3 generation family vacation

We go someplace every year and this was one of the best. There are 10 of us ranging in age from 77 to 13. There was something for everyone and when we wanted we could all be together. Golf was great, our 18 yr old grandson got his first Hole in One and was able to experience a caddy. Pools were glean and inviting and so many to choose from. They never felt crowded! We hired a chef to cook dinner in our unit one night, Tony, he was fantastic and the food and drink outstanding. We would highly recommend him. We also hired a Marine Biologist to take us snorkling, Vallarta Natours, also excellent. Cristina was our guide and Angel the captain. The location of our unit couldn't have been better. The front desk staff took very good care of us. No request was too great and was always accomplish with a smile. A carafe of coffee was delivered to the room every morning, no additional charge. Jason was very responsive to any of our questions and a great source of information. We would definitely return

Great family holiday experience!

Stayed Xmas to New yeses with our family of seven and it was amazing - we used the spa and golf facilities and everything was perfect. Host had immediate responses to any questions and was very helpful.

Great condo in a Disneyland like experience

The units are amazing with great indoor outdoor space. The resort is huge and beautiful. It’s a 12 min walk to the ocean. Tons of pools, some crowded, some quieter. If you want a huge set of choices in an amazing alternate world this is your place Check in is kind of a zoo. Be prepared for multiple lines and enjoy the weather.

Jason was an extraordinary host!! Not only was he extremely helpful in answering all our questions and concerns in a timely manner, but he gave us some recommendations/tips that made our experience at the Grand Luxxe unforgettable. And the property, AMAZING! Couldn't speak more highly of it. Our family of 8 adults fit so comfortably and still had room to spare. Jason was also very kind to send us a holiday gift basket during our stay, which just goes to show his kindness and gratitude for his guests. Thank you Jason! We highly recommend this property and would certainly stay there again.

Perfect week away for large family. Property with wonderful amenities. Owner is great to deal with

We just returned from a fabulous week at this wonderful property in Nuevo Vallarta. We were a group of 13 in the 4 bdrm unit, ages ranged from 15-69. My sister and I have booked many time shares over the years and we really like the amenities of this property. It is pretty close to the airport which makes for a less hectic travel day. We have been to this resort 3 times but this was the first time at the Luxxe Residence club. The unit was breathtaking. I had actually considered renting a second 2 bedroom unit because I didn't want to be crowded; I'm so glad I didn't. By the time my kids all confirmed they were able to join us the 2 bedrooms were gone. The unit is so spacious that we never felt crowded. It is definitely as nice or better than the pictures displayed. We spent many evenings on the extra large patio with the entire group having a good time. We had dinner at the Azur, Ameca Social Club, Quinto & Tramonto. We enjoyed all of them. Ameca was in our building, so we enjoyed it 3 times over the week. Everyone loved their meals, and there was so much too choose from, we all wanted to go back. The staff treat you really well.We went to the Walmart for some supplies on the first day (beverages, snacks and breakfast items), anything else we needed we purchased from the local shop at the Plaza which is very well stocked. The crepes and the smoothies at the Plaza were regularly enjoyed by our group. Jason the owner was so pleasant to deal with. He is always so responsive. I've already sent him a note to inquiry about a future booking. We cant wait till our next visit.

Absolutely wonderful! Beautiful property with all the right amenities!

This was a wonderful vacation! Everything you need is right on the property! Jason, the owner of the timeshare we rented out, was beyond helpful and was very accommodating for us! My family traveled with a large group, 4 adult couples and 2 kids. The space was huge! So much room to spread out. It was so nice having access to a balcony for each bedroom. The main balcony off of the living room/master bedroom was out of this world! It was massive and perfect for entertaining. The roof top pool was so convenient, and all the other pools on the property were fabulous. The grand luxxe kids club pool area is great for the kiddos. We ventured to the other side of the property/the hotel pools like the grand Mayan I believe, and found they weren't worth it. The tower 1 pool (grand luxxe) was awesome and really fun with ping pong and games! Something to keep in mind: check in is late!! It's not until around 5 or later. This would have been helpful to know before hand. But it is no big deal. We still had access to the roof top pool and the whole resort. It was just a let down when we arrived early in the morning, exhausted from travel, to not get to settle into the room until late. So just be prepared! We just grabbed stuff for the day from our luggage and were perfectly fine. Overall, this was such a wonderful vacation. Picture perfect views. Wonderful food. PUCHASE THE MEAL TICKEts!! They save you so much money! Well worth it. Don't hesitate to book this vacation, just do it! You won't be sorry!

Fantastic Family Resort and Great Owners!

My family of five just returned from a week in the Grand Luxxe at Riviera Maya and we had a fabulous time! The resort was clean, everyone was helpful and the kids loved had a blast - how could they not with all of the pools to choose from and the daily activities. The food was also very good and with the exchange rate, extremely reasonably priced. The owners were a pleasure to deal with and made our stay very easy. They provided all of the information we needed in a timely manner and were very responsive. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Great Family Vacation

Just returned home froma week at the Grand Luxxe. It was great, would definitely recommend it. The unit we stayed in was awesome. Large 3 bedroom as advertised accommodations. The staff was first class. Big property which we liked very much, lots to do.

Review of the Grande Luxxe, Playa del Carmen

Our family of 5 has just returned from a week at the amazing Grande Luxxe property in Playa del Carmen. The resort is situated in a lush setting with several restaurants on the property. The Grande Luxxe 2 bedroom condo was exactly what we had hoped it would be. The condo is beautifully appointed, with a high end kitchen, a large living area, large bedrooms and the best showers and large soaker tub that anyone could ask for. Our balcony had a glorious dunk pool where we could begin our day with a quick dip. The staff of the Grande Luxxe were attentive and willing to do whatever they could to make our stay even more enjoyable. Daily room service and evening turn down kept the condo exceptionally clean and neat. The restaurants on the property are excellent and our family enjoyed all the restaurants we ate at. The Grande Luxxe pool was relaxing and comfortable and has a delicious restaurant, BurgerBar, right in front of the pool area. Overall, The Grande Luxxe exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely recommend this property to anyone who wants to have a luxurious holiday experience in Mexico. The owners of this condo have been a pleasure to rent from and have been tremendously helpful in sharing information about the property and helping us plan our vacation to nearby activities. We would absolutely recommend renting from this owner, as we will again in the future. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful condo with us!

Our family spent a week in paradise, and ended up purchasing this property to enjoy every year. We travel all over the world with our 3 girls, now ages 11, 9, and 5. We ski, snorkel, dive, and climb, but I don't think they have ever had as much fun as our time in the Grand Luxxe. We live in Boston and enjoy a direct flight to Cancun for a quick start to a luxurious vacation!

The Grand Luxxe is so beautiful, it is unimaginable. Our concierge is so attentive, and every detail is attended to for a perfect vacation. We swim a half-mile in connecting pools across the property, and we never have to get out of the water!! Vidanta boasts that they have to largest contiguous pool in North America. The property is on the ocean, so we regularly snorkel, dive, and jet ski right from our beach! We are also minutes from a wealth of family attractions- national parks, ancient Mayan ruins, adventure parks, zip-lining and diving, to name a few!

Our family loves animal adventures. Our girls love to swim with the dolphins and sea turtles. Also on site there is a naturalist program to track endangered sea turtles, as they lay their eggs on the same beach they were born. The hotel staff collect and protect the eggs until the babies hatch, then invite the hotel guests to come to the beach at sunset to release the hatchlings. Our daughters were handed tiny turtle hatchlings and allowed to set them free at sunset into the ocean, to try their fate as their parents did, and one day return to the very same beach to lay their own eggs. It is the experience of a lifetime!
