Just okay

We had very high hopes for this vacation with the pictures provided online. However, the property is need of sprucing up on the outside, and the inside was very dark and dingy. Bed was not very comfortable, grill was not cleaned with food debris from previous guest still remaining, as well as dirt remained in the hot tub. This was supposed to be a romantic get away for our 11 year anniversary. The best part of the property was the location of the river and the ability to hear the rapids with the windows open, and the eagles nest in the tree in the backyard. Other than that, I think it needs some work for the cost. The manager was very responsive and offered to have cleaning company come out to clean, but we did not want to be interrupted on our vacation.

Romantic Vacay for 2

My gf and I had a great time. We enjoyed the large window in the master bedroom where we could watch the majestic bald eagle soar over the river. We hiked Wallace falls and did some thrilling white water rafting in Wenatchee. A quaint and homey abode and the hottub was the relaxation destination. We would definitely recommend this stay to anyone needing the perfect vacation. We'll be back!

Nice cabin feel home

Really enjoyed our stay. Would like to return again. Pluses were location, hot tub, fireplace, bedrooms and chef like oven. Dining room table great size. Helpful info on nearby restaurants and what-to-do for siteseeing etc. Owner very accommodating with early check-in. Please note only has 1 shower no soaps/shampoos. Has drip coffeemaker. Would be helpful to stock oil, flour/sugar and basic condiments?

Sweet little getaway

This cottage was just what we were looking for! We wanted a quick getaway from the city to sit somewhere beautiful in a hot tub for hours like snow monkeys. The home owner was very accommodating to prepare the cabin on short notice and when we arrived was immaculately clean and comfortable. It's located in a very convenient location to do day hikes at Wallace Falls, Barclay Lake and Bridal Vail Falls and come back to a warm fire and a relaxing soak while watching the birds and river go by.

Beautiful location inside and out

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. We had three adults, one four year old, and one six year old on our trip. We all enjoyed the easy access to the river for rock exploring and climbing. We retreated to the hot tub both during the day and night to view the stars. The gas barbecue was easy to use and the expansive kitchen counters made it easy to store all of our goodies with space to prepare. The spiral stair case and natural wood inside were a beautiful treat. Loved all of the games and books provided, too. We hope to return again!

When the pictures are spot on....

We arrived late on Thursday but knew from communication with the owner that there was a grocery store close open late so we picked up our stuff and went to our cottage! We woke up early the next day to realize we were right in the midst of the beautiful photos we had saw online! What a view!! We came for a spartan race but found the solitude and peacefulness we needed!

Beautiful place. Although it was smaller than expected but still very spacious for 4 ppl. We really enjoyed our time there. The sound of the river in the morning and before the sunset is spectacular. The house is very clean and has pretty much everything you need from cooking, relaxing to board games. Definitely recommend it to everybody.

Excellent choice in this one! Would do it all again.

This place in the river, with an eagles nest, over 4th of July week was patriotic, calm, beautiful and amazing! The view and comfort of this home was perfect. The fire pit and hot tub was a great way to unwind the day. The house was clean and easy to get to. We did a day in Seattle because the drive was beautiful and not too far. I especially LOVED every second of watching the bald eagles fly above. We saw the mother bringing a fish to the nest and on 4th of July, the baby eagle came out of the nest and stretched around. It truly was beautiful. My kids loved it, my husband and I loved it. We would totally stay here again.

Beautiful!

My wife and I chose this area as a gift to ourselves for our birthdays, a trip without the kids. The views were stunning. It was like images Ansel Adams would take. It was peaceful. The hot tub was a huge plus. The house was quaint, and exactly what we wanted. Cabin-like with more than enough space. The town around was very hometown-like and friendly. Everything you would need. Would ABSOLUTELY recommend. We loved it so much in this area we talked of looking at property. We very much want to go back and would hope this cabin is available!

Just Five? This Cabin Deserves A Galaxy Full of Stars

To stay in this space is to experience the Holy Grail of Hygge. It is the most superlatively well-designed, inviting, and relaxing home I have ever visited in my many, many years of cozy cabin excursions. We visited during a heavy snowstorm in mid-February. Snow blanketed the entire landscape. The play between the rich, warm wooden textures inside and the crisp, pillowy snow outside made for a contrast so cinematic it was hard to believe this was happening in real life and not through elaborate movie magic. The layout of the house is very unique in the best possible way. It exemplifies principles of good design in both it's feng-shui flow and its minimal (but very heartfelt) decorations and works of art. How the space is separated into spheres of influence - cooking, dining, relaxing, reading, and sleeping - could not be more comfortable or more cohesive. It is an inspiration just to move through this house and see how much intent has been put into creating Balance. There is no clutter and every piece of art and furniture has exactly the right of negative space to frame it perfectly. The view and proximity to the Skykomish River are a major advantage of this house over all others. Osprey and eagles soar over the river in the mornings looking for breakfast. The mountains behind the river are endlessly enchanting to stare at day or night. Sit in this hot tub on a clear night and stare upwards to behold a breathtaking view of the depth of the cosmos. The air flowing down the valley and the sound of the river water across the rocks combined with the warmth of the tub is the pinnacle of oceanic relaxation. The house is in a neighborhood however there is plenty of privacy on both sides. The kitchen and bathroom are very dialed in and well equipped. We hardly ever left (mostly because it was unbelievably beautiful in the snow) but if you do need anything a grocery store is less than 10 minutes away. My only regret is that we could not stay longer. I recommend not teasing yourself by staying merely 2-3 nights but to try to spend as much time as you possibly can here. Once you burrow in to this cozy space you will not want to leave.

Perfect family Get Away

We had a great time at this cabin. The houses next door are relatively close but the cabin feels very remote. The view of the river is awesome, with easy access to the river. Was surprised by the wildlife. There is a bald eagle nest in a tree that faces the river, perfect view from the hot tub. We saw many humming birds and a woodpecker as we were leaving. The cabin had a good layout and kitchen had everything we needed. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the cabin, it could be an incredible rental if it was cleaned properly. It was like the maid service didn't even try. Even with that we will definitely stay again. Hopefully that gets addressed.

Not as described- would NOT stay again

we traveled to WA to meet with family that we had not seen in a couple of years. We rented this cabin because the pics and online reviews looked good. We were traveling at end of July 2018. However when we got there- the property had not been kept up. We had a nice family time. However, we were disappointed with the property. 1. The grass on the right side yard was dead and not matching pictures so not usable for our small grandson to play in the area. 2. Very large weeds to be cleared in front of the river, near impossible to get to river from property 3. Bed on ground floor is broken and not able to sleep in, our son had to sleep on the couch. 4. Towels smell bad and not fresh. They smelled like cooking oil. They are worn and in my opinion should be replaced 5. The hand soap is not usable and smells like oil as well. 6. 2nd floor bedrooms have no ventilation/air or fans and are very warm and difficult to sleep in because they are so warm. We feel that the price and description of the property is higher than the quality of the home that was offered. We contacted the owner and the management company Evolve. Both were not willing to provide resolution. We will not stay at this cabin- nor with this management company again. If I were you- I would not either- if there is an issue they are not willing to take care of it. Thank you-

Wonderful place in a great location!

The accommodations were perfect! Located right on the river, such a relaxing way to start and end the day. The sound of the river was wonderful. The cabin was in great shape with everything we needed. The hot tub was perfect for unwinding after long days filled with hikes. And zeke’s right across the street was a wonderful treat! Hope to be able to return someday, loved it!

It was fantastic! We will absolutely be back.

The house was very clean and exactly as described. The views are amazing and the wildlife was such a wonderful surprise. We ended our trip in Seattle and agreed next time we will stay at this property the whole time! Lots of hiking within a few miles.

Clean, comfy and great location

The cabin was clean, well stocked with towels and blankets and the kitchen was well-equipped. We enjoyed the hot tub, even in the rain! At about an hour away from Seattle it was easy to get to and yet "get away."
