Great Location

Great Location within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. Great view of the gulf. Negatives: They turn back the refrigerator and it takes overnight to cool down before you can use it. Be prepared to make a Walmart run as very little is provided in the unit if you're going to do any cooking. The living room furniture is aged to the point that it's uncomfortable.

Short weekend

For a short weekend at the beach and the Wharf, this condo was the perfect location. Easily walkable to great family friendly restaurants and a short drive to OWA when the weather wasn't great for a beach day. The condo was clean and the photos were spot-on. We didn't need much service but the service was accessible and helpful as well.

Spring break getaway

Me, the wife, and two daughters (5 years and 7 months) had a blast. Like how the hangout is so close for me and the wife to get food and drinks. Also the pink pony hub is real close, they just have a long wait. We don’t drink so going and grabbing virgin pina coladas and daiquiris to run back to the pool and room is real easy. Beach access is super nice too. You’re literally on the beach. We really enjoyed the stay. Warning though if you don’t like music being played while you’re on the balcony due to the hangout. But when you close the doors you don’t hear it. Didn’t bother us one bit but I know how some people can be about that.

Great Vibe!

The condo was cute and the view amazing!! This was perfect for a couple or small family. Very quick access to the beach and close to some shops for fun stuff. There are two restaurants practically on the property. Good times all the way around! Don’t miss out on this one!

Nice break from winter

We really enjoyed our time at Gulf Shores. The VRBO was in a great location - close to restaurants and shopping, but quiet. Also, really near the state park where we hiked and biked. We loved walking out to the beach!

Comfortable and Convenient

This condo is in a great location, just outside the state park and near all the restaurants. It has direct access to the beach. It has a balcony overlooking the beach, so it has a great view. The bedroom and bathroom are a little small but we didn’t need anything fancier. Overall, we had a very nice stay.

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay and wished we had booked longer. Brett/Robinson’s texted us during our stay and checked on how things were going and quickly answered any questions. We will definitely use them again. Check in was easy, they send you a door code and our room was ready a couple of hours early. The condo had its pros and cons all depending on your preferences. The Pros; it very convenient and walking distance to several places to eat or souvenir shop and even a dollar general a couple blocks away. Chair/Umbrella rental on the beach. Plenty of parking. Pretty quiet and relaxing. Cons; Small pool and no hot tub which is my fault for assuming from the pictures. No bathroom by the pool, you have to go to your room. Skillet was size of a small saucer. (Cooks 1 piece of bacon cut in half at a time) yes it’s that small …LOL Two wash cloths for 5 Days so we had to buy some. Pink Pony sign is blinding if you like to sit on balcony at night, they never turn it off. I’d choose a room that’s not behind it.

No service at all!!

I was advised our room would be cleaned/ towels changed out between nights. We stayed 2 nights. When we got back to our room the second day, the room had not been cleaned and dirty towels had not been changed. I called the office 3 different times over 20 minute period and no answer. I had to call a different location to find out why our room had not been cleaned. No explanation or remedy offered. They didn’t even offer to bring us clean towels. We had to go get them if we wanted them. I even messaged on VRBO and received NO response. I guess it didn’t matter since they already had my money.

We enjoyed our stay. Perfect location and staff was great. Only issues we had were the dishwasher was broken and not able to be fixed and there was only one small skillet making it difficult to cook meals.

Perfect location

This property couldn’t have been in a better location. Right next door to the hangout, and walking Distance to a ton of other spots. Check in was easy. Beach chair rental was a breeze (do it the day before as you can’t reserve online the day of). AC worked GREAT, which isn’t always the case with some of these condos. I will definitely be staying here again!

My stay

My stay was absolutely horrible!! There is not enough carts so we had to use 4 grocery buggies they had to load and unload our belongings. The security or whoever they are had front desk called on us 4 times for apparently smoking,which by the way, we were not. As a matter of fact we would go down to the area in 2 p that they have for that. Other people were complaining about the Too. One of the security guards openly admitted to me and my husband he smokes weed. And I’m pretty sure that’s what I kept smelling the whole time I was there. Wish I had better news bc we loved. the room and air in it was the best of anywhere my family has stayed. Perfect location and beach view but my family will never stay there again

Property wasn't bad. Great views. It was hot when we went and the ac worked great so that was a plus. Elevators sucked. Functionality was fine but there's only 2 elevators and for the property size it's not enough. Al in all I would recommend it

Great Location but there are some Cons

We checked in Thursday evening. My husband is big into sports & noticed that the TVs in both living room & bedroom were not capable of streaming. They were only available for cable/satellite. It was mentioned in the ad, but we found out from a neighbor on floor 5 that they had all the streaming apps since they have smart TVs. Bummer! We had to go buy a Firestick to stream some live sports games. You’re also responsible for providing your own dish soap - they give you a sponge & one packet of dishwashing detergent, but no dish soap? Found that a bit odd. Since we cooked for several meals, I had to go out and buy dish soap. No salt or pepper with the condo as well. The elevators have no A/C and are pretty slow considering there’s only two for the whole property. Being on floor 3, we just took the stairs a lot instead. If you have a beach tent, be prepared to be squished in on busier days (Saturday for sure), because they confine the tents all in one area to the left rear side of the beach. If you put your tent anywhere else, the beach patrol will get on to you. Many of us found out the hard way. Ugh. We felt that for the price point, it wasn’t worth it. However, don’t let my review deter you. It was very clean and offered walking distance to several stores & restaurants. We prefer the FL beaches, though, since there’s no tent restrictions and usually less packed during busy season.
