Historisches und wunderschön restauriertes spanisches Kolonialhaus im Herzen des historischen Viertels der Innenstadt von Mariposa. Nur wenige Schritte entfernt befinden sich die fantastischen Restaurants und einzigartigen Geschäfte in der Innenstadt, die diese Stadt aus der Goldrausch-Zeit zu einem wunderbaren Reiseziel machen.

Genießen Sie eine wunderschöne Fahrt von Mariposa durch den Fluss Canyon auf dem California Scenic Highway 140 nach Yosemite Valley.

Das Haus wurde wunderschön restauriert, wobei die historischen Qualitäten erhalten blieben. Es ist neu eingerichtet und verfügt über drei Schlafzimmer mit Kingsize-Betten. Ein Sonnen- / Spielzimmer bietet zusätzlichen Schlafplatz. Zusätzliche Luftmatratze und ausklappbare Polster sind auf Anfrage ebenfalls erhältlich. Für Köche bietet eine Gourmetküche neue Geräte aus rostfreiem Stahl und verfügt über alle Werkzeuge und Geräte, die für die Zubereitung von Mahlzeiten benötigt werden. Das Esszimmer verfügt über einen ausziehbaren Tisch für bis zu zwölf Personen. Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über einen Gaskamin für Wärme und Atmosphäre sowie einen 64-Zoll-HD-Fernseher mit DirecTV und zwei Liegen, eine Couch und einen Liebessitz. Die Badezimmer wurden komplett mit Granit- und Travertinoberflächen und begehbaren Duschen renoviert.

Der Außenhof ist geräumig und bietet Privatsphäre, nur wenige Schritte von der Innenstadt entfernt. Es gibt zwei Travertin-Tische mit Platz für zwölf Personen und einen Feuerkastentisch, an dem Sie am Ende der Nacht entspannen und S'Mores zubereiten können. Eine neue 120-Jet-Hot-Tube für sieben Personen befindet sich ebenfalls im Innenhof

Alle Bettwäsche und Handtücher werden gestellt und die Küche ist mit den Grundlagen bestückt.

Hiking Trip

The property was excellent for our group of hikers. The kitchen was well-stocked, which made it great for cooking meals at home. I'd happily stay at this property again, and recommend it to others.

Consistently awesome

This is our third stay at this beautiful and lovingly cared for home. We return because of the comfort, cleanliness, style of the home and the great amenities. The house was at a good location. It was walking distance to everything. The features and amenities of the house were spot on plus some more. The host, Brian, was good and we had no issues. I would recommend this house to anyone who visits Mariposa.

Great place to relax after days in Yosemite

This a great place to stay to have the best of both worlds; good food and small town options in Mariposa and a great jumping off point to exploring Yosemite. The house was clean, well stocked with all necessities (including my fave, soft towels and many towels). The hot tub was great after lots of hiking and it was a great place to hang out and be. Highly recommend

All the comforts of home, great stay!

This place was awesome! Well stocked, it had everything you needed, very clean, beautiful property. Great location, about an hour from the gate to Yosemite (with no traffic). We really appreciated the coffee grinder and enjoyed the local coffee beans. Beds were very comfortable.

Gorgeous home with all the amenities

Beautiful and spacious, this home was just perfect as a home base for Yosemite. There is ample room to kick back and relax, 2 separate dining areas outside, and we loved the big hot tub. We also really enjoyed playing pickleball on the sport court. Home is fully equipped with everything you might need and owners are very responsive. The house is also walking distance to restaurants and shops. Loved this place!

Amazing Home & Amazing Hosts

This is our favorite home of all the homes we’ve rented in the US. Brian is super responsive. The kitchen was fully equipped to prepare meals for 6 easily. The hot tub was awesome, as was all of the outdoor seating. The charm of the house is amazing and the location is perfect for Yosemite and Sequoia We will be back.

Lovely home

The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. It sits a short block from downtown with lots of shops and restaurants. It felt safe enough that my teens went and got breakfast on their own. It was a solid 55 mins to the Yosemite gate and 15-20 mins further into the valley. The trade off of the drive was not being stuck living with the hoards of people staying in Yosemite. Worth it imo.

Holiday - Yosemite visit

Brian’s house was the perfect place to stay for us as we wanted to visit the Yosemite park, but at the same time wanted to stay in a town. The house is beautiful and had lots of space. It felt luxurious. Our teens really enjoyed the sports facilities, even though it was quite hot when we were there: the basketball court, where we also played pickle ball and we had a serious table tennis competition going on. Brian was really helpful when we had some questions on using the appliances and even brought us extra ice for the freezer. Thanks for having us, we loved staying at your house.

Favorite Vacation Home!

First of all, Brian and Bruce are the most attentive and accomodating Hosts we have experienced on our many Holiday Family VRBO trips. Then the location being in the quaint town of Mariposa with proximity to Yosemite and snow is wonderful. The spaciousness of the house, the beautiful grounds, the comfortable beds and clean showers, the ping pong and sports court where several of us got our fun and exercise playing pickleball every day, and so many other amenities like hotel quality shower items, games, kitchen supplies and equipment made this home at the top of our list as all time favorite, comfortable and enjoyable homes to stay in for a family Holiday!

Gorgeous property, great location, awesome host

We had such a wonderful stay in this charming and beautifully restored home! The property is simply lovely and in a convenient location to walk into Mariposa while also feeling like a luxurious private retreat. We used it as a "home base" to explore around Yosemite and it was a relaxing space to return to after each day of adventures. The beds are very comfortable, and the house is well-equipped with everything we could need, especially in the kitchen. We also enjoyed the hot tub and my kids loved the sports courts. Best of all, Brian is the most responsive and accommodating host I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Thanks for an excellent stay!

Beautiful Home in a Sweet Town

We had a great time on this property! It was clean and had almost everything we needed. If you are a guest, I’d recommend buying or bringing shampoo/conditioner/body wash because there wasn’t enough for our party if 8 there. The indoor and outdoor spaces are both beautiful, and we had a great time with the host leaving detailed instructions. The only thing I’d recommend is a towel rack for the master bedroom bathroom downstairs, but otherwise it’s a perfect place to stay!

Home Away from Home

This property was far and away the best home rental we have been in. It was not only a beautiful home with lots of character which was tastefully decorated, but it was exceptionally clean. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the utensils and basics we needed to cook up some relaxed vacay meals. The thoughtful additions the hosts provided, (local whole bean coffee to grind for breakfast, a plethora of books on the Yosemite area, to name a couple), made the stay extra special. It was quite hot the first few days of our stay but we still ended up using the hot tub in the late evenings which felt so good after long days hiking. We played card games at the fire table and took advantage of the ping pong table and pickle ball court, as well. I could go on and and on but I will finish by saying we would stay in any property hosted by Brian and Bruce! Not all of our family could make it this trip so we definitely want to come back. Thanks for making our California vacation so memorable and relaxing!

Base camp for adventure

We stayed with friends and our children and had a fantastic time. It is an hour drive to Yosemite and after a long day of hiking this home is just what’s needed to rest up.

Amazing place!

Such an amazing house - beautiful, many top notch amenities, and activities to keep the family busy when we were home after a long day of hiking. Also very convenient to many restaurants. Communication with owners was great and really helpful as we had some concerns with wildfires nearby before our stay.

Beautiful historical home minutes from Yosemite

This home provided the perfect setting for our family during our Yosemite adventure. Brian was helpful with advising us on making a reservation for our visit and making us feel welcome. The home is well equipped from fluffy towels to a kitchen that provided for every need. I highly recommend this beautiful 1934 home to all who seek a spacious place to stay while visiting Yosemite.
