AMAZING HOME!

This property is stunning - and well-equipped! We had a mini family reunion here and the house was perfectly suited for making large meals, enjoying the pool / outdoor space, and walking into San Anselmo and Ross for outings. Can't wait to stay here again!

Wonderful Oasis in Ross

This was the perfect place for our daughter and her family to stay in Marin. Beautiful pool, quiet and peaceful property, spacious and comfortable home. The owner is very responsive and helpful! Highly recommend this incredible property!

Truly unique resort-like property

My family had an amazing time at Douglas's home. I feels like you are at a luxury resort, with great outdoor space, and there are so many different areas within the home to hang out. The home was beautifully furnished and hand a really grand feel. Douglas was also super responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again for a group getaway.

Wonderful respite!

Staying a few days at this wonderful home really helped us to feel rejuvenated. We utilized all of the lounging spaces - the living space, the dining table that fit us all for group dinners, the dining table outside, around the outdoor fireplace to make smores, and around the pool. The gorgeous oak trees and the view of Mt Tam were just breathtaking. And the historical home itself, which had been beautifully restored by the owner, was really lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and hope to return!

Family Reunion

We did a family gathering at this property. This was the preferred location to have access to Tiburon and Angel Island. You will not want to leave this house. It is extremely well appointed and is a beautiful, airy space to rejuvenate yourself. I was late getting to check-in so didn’t get to meet Doug, but he was kind enough to walk through the house over the phone and answer any questions I had via text.

Architecture gem in Ross

Beautiful house and land situated in the hills of Ross. The house was designed wonderfully- inside and out. Many amenities such as pool, hot tubs, suana, washer/dryer and a kitchen with everything you might need. It does not have a microwave and there is only 1 tv in tv room. (Good to know if traveling with children). The neighborhood is very safe and there are cute towns nearby to get whatever you might need.

Most seamless, welcoming, fun and family-friendly experience

Wow! I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay at Doug’s property. The home is sprawling with 4 bedrooms on the same floor and a guest suite below. Jungle gym and trampoline for kids, 2 hot tubs, and a huge heated pool. The neighborhood is so friendly, many beautiful hikes and neighborhood walks to take. Doug greeted us at check-in, gave us a tour and stayed in touch the whole time. This is such a kid-friendly property- tons of board games, Children’s books for all ages and genders. The check out process left zero burden on our family. Doug is a truly generous host, who goes far out of his way to make this a resort like experience. I’d stay here over a hotel any day. Just book this place, it is a GEM.

Spectacular Home!

Looking to have a party? This is the right home for you. Lots of indoor and outdoor space, pool, hot tub, sauna, ping pong, we utilized everything. Doug is a very laid back host who was extremely responsive to any questions we had. The only two things we missed were a microwave and hairdryer, but we made do without. Thanks for opening up your home to us!

We found this property extra special. We have stayed in dozens of homes and this was one of the very top ones. Wondrous view and vibe. Highly recommended. And the owners are super. Wonderful getaway!

The kids (3-14 years old) and adults had a wonderful time during our stay. Lots of room to spread out and everyone enjoyed the pool everyday of our stay. Amazing view of Mt. Tam and it felt very secluded. Doug was pleasant and helpful. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Everything we wanted, needed, and more!

Me and my girlfriends loved our stay here! We are mostly moms and some preggers, but all love a good time. We stayed 4 days/3 nights and never left. Hired a private chef and had mobile masseuses come to pamper us, enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. The kitchen had everything we needed (no microwave, but oven worked just as good)! Douglas was super responsive and very welcoming. Made check-in and check-out easy and relaxing. We would definitely recommend staying here and would do so again in a heartbeat!

Unbelievable Beauty and Relaxation!

This is quite possibly the most beautiful home we have ever seen - which is saying a lot as we have stayed many wonderful places. The owner describes it as a mini Aman Resort - and that is accurate. Paradise closer to home!

I was looking for a vacation property closer to home with a great view that had a pool & hot tub and came across this property. Gorgeous place and it was perfect for our family vacation. Everyone including the 1.5 year old had a wonderful time. We didn't feel the need to leave the property at all. Douglas was very warm and friendly to communicate with and was prompt with his response. Thank you Douglas for letting us rent your home my family & I had a wonderful time.

Gorgeous Marin home

This incredible Ross Valley property is both luxurious and cozy - a rare combination that is hard to give up! The location feels private and serene, yet offers easy access to some of Marin's best trails and shops. We're locals that were trying to escape San Francisco for the weekend, but for out-of-town guests, SF is just a short drive away (as is wine country). Honestly, the property is so fabulous and accommodating, you don't even need to venture out. We had a few friends/kids over in the backyard one day, and everyone loved it... it's amazingly family friendly. Douglas was very communicative and made sure all of our questions were answered. We can't wait to take another 'staycation' here again. Thanks Douglas!

Everything about this house is incredible. The home is amazing, the pool makes you feel like you are at a resort, and the outdoor eating area is perfect. Doug was also so easy to work with and incredibly responsive. It was great fun for adults and kids alike!

Absolutely incredible!

This house surpassed all our expectations! everything is even prettier and more amazing in person!! Doug was a fabulous host and made us feel right at home. Private estate, but close enough to grocery stores and fun restaurants in town. Ride to Napa valley wasnt that bad either. Highly recommend this house!!
