Das 4200 sq ft A-Frame Haus erhebt sich 40 'und verfügt über alle Holz-Interieur und massiven runden abgeschrägten Glasfenster für eine optimale Panoramablick. Es gibt einen von Hand gebauten Kamin aus Stein, 2 Lofts, einen Whirlpool, eine Sauna, eine riesige Gourmetküche, 2 Master-Suiten und zwei Schlafzimmer!

Amazingly beautiful house!

So grand from the moment you park your car. Then the inside was HUGE and goegeous! The kitchen is the biggest ive ever been in. The beds are super comfortable, everybody said. Hot tub and sauna did not disappoint and we loved burning a cozy fire in the house every night while we worked a puzzle! Weather didnt really cooperate, but hey, we're all Oregonians so we didnt mind. Thank you for the refreshing, relaxing and enjoyable weekend in luxury!!

Beautiful house

I've stayed at this property around five times now over many years. It's been a favorite for my kids and I for nearly ten years now. It is a beautiful home that is in a remote location and is really everything you could want in a very nice forest retreat location for your family. It has been around four years since our last visit (my daughter's 18th birthday during the COVID-19 pandemic) and as always the house was beautiful and clean for our arrival. We stay in high end hotels many places, but for this type of experience I can't think of a better house.

The kitchen was for sure the most popular place in the house - a lot of eating and drinking - the house was furnished beautifully - and a new leather couch in the living room a bonus. (We stayed last year and the red leather couch was worn out. Glad we saw it in the garage when we played ping pong. Beds were comfortable and the crows nest beds were highly sought after by our grandkids. A great Chalet to stay in with a group!

This property is beautiful and spacious! There were 6 of us staying for a long weekend and we had so much space. The yard is amazing, with a cute little walking trail, lots of seating, and even a hourseshoe pit.

Lovely mount hood cabin. Large enough for our whole family to be very comfortable. WiFi is great for watching football! Love the secluded feel and great atmosphere to relax.

Quintessential PNW vibes

I first saw this place featured on a Netflix show. Was thrilled it was available when we wanted to visit. Tons of space so no one felt crowded. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking amenities. Did not see the ping pong table in the garage until the last day when we were looking for the garbage cans. The hot tub did not disappoint. We did two puzzles and some pieces were missing but that is a common thing with sharing puzzles. The trees were majestic. The sun came through the windows like they were beckoned to do so. Was really nice to have laundry capabilities. Some cleaning supplies were running low but we managed. Would highly recommend!!

Lots of room to spread out. When you deadbolt the door leading out to the deck, you need to get a little pressure on the bottom of the door to seat it right. That's the worst thing we found. Overall we were very happy here. Unlike other places we've stayed, there truly was privacy to be had.

The property was accurate, although sleeping 12 adults was ambitious - it fit 10 comfortably (4 bedrooms and a loft). The location was very convenient to hiking and other things in the Mt. Hood area. It was close to highway 26 but secluded enough to forget you were conveniently located. The amenities were fantastic! The kitchen was fully stocked and had plenty of space for group dinners. The property was clean and well maintained. Nearby there were restaurants and breweries - we weren't for want of anything to do/eat. I would happily recommend this property.

Great family retreat!

My family and I had a great week at the lodge! The kitchen was huge and made it easy to cook large meals for everybody. Everybody enjoyed the hot tub after our hikes. There seemed to be some issues with locking the exterior doors but we weren't too concerned about it based on the location. All in all a great stay and I would for sure go back!

It was the best!!

Reviewer Comments: We took this vacation with our two grown daughters and our sister-in-law, and all of us were in Heaven with this lovely place, we were awed by all of the space, the unique features inside and out. the setting in the woods, the hot tub, the kitchen and dining areas, and we could go on and on! Each bathroom has distinctive baths. The rooms are more than large, with walk in closets, two office areas, and we loved the sauna and hot tub. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need for a group, and we found delicious food at restaurants very close by, if you don't want to cook. For the five of us, we didn't even use the 3rd floor bedroom with two beds in it, and if more room is needed, the living room sofas fold out. The beds were oh so comfy! Each of us were very sad to leave! We have already recommended it to friends! This was more expensive than we have done before, but it was well worth it and it is fit for a crowd!

Does not Disappoint!

TL;DR: theres good reason everyone says they plan to book again! We had 4 families w kids under 5, and we had more than enough room, which is saying something! Of course the place wasnt kid-proofed but thats a given in most places. They kindly went the extra mile to get us a pack'n'play for a family flying in. Directions were spot-on once given to us which is helpful because it is not easily map-able. However, my one critique is that they wouldn't give us any address or location- even when asked and explained why we needed it- until I arrived at the office to get keys. That came without explanation from them, which I'm sure was a good one, but it didnt help the families coming separately from PDX at all, so that was weird. Once at the office, my reception was kind and warm--- great folks (and cute dogs)! Although their trash and hot tub policies are onerous, they made us reassured that the tub was in top condition and we were happy to do our part in its upkeep. My friends all starting planning our 'next trip' there before we'd even left. Thanks for having us!

We soaked in the hot tub, went on hikes, played ping pong, lit a fire and roasted s’mores. We cooked beautiful meals in the kitchen of our dreams, sipped coffee while staring at the beautiful forest out of that two story window. There was so much character and unique detail to this home, I’m confident I didn’t catch everything. I’d come back again for sure!
