Villa Sunset

Die Villa Sunset liegt oberhalb von Jolly Harbor am Hang mit einer einmaligen Aussicht gegen Westen was jeden Tag fantastische Sonnenuntergänge zu bieten hat. Die Villa mit den drei Zimmern ist ideal für drei Paare oder eine grosse Familie. Das Highlight ist sicher der Infinitipool☺️! Ebenso ist die Küche super eingerichtet und das Essen im Freien ist unbezahlbar. Wir sind begeistert und können die Villa wärmstens empfehlen!

From the moment we booked Villa Sunset in Jolly Harbour, we knew we were in for a special experience, and our expectations were not only met but exceeded. The villa boasts a location that is nothing short of breathtaking, with a view, true to the villa's name, were a nightly spectacle. Marc was incredibly communicative, making the booking and stay seamless and worry-free. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a villa that was not only beautifully furnished but also thoughtfully equipped with everything we could need for our stay. The attention to detail in every room made it feel like a home away from home, but with the added luxury that you'd want from a holiday in paradise. The cleanliness of the villa was impeccable, thanks to the thorough and lovely cleaning staff, Avril & Daphine. It was clear they took great pride in their work, adding to the comfort and pleasure of our stay. Moreover, the management team was always on hand to answer any questions or help with enquiries, making us feel supported throughout our visit. The rental was beautiful and view was gorgeous! Beds were very comfortable. We had coffee and breakfast on the deck every morning before heading to the beach and came back to watch the sunset and then dinner outside. The only downfall was the construction next door - hopefully it doesn’t last too long

It Started Out Great, And Got Better!

From the moment the 4 of us were picked up at the airport and transported to the property, we knew this would be special. We were cheerily greeted by Jovanna from the Property Management Office who showed us the features of the home and answered our questions. The first thing that struck us was the incredible view. As I told my companions, some may get tired of the view of St. Kitts and Nevis to the west, with Kitts serving as part of our sundown photo shooting, but not I. Kitts and Nevis were visible most of the time and served as a wonderful backdrop to the occasional cruise ship and many catamarans in the area. The next thing is the unique property layout. Over the last 30 years or so we have stayed at many VRBO locations I can't recall any having the distinct separation between the common areas (kitchen and living) and sleeping facilities, 3 rooms with en suite bathrooms. This arrangement plus the ample outdoor space gave everyone the luxury of privacy while enjoying the full experience of the property. The infinity pool was a bonus!. We used it almost everyday for a refreshing dip after exploring the island or just to look out over the edge downward to the harbour. If you want an incredible vacation at an incredible location, look no further!

Sunset Paradise

My wife and I along with another couple we frequently travel with just came back from an 8 day stay at the Villa Sunset. This home has spectacular views of Jolly Harbour and of course the sunset. The home is very clean, modern, and well equipped for just about everything you could need. From the day we booked till the day we left the Villa Sunset the communication between Villa Management, Marc and myself was very responsive, professional and refreshing. We have traveled frequently and this is one of the best places we have stayed feeling safe and welcome. We already miss sitting out on the balcony with a glass of wine watching the sunset and being serenaded by the tree frogs. Thank you Marc for sharing your beautiful home with us. We will be back!!! Luxury vacation in Paradise!!

Absolutely amazing stay at the Garvey Family’s Sunset Villa! Super simple check in/check out process, great recommendations on things to do/local eats, and provided a great rental car service! Each room is essentially its own HUGE private master suite with 5 star accommodations!! The views from the deck pool area are phenomenal from sun up to sun down! The kitchen is equipped with anything and everything to cool a 5 course meal especially since the epicurean grocery store is at the bottom of the hill! You will not be disappointed with choosing sunset villa for your stay in Antigua!!

A week in paradise

Villa sunset is just as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. The house is set up with every necessary amenity and the view from the pool area is genuinely rather spectacular at all times of day. We loved the fact that all bedrooms and en suites are just as spacious as each other so no guest feels like they’re loosing out. Next level views

Villa Sunset is absolutely amazing. The impression you get when you enter the property up the steps is incredible. The infinity pool is perfectly situated to view the town, the sunsets, and natural hills. My family was so excited upon arrival, we spent the first two days soaking up the sun and the views while grilling out. This is not just a place to sleep. You could literally spend all your time at this Villa. The beaches and grocery store is a 3 minute drive away, so you get back to this amazing property quickly. Quality family time spent together was achieved every day because we all couldn’t get enough of being in the pool and patio.

Perfect Family Vacation Get-Away

Jolly Harbor is a great place to stay in Antigua, and Villa Sunset is an ideal vacation home. The views were beautiful, and the Villa is well-designed with three private rooms, perfect for a family with adult-age children. The outdoor patios were great for relaxing, and the infinity pool was a crowd favorite. The host and the management staff were very friendly and responsive. The only suggestion we have for visitors is that you may want to forego the rental car and hire taxis during your stay. They are quite reasonable, and it's a lot more fun to let the locals navigate the roads while you enjoy the scenery!

Pictures does not do this place justice. It was everything I never knew I needed and more. It was well equipped and stocked and very clean. There was a cleaner who came by mid stay and cleaned. It is in an ideal location that is quiet and nestled in the hills. All the rooms have picturesque views. It was amazing to see the sun rise and set everyday. I drank wine and relaxed by the infinity pool daily. The hosts were able to facilitate a private dinner for my birthday and that in itself was spectacular. I could go on and on about how amazing and unforgettable this Villa is! I look forward to staying here in the future and HIGHLY recommend.

Annual Sisters Trip

Absolute excellence! Beautifully appointed home. Another annual trip in the books and the home did not disappoint. The homeowner, Marc responded quickly to all questions and concerns. He also went above and beyond to honor a special request I had. A rental car (they can deliver) or car service is needed to get around. The home sits atop a very steep hill but that’s what allows for such great views. Jolly Harbour beach is a 5 minute drive but don’t stop at just that one. I highly recommend this home and would consider it again on my next visit.

Property exactly as described; in fact the view was even better than we expected, truly jaw dropping. Quality of home was very high with plenty of facilities and equipment. Location was very convenient although the only thing to be aware of was the steep hill - its not very far to Jolly Harbour / restaurants etc but I wouldn't want to walk upwards after a good night out ! Booking and liasion process was easy. difficult to find anything other than positive things to say (clearly its an expensive option but it depends on what you are looking for).

Sunset Villa is definitely the best VRBO our family has ever stayed! Everything was was 5 star-- from the home's furnishings to the outstanding view we looked out upon every morning while drinking our coffee to the mesmerizing sunsets every evening. The communication with the owner was excellent and his villa management team was responsive to our asks/needs while we were there the entire 2 weeks. Can't say enough about Sunset Villa- hope to return again in the future!!

Spectacular Villa, Spectacular View

We stayed at Villa Sunset in February 2022 for 7 perfect days! Marc communicated with us on several occasions before turning us over to the property management team (Mitty & Joelle) who were so helpful and responsive to all our needs. The Villa was beautiful, immaculately clean, well stocked kitchen and had the most spectacular view. We would definitely recommend Villa Sunset!

Wonderful stay at this stunning property

We'll begin with the host Marc and villa management who were, without a shadow of a doubt, the best hosts we've ever dealt with. Nothing was too much trouble and Marc was very understanding when I had to move the dates a couple of times due to planning issues. The communication was really clear and very quick responses every time and they were very helpful in arranging covid tests for our friends in the villa for their flight home. Honestly they couldn't have been better so thank you to Marc and the team at villa management. Now the property - AMAZING! It's been said a few times on other reviews however the views really are even more incredible when you're there. Watching the sunset ever night was bliss and it's views that will stay with us forever. The pool is really nice, bigger than the pictures make it look and great have a dip after a long day in the sun or a day round the pool. Even with the beaches in Antigua being so beautiful, the villa still makes you want to miss a beach day so you can have a villa day. The bedrooms are spacious with again stunning views and each has a beautiful bathroom with great showers etc. The lounge area is great for chilling in the evening and the kitchen is fantastic and has all high end appliances and everything you could need to cook every meal there if you wanted. We did however use the BBQ more as it was a high end brand and great BBQ and nice to be able to cook while taking in the view. Spectacular Views!

We just came back from a stay at Villa Sunset. This is a beautiful house. Loved the 3 separate master bedrooms each with there own bathroom. The beds were very comfortable. The view was absolutely gorgeous, hard to capture how beautiful it is in pictures. Owner Marc is very accommodating. You will probably want a rental car. Restaurants and grocery store are close by but it would be difficult to walk up hill(unless you are in great physical shape, lol) Going down was no problem so you could possibly walk down and taxi back. Definitely one of the nicest rental homes we stayed in! We would not hesitate to rent again.

Amazing House and Location

We just returned from a holiday in Antigua and stayed a week at Sunset Villa. The views can’t be beat and the house was clean and had everything you would need. We would highly recommend this house and the location worked out really well for our family. Marc was fantastic and very flexible when we had to update our travel dates; one of the best owners we have worked with on VRBO. Antigua was an amazing island with some of the best beaches we have been to. The driving is a bit tough so I would recommend renting a smaller car to drive around the island. Highly recommend Sunset Villa!

Spectacular stay in paradise!

My wife and I had an amazing week long stay at Sunset Villa for my birthday! My wife's parents joined us during this week in paradise and Marc's place was amazing! The layout was perfect with each suite having its own privacy/space while the common area was great for hanging out during the mornings having tea and relaxing by the pool before heading out for island adventures. The overall views are breathtaking! The villa sits on a private property hillside so we rented a car to get around the town for necessities (groceries, simple activities etc). Taxi is doable (Glenmore Taxi Service is great referral) but recommend car for this location. Location is prime, less then 5min drive to about 5 or 6 beaches with many restaurants in area. About 30min from St John and English Harbor so the rental helped here. Marc and Management were great with assisting on anything we needed with fairly quick turnaround/response time. They also scheduled covid testing which included them coming to the villa for the testing. Overall it was an amazing time - near perfect birthday paradise vacation! We can't wait to visit this beautiful island again while staying at Sunset Villa!

We have been Caribbean lovers since we first took our children there in the early ‘80’s instead of Disneyland. Neither of our children or we have never made it to Disneyland, but we’ve visited just about every island in the beautiful Caribbean. We have been looking the last few years and had narrowed it down to Antigua and one other island. Antigua won hands down! It was the fabulous beaches, the overly friendly Antiguans, the spectacular views, the security of one of the lowest crime rates, the value of the restaurants and handmade purchases, the cleanliness of the island and homely feel of the little towns and villages, the golf courses and the endless activities available…you know where we’re going, we found paradise! A ton of research ensued and endless search for the dream villa ended in Sugar Ridge. Our second trip with in six months we had knew we found home at Villa Sunset and you will too. Certainly the best and most spectacular views of any villa we inspected!

One of the best points of it all is location, location, and location. Jolly Harbor has it all and it’s at the bottom of the hill. We have stayed in different areas of the island and by far Jolly Harbor takes the cake. Beaches, restaurants, endless water sports, grocery and liquor stores, banks, rental cars, cafes, and nightlife are only a minute away.
