Dieses schöne Haus liegt nur wenige Meter vom majestätischen Pazifik mit dem berühmten Sea Ranch Ocean Front Trail entfernt. Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Sackgasse, ist es der perfekte Ort für eine Familie oder ein paar Freunden zu entspannen und dabei die Schönheit und Ruhe des Meeres Ranch nehmen. Zwei Schlafzimmer mit je einem Doppelbett und einem Roll eingerichtet. Es gibt zwei Badezimmer mit WC, eine durch den Master-Schlafzimmer und das andere neben dem zweiten Schlafzimmer betrat. Annehmlichkeiten, eine voll ausgestattete Küche, Holzkohle Grill, Waschmaschine / Trockner, Direct TV und W-LAN. Es ist eine geschlossene Terrassenbereich um die Vorderseite und Seite des Hauses und eine große Terrasse mit freiem Blick auf das Meer aus der Rückseite. Gäste sind willkommen, die Parkausweise zu verwenden und gelangt zu den drei Clubhäuser im gesamten The Sea Ranch gelegen bietet Tennis, Schwimmen und Saunen. Der hoch gelobte Sea Ranch 18-Loch-Golf Links ist Golfplatz nur wenige Minuten von The Pelican Haus www. searranchgolf. com. The Sea Ranch ist auch berühmt für seine Welt Zugang zu Abalone Tauchen für jene tapferen AB Taucher da draußen!

Lovely stay at Pelican House

Pros: The house is very comfortable and well decorated. If you’re looking for quiet isolation, look no farther! Great walks along the nearby cliff path. Gualala is just north of there and is a fun place to explore. It also has an amazing beach. Con: If you like to cook, we suggest you might want bring your own sauté pan.

Great Location

A 5-minute walk to the bluff trail and great ocean views from the living room and bedrooms. Kitchen had everything you would need to cook - we made 5 days of varied meals .Comfy beds. Just a charming house. fy beds.

Lovely stay

House close to Gualala . We enjoyed the clean one level house with expansive views .Simple but tasteful and comfortable .Two decks, one facing the ocean and another facing a pretty garden with hummingbirds . Two comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen . Rec center with pool and sauna were enjoyable . Also drop in pickleball at Moonraker center. Appreciated the prompt communication with Laura.

Comfortable single story home.

It is difficult to find a single story house in Sea Ranch without stairs. Pelican House is a comfortable, well stocked house with an ocean view that is perfect for a non wheelchair dependent person. It is in a great location close to the Bluff Trail.

Gorgeous location!

Great house! Excellent location! So close to bluff trails. We loved sitting on the large deck relaxing and watching the ocean and wildlife. Even had a fun visit from the sheep grazing. Loved it!

Wonderful house in Sea Ranch!

Our family had such a great time at this lovely house in Sea Ranch! It was nicely decorated, clean, had all the necessary pots/pans/etc for cooking, had a nice little enclosed courtyard (perfect for your dog, if you have one), had a lovely large deck looking out to the gorgeous Pacific Ocean... and was just a few steps from endless strolling on the Bluff Trail! So relaxing to stay there. The host was very responsive and communicative and helpful (she even bought us breakfast when our gas fireplace insert needed repairing... so kind of her!)... it rained the whole time we were there, unfortunately, but still the splendor and magic of Sea Ranch made it pleasant even in stormy wet weather, and the house provided a lovely setting for our family to play lots of games, while looking out at the enormous crashing waves and the wildlife! And only a short drive to any of the 3 rec centers with pools and saunas, and a very short drive to Gualala for groceries or restaurants. Thanks for sharing your wonderful home with us!!

Lovely compact home in a beautiful location

Lovely compact home (2 bedrooms and 2 baths) in a beautiful location. Not right on the water, but close enough to see the ocean from the windows/deck and to hear the waves crashing. The meadow right outside was visited regularly by deer and hawks. Very close to the bluff trail. The house was very clean with well-stocked kitchen appliances, pots and dishes. The common area of living and dining room as small, but comfortable for 3 adults. The little side deck that peeked out into the very pretty garden with hummingbirds was a plus. Please note that if you plan on bringing bikes with you that there is no garage. We would definitely stay here again.

The Quiet Life

We enjoyed a tranquil stay in a beautiful house that mirrors the beauty and peacefulness of Sea Ranch. We woke up every morning to a white tailed kite perching on a favorite shrub, the deer starting another day of vegan eating, and the sound of the surf. Need a break from lawn mowers, weed-whackers, and traffic? This is the place.

Large comfortable home in a beautiful area

We very much enjoyed our stay in this home. It has two large, comfortable bedrooms and a large, cozy living room that fit our two couples plus baby with room to spare. There are numerous walking paths a few steps from the home, and we saw whales, sheep, deer, and seals in our four day stay. We would come back.

Wonderful!

Beautiful smaller 2-bedroom house, perfect for 2 to 4 people. And NO STAIRS! (nice for people with bad knees like myself). Tranquil setting in meadow with ocean view. Well-appointed kitchen, everything you need. Located at north end of Sea Ranch, so you are close to Gualala and grocery stores. Everything was just perfect and as described. Would definitely rent again.

Travelers beware!

We stayed at this property for several days during the cold, rainy winter of 2022. During our stay, the gas fireplace stopped working. This was a huge bummer since the fireplace was the reason we chose this house to celebrate the new year. We immediately informed the owners, via text, that the fireplace stopped working. The owners were prompt in supplying a repair person to come look at it, and they determined the fireplace could not be repaired at that time. We understood that the holidays are difficult to find help and we did not get upset, just disappointed. The owners offered to reimburse us for 1 night of our total stay, which had totaled more than $4k. During the entire affair, the owners were courteous and helpful. But they never made good on the reimbursement. We have corresponded with them for four months now, with me politely reminding them each month to please follow through with the reimbursement they offered. They always say they’ve ‘asked their bookkeeper’ to do it. We understand that these things might take a few weeks to conclude, but four months of promises with no action? So, after more than four months, we can only conclude by their behavior that they are not planning to make good on their offer. Perhaps we are not important enough to them to honor their promises. Travelers: Beware. It’s a nice enough property but if something goes wrong during your stay, the owners don’t seem to care much about their guests.

This home is in a great location - steps from the beautiful Bluff Trail and close to Gualala. The home was very clean, comfortable & spacious with an awesome ocean view!! We hope to stay here again on our next visit to Sea Ranch.

Native to the California Bay Area, Ken and Laura Scheidegger today live in the California Delta where they own a family farm, farmers market and a restaurant. Ken is a PhD in Oceanography and headed the PhD program at Oregon State for many years. The location of The Pelican House offers Ken the perfect setting from which he can enjoy his true love ... the Sea.

Over the years the family has enjoyed The Sea Ranch and all of the joys that come with it. From Ab Diving to Golf ... the Scheideggers have built wonderful memories from their time at The Sea Ranch. The location of The Pelican House is one of the first developed and represents the best that The Sea Ranch has to offer. Busy lives have kept the family from visiting the house and it is time to share with others what they have so enjoyed over the years.

One of the finest locations in Sea Ranch! Only nature lies between you and the beautiful cliffs and majestic ocean of the The Sea Ranch coast. The Ocean Front Hiking Trail is seconds from the front door and the golf course is minutes away. The setting and layout of the property and house allow you to feel as though it is you and the Sea with nothing in between but indigenous grasses, plants, deer, and the occasional fox! Enjoy a cup of tea or glass of wine on the spacious and open deck as you take in your unobstructed view of the ocean. Particularly in March and October, you will most likely see the grand whale migration! Pelicans effortlessly soar above the coastline inspiring a feeling of peace and serenity - we hope you will find this same feeling when you visit The Pelican House.
