Winter stay

Overall condition was good. Construction all around due to the recent hurricanes. Great view and nice furnishings.The elevator was not working prior to our arrival but again they had just been thru two hurricanes.The parking spaces are not marked well but the parking lot will be resurfaced in 2025.We would return next year but they do not allow pets which is typical of beachfront properties.

Great place.

Great view, good location across from the John’s Pass shops. Pool was open, 2 new grills recently added. The amenities and furniture by the pool and patio are slowly coming back after the hurricanes but overall a good experience. The unit is updated and has everything you need. Traditional coffee maker, etc.

The apartment was much quieter than others we have rented because it is not streetside. Appreciated having 2 beds.

My 2023 vacation at Sandy Shores

All cooking g utensils,dishes and cutlery. The beds were excellent and I found comfortable and clean.The clothes washer and dryer were pay as you go and right outside your door.I whole heartedly reccomend this Unit (305 ). I will book it when I go back again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is great. The pool is one of the best qualities. I eill say there is not enough shade sround the pool. Love the location. The condo was clean and kitchen had everything we needed. The only thing was a pair of someone’s underwear we found under the bed. Yuk. The only thing is the bathroom. It’s very old and the sink faucet is really stiff. Otherwise love the condo and have booked for next year. Customer service was very helpful when we didn’t have a code 15 minute prior to check in. Friends that come every year recommended the Sandy Shores and we loved it. I would definitely recommend it.

I didn't want to be in a one elevator property. The elevator did break down but was repaired same day. The condo was very comfortable and the view exceptional. The mattresses were very very comfortable. The kitchen however needs work. The trim on doors and countertop are very rough.

The kitchen had plenty of kitchen ware, a blender, microwave, coffee pot and toaster. Make sure you bring plenty of trash bags & dawn with plenty of dish rags. The patio had a lounge chair and a table with four chairs. The bedroom had two queen beds, a night stand, and a walk in closet to put all of your luggage. Bring beach towels & bath towels. There is a washer and dryer on each floor which was so convenient. There are lots of grocery stores, restaurants, & shops. We will definitely be back!

The units themselves are great. Each unit has been updated and maintained extremely well. They are clean and contain just about everything you need for your stay. The only consistent complaints are of course the elevator - yes they are slow but hey you are at the beach- what’s your hurry? And if you are in a hurry take the stairs!

And we had stayed at sandy shores before not in this rental also the code to get into the room never worked right very frustrating & the Elevator & the pool area very frustrating again... The only good thing about that room is the view of the Ocean other then that needs major changes ASAP

The condo that I rented had a balcony which provided the best of both worlds: time at the beach without the hassle of cleaning sand off every time I ventured out. The condo was quiet and all guests were very respectful in regards to noise levels! The booking experience could not have been easier: Dawn in the office was extremely helpful every step of the way!
