Unser 2 Badezimmer, 2 Schlafzimmer, allein mit zwei Sofas, die zu Queensize-Betten ausklappen, ist perfekt für Ihren nächsten Kurzurlaub. Alleinreisende oder Gruppen bis zu 8 Personen finden in diesem Haus alles, was Sie brauchen. Ein kurzer Spaziergang von 3 Minuten zum Strand, eine gut ausgestattete Küche, ein umzäunter Garten und vieles mehr.

Am Ende des Blocks gibt es einen Kaffeewagen mit einer großen Auswahl an Getränken und direkt daneben einen Imbisswagen mit tollen Hotdogs !!! Beides ist ein Muss, wenn Sie im The Beacon übernachten.

Das Herz der Stadt ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang die Straße hinauf, aber Sie können in der Regel einen Parkplatz finden, wenn Sie fahren möchten. Es gibt Bahnfahrten, wunderbare Süßwarenläden und natürlich süße kleine Läden auf und ab der Hauptstraße.

Wenn Sie für den Tag fertig sind, können Sie zurück zum Haus gehen und einen schönen Blick auf die Berge vom Achterdeck genießen!

Fantastic!

The location is perfect, the house is cute, fun, clean and filled with anything you could need! There's a large kennel, food water bowls, even leashes. If you forgot something it is very likely already here! We really hate to leave are already looking forward to coming back. Very quiet neighborhood and hummingbirds to watch.

Fam weekend getaway

My husband, two small kids, and I had the best time at Katie’s place. We loved the living room, especially the cozy oversized armchair. The beds were comfy and the place was even decorated for the holidays! We would definitely stay again.

Dog lovers paradise

Overall, we had a wonderful stay! Fully equipped with everything we could have possibly needed for our pups! Especially loved the fully fenced in yard and dog toy basket! Very well stocked with kid games, toys, and movies. The XL kennel upstairs was perfect for our large lab. All the towels we could find were stained and crusty feeling. Would definitely recommend replacing them with a fresh set! Many dishes we pulled out of the cabinets were dirty with crusty food. We ended up having to wash everything before we used it. The silverware organizer was really dirty and even had dog food in it. We found long dark hairs stuck in the sheets of both beds. They appeared clean and were probably trapped there in the laundry process. We didn’t love that the living room tv had no streaming options, only cable and dvds. Aside from the cleanliness issues, we had a great stay! Would definitely stay here again, just hope they up their cleaning game with the kitchen and towels.

After Christmas De-stress

We super enjoyed our 3 overnight stay. Started off with straightforward house instructions, the house had everything we needed including really nice extras for our dog! The yard was wonderful, there were towels, treats, baggies, dishes, & even a XLarge crate upstairs! The extra touches didnt stop there. We loved the Christmas decor, the comfy beds, clean bathrooms (w/ all the necessities incase you forgot yours), and overall a really clean & quiet house. Would definitely stay again! Thank you so much guys for providing such a beautiful peaceful place. Happy holidays everyone!

Epic spur of the moment vacation

This is absolutely the ideal home for a family stay. A great dining table for meals, and a well stocked kitchen. Roomy living area with games and such in case of a ( very likely) rainy day. Even our pup was stoked! A nifty little pet area with bowls , toys and even spare poo bags in case you forget ! Everything was so clean and prepped for anything you need. The yard was fantastic with a firepit a BBq area and a large deck. I could say so much more! I was pleasantly surprised in the quick response from owners and everything was communicated so well as we had made this plan last minute ! Rockaway is a neat, small town and we enjoyed the shops, candy store and very near beach access.

Good stay only two issues

Overall, our stay was good. We did find two issues. The first was simple. The lamp in the downstairs bedroom has a broken on/off switch. The second was the bedding in the downstairs bedroom had been washed in something with an overwhelmingly strong fragrance. We had to find bedding that was not scented and remake the bed.

April in Oregon

Spent four days in Rockaway Beach. Even though the weather was rainy and cool we enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was clean and well stocked with the items needed for a carefree stay. The location has easy access to the beach and is within walking distance to stores and restaurants. Being able to bring our dog along with us on the trip was a defining factor in selecting this property. We would definitely consider staying here again should we decide to visit Rockaway in the future.

Plenty of Room

Really liked the place. Couldn't get the blue ray/dvd player to work which is too bad as they have a great selection to choose from. Maybe some kind of instructions would be helpful. There are two plugins in the kitchen and the one where the coffee maker is located does not work, had to move it to the only other plug in near the counters. They do have a large dog kennel in the upstairs master bedroom that really came in handy as we couldn't bring ours, no room in the car. We had a great time.

Home away from home

This property was perfect for our family. Our toddlers loved all the bubbles, color supplies and movie options. They also thought the dog crate upstairs made the perfect fort. :) we were very happy with our stay and look forward to coming back next year.

Great Visit

We loved our stay in Rockaway Beach. The house is centrally located; it was easy to walk to food or the beach. The house was very clean. The kitchen was full of dishes, silverware, cookware, etc. which sometimes isn't the case. The house was well stocked with linens, blankets, towels, pillows and everything you need to be comfortable. The seating was comfortable except for the dining room chairs. The house was perfect for families traveling with dogs. The upstairs bed was very soft, the downstairs bed was more firm. The kitchen and bathrooms were a bit outdated, but clean and well maintained.

Great family trip with dogs

The house was a great set up for family fun and dogs. We had dinner with friends and games at the table, movies with our immediate family in the living room and walk to the beach. With only one of the bedrooms upstairs, it was great for our old dog who couldn’t make it up the stairs. He missed out on nothing! Thank you! My 11 y/o son said it was one of his favorite trips ever !

Great location and quiet.

The house is in a great location, only about 2.5 blocks from the beach. In a quiet little neighborhood. The house itself didn’t look like it had been cleaned very well though. My friends found dog hair in the pull out bed and there was dirt on counters and in the bathroom floors. Other than that it was a pleasant stay. Communication with owners was very good.

Hello! My husband and I are born and raised Oregonians! As a child I spent many days and nights at the beach with my grandparents at their home in Waldport. I still hold those memories close to my heart. When my husband and I were married we found ourselves pulled to the beach time and time again. It has been a dream of ours to have a little place at the beach and be able make lifelong memories with our two girls.

We just LOVE Rockaway! We have been coming here for almost 10 years and find it to be the perfect little beach town. Cute little shops, great seafood, an amazing deep beach, and a lovely community of people. Only 2 hours from Portland it's quick and beautiful drive.
