Wenn wir nicht von Familien genutzt werden, wird unser Haus für Gebetsgruppen, Jugendgruppen, Exerzitien in der Kirche sowie für Ruhe- und Erneuerungsarbeit für diejenigen genutzt, die Zeit brauchen. Durch Ihren Aufenthalt bei MVF helfen Ihre Spenden denen, die wirklich auf R & R angewiesen sind.
Dieses Haus ist der perfekte Ort für Ihren Familienurlaub. Wenn Sie es vorziehen, aus der Stadt zu fliehen und in aller Ruhe ein Buch zu lesen, während Sie am Feuer sitzen, oder Sie auf der Suche nach einem Abenteuer sind, ist dieses Haus IHR Ort für einen fantastischen Urlaub! Von den erstaunlichen Weingütern, vom Bauernhof bis zum Tisch, Restaurants, Wanderwege, Radwege, Wasserfallforscher, Naturliebhaber, Fischer und antike Jäger, es ist für jeden etwas dabei.

Unser Haus liegt 6 Meilen von der malerischen Stadt Helen, GA, und 11 Meilen vom Sautee Nacoochee Valley entfernt. Nur eine kurze Autofahrt weiter und Sie haben Clarkesville, Lake Burton, Batesville und Clayton. Haben wir schon erwähnt, dass wir auch im Herzen von Weinland sind ?! Wenn Sie die erstaunlichen Weingüter der Umgebung erkunden möchten, holt Sie der Weinbus bei Ihnen zu Hause ab! Dieses Haus ist ein wahres Juwel und befindet sich in einer hervorragenden Lage, um Zugang zu vielen Orten im Nordosten von Georgia zu erhalten.

Dieses Haus bietet die Einstellung für Familiengedächtnis! Mit der großen Küche / Ess- / Wohnkombination fühlen Sie sich während Ihres Aufenthalts wie zu Hause. Wenn Sie sich für einen Aufenthalt entscheiden, finden Sie Direct TV, großartiges WLAN, einen Whirlpool und einen gemütlichen Kamin. Es gibt auch eine Feuerstelle hinten. Wenn Sie lieber draußen sind, gibt es unendlich viele Aktivitäten in der Umgebung, einschließlich (aber nicht beschränkt auf) fantastische Weingüter (sehen Sie sich den Reisebus an), Ziplining, Wandern, Radfahren, Schwimmen, tolle Farm-to-Table-Restaurants Angeln (kann einen Guide mieten), ATV-Strecken, Reiten, Antiquitätengeschäfte und die Liste geht weiter. Es war einmal unser geliebtes Familienheim, und jetzt haben wir es für Sie geöffnet! Dieses Haus verfügt über 3 große Schlafzimmer, jedes mit einem eigenen Bad und ein zusätzliches Loft mit zwei großen XL-Betten. Schlaf bequem 10 und vier weitere auf ausziehbaren Queen-Schlafsofas. Es wurde für Familien gebaut, also bringen Sie die Crew mit und genießen Sie Ihre Zeit in den Bergen.

Cozy clean cottage farmhouse

We had a lovely stay. Our 4 adults and two kids for a family spring break trip. It was so nice to each have our own full bathroom, as well as two separate living areas to all have space. We loved the hot tub and front swings. Great property! Thank you!

Overall clean and quiet

This listing is exactly as described… BUT EVEN BETTER! We had every single thing that we needed at the house. Cabinets even labeled for easy finding! It was spotless when we got there. Jamie was very communicative and we were even able to check in early! The house is very spacious. Our kids loved the “game room”. This was their hideout for the week. Hot tub was extremely easy to use. Helen was an easy ride down, less than 10 minutes. The KWIK SAK gas station was able to fulfill the needs of things we needed quickly. Overall, amazing home in a great area for peace and comfort with a little adventure all around!

Beautiful House and Great Location

This house was perfect for my family. It’s beautiful, the front porch and swing is amazing. The hot tub area and flat top grill is nice. We have a 10 month old so it was great having a high chair available and a gate on the stairs there. The property is nice. The fire pit in the backyard was fantastic. My 5 year old never ate so many s’mores. The location is an easy drive to Helen. It only takes about 10 minutes. It’s a great place to stay.

Great location

Awesome location to downtown Helen and other hiking/exploring spots. Great to have such a clean cozy home that is also dog friendly. Jamie was very helpful by reaching out to make sure all of our expectations were met. We have been coming to Helen for October fest every year and we will definitely be booking this home again in the future!

Beautiful Mountain Property!

My family and I really enjoyed this beautiful home. The home offers a georgeous view of the blue ridge mountains from its spacious front porch. The nights were quite and the drive to Helen was short. The kitchen had everything we needed. The hot tub in the screened in back porch was a favorite.

Perfect for Our Large Group

We stayed for a long weekend with a "larger" group of friends, layout of house & sleeping arrangements were perfect for us. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch most of the time when we were at the house. The house is 6 miles outside of Helen which was perfect too. We did not have internet service the entire weekend. Upon arrival I contacted the owners who had to reach out to the service providers, was told it would be back up in 2 hours. However, our phones never connected to the internet. Also, per check out instructions was instructed to take all trash outside to the cans and lock up. We walked around the property and never found any trash cans. We did not want to just leave the trash at the house so we took all of it with us in our car! I did contact the owner again to let them know we left, and never had internet service & couldn't find the trash cans it has been 2 days now and I have not received a message back. Overall house was great and we would consider again for our group. Thank you!

Amazing House

We stayed at this beautiful home with 2 other couples during the Valentine’s Day/President’s Day weekend. This was our first time staying at this amazing house. I’ve stayed at several in the area over the last 15 years and this one was by far one of the best! The owner was so responsive and helpful. If you are looking for a house to stay at while visiting the North Georgia area, look no further. We will definitely be looking it up when we visit again!

The house is beautiful and in a private setting. My family really enjoyed it.

This was a family vacation with our daughter, son-in-law and two small grandchildren. The house was child friendly, even had a highchair and play set outside. The girls loved it and did not want to leave. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was close to all the attractions we wanted to visit. We will come again.

Spacious Mountain Home

Our family enjoyed the spacious North Georgia Mountain stay - plenty of room for the 5 of us. We had considerable amount of rain, but we were able to enjoy a lot of hiking, fishing, and local town foraging so to speak. We really enjoyed the swing and glider on the front porch, the hot tub, and quiet sounds of the forest surrounding us. Quite a retreat from our hectic lives. We enjoyed Anna Ruby Falls, Unicoi State Park, Brasstown Bald, Amicalola Falls, Tallulah Gorge, and day trips to Dahlonega. Michelle Malone performed an amazing musical performance at the Crimson Moon restaurant/coffee shop. I would check out their musical lineup - great show! We were flying in so we could not bring a lot with us, but we do recommend a few heavy quilts to be available for better sleeping, a sound system, and the ability to watch movies via Netflix for those quiet rainy days.

Hi! I'm Jamie. I grew up in the mountains and built this home in 2008. When a business opportunity came up in Florida we decided to pack up our family of seven and the leave the mountains. Since we couldn't bare to part with our home; we now share it with others when we aren't enjoying it ourselves.

We love this house because we built it for family gatherings and memory making. We have a large family with five children, and we had them in mind during planning. The rooms upstairs were originally built as a "boys" room and a "girls" room. You have to visit to guess which one! There is also a loft that once served as our children's playroom which now holds a double bed.

Our favorite thing to do is gather around the kitchen island cooking our favorite meals. We always visit the Nacoochee Farm on our way in to gather eggs and sausage (when in stock). When we are here we feel time slow down and the busyness of life slips away. Our mornings are spent on the front porch with coffee, and our nights are found by the fireplace with family and long conversations.

This is not your typical all-wood cabin, but rather a home that is timeless and native to the area. You will find these type homes all over NE Georgia. Many are not available as rental, but we have made this one available to share.
While it isn't covered in wood from floor to ceiling, we have made every effort to make sure your stay is warm and cozy with a mountain farmhouse touch! You will notice we are updating room by room, so check back often for updates as we make progress!
