartment without hesitation. Thank you!

Highly recommended for value

The condo was clean and well equipped except only two bath towels were provided per person for a 13-night stay; so we did laundry several times during our stay. The washer and drier combo came in handy. We had trouble finding laundry detergent at the store, but the property manager was quick to bring us some when I called her. Both the owners and the property manager were great at answering questions. My wife was concerned about mosquitos and security before we left home. No worries! It is about a 5- minute walk to the beach through a locked gate for security. I did not see one vagrant or local “merchants” in our neighborhood. We treated our clothes with bug spray a few days before we left home. We used insect repellant the first day we were there. I did not see one mosquito; so after the first day, I did not use any repellant and never got bit once. My wife had a couple of bites from something, but not sure that it was a mosquito. We were going to rent a car, but decided to use taxis for getting around the island. We called Noel taxi. His number is in the “Handbook” located in the condo. The Handbook has a lot of helpful information. Noel has several drivers working for him, and they were always on time for pickup. Fares were $20 to Grand Case, $35 to Friar’s Bay, $35 to Phillipsburg, $20 to the ferry boat to Pinel Island, and $40 to the airport. Obviously, you need to double those amounts for the round trip. I tipped about 10%. Expensive, yes. But still less cost and

Lynn and I are both full-time nurses living and working in North Carolina. We bought this condo as our retirement home because we love St. Martin very much. We plan to partially retire here in the near future, but until then, we will rent it for others to enjoy.

Lynn and I feel that we've picked the perfect location for couples to relax and enjoy what we think is one of the greatest beaches in the Caribbean, Orient Bay Beach; not to mention all the fun and fabulous restaurants that are within walking distance.

Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig

Lynn and I, over a two year period, purchased brand new items and furnishings from the States and had them shipped to St. Martin in a twenty foot sea container. La Pierres Marble, located on the Island in Hope Estates did a wonderful job renovating and remodeling the apartment, from all white marble floors and granite counter tops to state of the art appliances and electronics. At the end of the renovation, which was a week before hurricane Irma, we completed the project. Unfortunately, hurricane Irma caused some drywall and paint damage, but it was quickly repaired soon after the storm. The pictures you see in this ad were taken February 2018. Lynn and I stayed in our condo during Hurricane Irma, and we are truly blessed to say that our vacation home stood-up to the challenge.
