Fun family beach getaway
Clean, comfortable beach house perfect for a small family. The neighborhood was safe, quiet, and far from the hustle and bustle. It was so peaceful.
The kitchen was well-apportioned and had everything we needed to cook 3 meals a day. The owners stocked the pantry, cabinets, and fridge with thoughtful little extras, like condiments, spices, coffee, baggies, tin foil, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, etc. It was helpful because the nearest grocery store is 30+ min away.
The two bedrooms were nicely decorated and also had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The kids loved the bunk room--despite all being in one room, they felt like they had their own little nooks with reading lights and partial privacy. The primary suite bedroom was spacious and the mattress was comfortable. The bathrooms were well-stocked with towels, toilet paper, soaps, lotions, shampoo, and conditioner. It was so nice and made the stay beyond comfortable.
Outside there was plenty of seating, but they are not joking when they say bring bug spray. Bring ALL the bug spray! The mosquitos were vicious in the early evening.
The walk to the beach was about ten minutes with the loaded down wagon (about 1/2 mile). Even over the holiday weekend, the beach didn't feel crowded or hectic. We spent hours walking along the shore, collecting shells.
Communication with the owners was excellent, and they were super nice. We highly recommend this place for any family looking for a quiet beach retreat!
