'512 Beach House' ist ein modernes 3 Schlafzimmer / 2. 5 Bäder, Haus am Strand mit offenem Grundriss, zu vielen Fenstern zum Zählen und 3 großen Balkonen. Das Haus erstreckt sich über 2 Grundstücke direkt am Strand und bietet einen 360-Grad-Blick auf Strand und Feuchtgebiete. Der Ozean kann von jedem Raum im Haus gesehen werden. Einer unserer Gäste sagte: "Bilder werden diesem Haus nicht gerecht."

Der erste Stock ist ein völlig offener Grundriss. Große Küche mit Inselbestuhlung. Offen für Esszimmer und Wohnbereich. Die Couch kann bei Bedarf zu einem Queen-Size-Schlafsofa ausgezogen werden. Es gibt eine große abgeschirmte Veranda vor der Küche mit einem Esstisch und einer Couch. Ein perfekter Ort, um einen Morgenkaffee zu genießen und die Pelikane über das Haus fliegen zu sehen.

Das Obergeschoss verfügt über 3 Schlafzimmer. Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett und ein eigenes Bad. Das Gästezimmer hat auch ein Kingsize-Bett und teilt sich ein Badezimmer mit dem Schlafraum. Das Schlafzimmer verfügt über 2 Etagenbetten (4 Einzelbetten) und ein Einzelbett, das in ein Kingsize-Bett ausgezogen werden kann. Die unteren Kojen sind für Erwachsene getestet und zugelassen. Um den Komfort der Gäste zu gewährleisten, empfehle ich die oberen Kojen nicht für erwachsene Gäste.

Das Haus ist wunderschön und geräumig und wir verstehen auf jeden Fall die Versuchung, alle Ihre Freunde zum Genießen einzuladen, aber wir müssen jederzeit ein striktes Maximum von 10 Personen (max. 7 Erwachsene) auf dem Grundstück einhalten. Wir erlauben keine Partys oder Versammlungen, bei denen zusätzliche Personen im Eigentum wären. Wir benötigen Namen und Alter für alle Gäste und einen Lichtbildausweis für die Gäste bei der Reservierung.

Das 512 Beach House ist günstig gelegen, nur wenige Minuten von der historischen Stadt Matagorda entfernt. Matagorda ist ein verstecktes Juwel, das seinen Besuchern viele Aktivitäten bietet, darunter Angeln, Vogelbeobachtung, Strandkämmen, Muscheln, Schwimmen, Surfen, Kajakfahren und Sternbeobachtung. Besucher werden feststellen, dass Matagorda ein viel ruhigerer, natürlicherer Ort ist als der größte Teil der texanischen Küste.

Great getaway for a long holiday weekend. Views from the house are even better in real life. This community is “one with nature” given its close proximity to the dunes and the critters who live there, but still worth it.

512 is a very large home that can easily sleep two families of four with beautiful furnishings to make you feel spoiled. There are wonderful views of the beach from every room, and the porches are spacious for a gathering.

Great House to share

Booked this with friends and it turned out perfect. Place is better than the pictures show and it was one of the better stocked kitchens for cooking that I’ve seen. Management was very easy to communicate with and very attentive. They even had a new grill delivered to us out first night to replace the one broken by the previous renters just before it. I would definitely book this house again.

Perfect

Location is perfect, away from the crowds, house is gorgeous, didn’t have any issues with the walk to the beach. The view from the top balcony is amazing. Kids want to make it a tradition every year to stay at 512. The owners were very kind and helpful, and that made the difference.

Great time in Matagorda

We stayed for 5 nights at this great home on the beach. We spent most days just lounging on the beach. We used our vehicles to drive back and forth to the beach. The home is well furnished and has many great decks for time at the house. There is even a screened in porch for when the bugs are bad. We would definitely recommend this house.

Great place except for the mosquitoes

Spacious house, huge kitchen, nice bathrooms! Really enjoyed the screened in porch and balconies and beautiful view. Watched the full moon rise over the water from the balcony. Used the grill a couple times. Picked up shrimp at the recommended shop in town. All enjoyable. The trek to the beach was further than we imagined and the mosquitos on the way were horrible. The only other time I’ve experienced mosquitos like that was in the Florida Everglades during the off season when no one goes there because of the mosquitoes. We began calling it “the mosquito gauntlet”. It was seriously insane. We attempted to drive to the beach instead but with the soft sand we couldn’t risk driving a regular car onto the beach. So if you want to take a shade canopy and chairs and such to the beach be prepared for a hike through water, swarms of mosquitos, big sticker burs and dunes. It’s basically a marsh and then dunes between the house and the beach. Other option is to make sure you have a vehicle that can handle soft sand so you can at least drive around onto the beach to set up your things. Perhaps it’s not as bad at other times of the year. We have had a good amount of rain this Spring.

Excellent beach getaway!

We loved our stay at the 512 Beach House. If you're looking for a nice, quiet, secluded beach getaway this is your place. The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The outdoor patios and balconies were huge, and made for a wonderful space to enjoy the ocean view. While it was a bit chilly and windy due to the time of year, we enjoyed the private walking trail to the beach, and found the beach to be very clean with beautiful sand and as many seashells as you can collect. Our one wish for the property is that there were more "comfy" spaces to sit in the common areas (another couch or some cozy arm chairs would have been fabulous). Overall, we loved it. Abbey was responsive and helpful with all of our questions. We look forward to coming back again!

My family and I enjoyed our stay very much. The long open living area made it easy to be together but still do our own things. The mosquitos between the beach and the house were overwhelming, but the beach was always in view due to the many windows and the gulf-facing deck, so we didn't really feel we were missing out.

Must see to believe!

The photos do not do it justice. The main, dining and kitchen are huge with wonderful lighting (natural and indoor). Main deck as well as both upstair decks are perfect getaways to watch the surf with a glass of wine. Hosts are very attentive and have thought of everything. After 20+ years of going to Matagorda staying at 8 different houses this is definitely the winner. We plan to return for many years to come.

Beautiful large house

This house is huge and very nicely decorated. The kitchen is well stocked with every utensil/pot/pan you will need. The view of the ocean is amazing from all parts of the house! My kids loved the bunk beds and games that were available.

Great, quiet beach!

We were amazed at how great and quiet the beach was even during Memorial Day weekend! The house was AMAZING - felt like we were staying in a high-end hotel! The walk over the dunes to the beach was doable with kids ages 8 and 10! Needed to wear shoes and it helped to have a beach wagon to carry all of our stuff! There is a beach entrance not far where you can drive your car on the beach, but we loved walking over the dunes to our own little slice of the beach! Matagorda has lots of activities - we went ghost crab hunting one night and kayaking one day. Cute little mom and pop type diner not too far away! Perfect spot for a family vacation! We would book again for sure!

I am a native Texan and grew up coming to the Texas coast. As a family, we have traveled all over the world, and this little slice holds a special place in our hearts.
Our family fell in love with Matagorda when our son was only 3 months old. We've been frequent visitors ever since and in 2017 we purchased our dream home. Part of that dream is sharing these memories with other families, such as yours. My husband is an avid fisherman and I can't get enough of the beach. We currently live in Austin and make the quick drive down to Matagorda as frequently as possible. We've found our perfect, peaceful, getaway and we hope you'll feel the same way.

Matagorda is one of only a handful of places in Texas that have both beach and bay access. Matagorda provides an abundance of fishing opportunities for my husband, and an abundance of quiet, beautiful beach for me.

The house is modern, incredibly spacious and open, and has the best views of the beach and the marsh. It spreads out across two beachfront lots. The house has two levels of large balconies to enjoy. It has 42 windows and you can see the ocean from every single room.
