We stay in Vail or Beaver Creek 4 or 5 weeks a year, we live in the Denver metro area and are very familiar with both resorts. This unit is out dated, the reservation process was cumbersome, they kept on emailing me that our reservation was going to be cancelled. No phone calls, just emails and test messages. When I inquired what was the problem, no answer. The check in process was not defined in the agreement. It said go to Vail to the real estate office. Driving in Vail village is a pain, went there. Oh, you can just go to the property at 9 Vail Road, I'll let them know you are on your way, didn't need to come here. Where is that defined in the agreement? Major hassle. Got checked in. Unit is 1 bedroom with kitchen. Kitchen is poorly equipped. Basics, no pans, no salt and pepper. No spatula or large spoons for stirring pasta sauce. Really? Ad says 1/3 mile walk to Gondola #1. It's .55 miles according to iphone. Not a big difference? It is when you are walking in ski boots and carrying skis. No shuttle no other options to ski. Has pool and hot tub. Pool isn't open. Hot tub has hot water but the jets don't work. The unit is for sale, basically dis-interested owner and poor property management. We have been coming to the Vail valley for over 10 years. Have literally spent 1/4 the money and had a much better property, better amenities, better check in experience. Wouldn't return and would suggest others look at other options.
