Amazing Location

We rented this location to attend a family funeral so we didn’t get to enjoy much of the area, but it was beautiful and the lake was great for a canoe ride. The house was well stocked. There’s plenty of space. The host was very responsive would definitely recommend.

Great week at the lake!!

We loved staying here!! The house was great, just enough space for all of us to have some separation but still be together!! The only comment I would make is the walk to and from the lake to the house was a bit hard, especially once our feet were wet from the lake. Bring good shoes to wear down there!! Overall though everything was wonderful!!

Lovely Cabin - Great Host

This was the second time we've stayed in Emma's home. The cabin is beautiful, the location lovely and Emma responded quickly to a problem we had that was not any fault of hers. We had a wonderful week and would highly recommend this home to anyone... As long as they didn't want to reserve it for the date I wanted it :)

Beautiful lake view from cabin

My husband and my son and his fiancé had a lovely week at the cabin with our two dogs. The kitchen is very well equipped, and the dining table is roomy. The view of the lake from the large deck is lovely. Access to the lake was a bit difficult (it was kind of steep and, in damp weather, slick). But once we figured out how to keep the dogs on the deck, we all enjoyed our time outside. The air conditioning was helpful when it got warm out.

Great vacation

We were very happy with our stay and the owner was great with communications. Surrounding area great for families or if you just want to relax. The overall could have been a 5, but decided to make it a little lower due to the extreme number of spiders and cobwebs upon arrival. Overall a beautiful place and would recommend it.

Always a memorable vacation

Our family has been vacationing here for five years now. We look forward to it all year and it never disappoints. The three levels of the house are perfect for our group which includes six adults and two older teens. Each year there are a few improvements to the property and Emma is excellent at communicating with us. We are so thankful for her sharing her home with us and the memories we make there.

Lake Retreat

This property is a great base from which to take advantage of hiking and other outings in New Hampshire. Enjoyed the kayaks and canoe as well as the fire pit!

Holiday getaway

While our stay was cut short by some unfortunate weather, we had a lovely visit to the cabin for the holidays. The cabin was very clean and festively decorated for our arrival. We had no issues communicating with the hosts through the weather situation and they were very gracious and fair throughout. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Fantastic Fall Retreat

The property was everything we had hoped it would be - comfortable "woodsy" living space, 3 private bedrooms with adjacent bathrooms, an outdoor fire ring (s'mores were delicious), and even kayaks for the lake. We had a terrific time, and the fall leaves were spectacular. Emma was great to work with, quick to communicate, and very accommodating to our needs. Our stay was all-around wonderful.

Perfection

We arrived on a Saturday, the drive to the cabin was beautiful. When we arrived and opened the door we were very pleased. The place was clean and open. The water views from all 3 decks were so serene. We had fires down by the water and enjoyed just looking out. Emma was very responsive to any questions we had. We went kayaking and saw ducks on the water, we saw a beaver and many turkey families. We also enjoyed quiet evenings cooking on the grill and sitting outside. We are going to book our next vacation at Emma’s cottage because of that home feeling we got as soon as we arrived. Can’t wait for next year to come. Colleen M

Rustic Lakefront Log Cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay in August. Emma is great with friendly communication. Highlights were s'mores around the fire pit, the lake beach nearby, the swimming hole with waterfall and many hiking opportunities. We also went to Littleton for for a day of strolling and shopping and ate at the Shilling Brewery.

Another great vacation week

We have been renting Emma’s property for a family summer getaway for a few years now, and we are never disappointed! Emma is accommodating and fantastic to communicate with. The location is great - you can sit on the dock and enjoy the view, kayaks or fishing, or venture off to the beach area a short drive away. Each year we head home thankful to have had a place like this to enjoy a little downtime, some laughs, and to reconnect with each other.

Fantastic Winter Escape

We had such a lovely time at this property for Christmas. Everything was covered with snow and it snowed on Xmas day! Emma was super communicative and nice and told us everything we needed to know. There’s a Shaw’s grocery 10 mins away for all your food needs. We had a lovely time there and enjoyed all the house had to offer. Would love to stay again!

Great- and much needed- family time!

This property was so perfect for our family to take a few days off of the school and activities hustle that three kids bring. Emma was the best- since it was Thanksgiving we had so many questions about kitchen supplies and she not only answered everything right away but also provided us with an early check-in and late check-out. The house is immaculate with everything you need for a relaxing special time with your family- fireplace, walks around the lake, seclusion- and convenience to stores and small towns to explore. We cannot wait to stay there gain!

Emma was amazing, great communication !! House was just perfect for my family they had such an excellent time, the views and the lake surrounding this property are spectacular, I did sunrise and sunset kayaking, we went hiking etc, this places was very clean and everything in it worked properly, it’s a magic place !!! Wonderful Use of Space!

The property is beautiful and the multiple decks are a great place to host or get away and hang. The kayaks are a blast and while we were there in October, the wood burning stove got plenty of use. We plan to do this trip annually and will 100% be considering Emma's property again!
