Oakley Ocean View Kauai Start am 6. Loch des Makai Golfplatz!

Diese entspannende, individuelle Hause wurde 1987 erbaut und ist gut mit einem einzigartigen Design und erstaunlichen Blick auf das Meer ausgestattet. Das Haus liegt auf dem 6. Loch des Makai Golf Course und doch im Herzen des regen Wald ist!

Wir haben Wale im Spätwinter bis Frühling auf dem Balkon gesehen! Der Kilauea Light House (eine kurze Autofahrt entfernt) hat Walbeobachtungen sowie unglaubliche Vogelbeobachtung Stationen!

Es ist schwierig, die ruhige Schönheit und unglaubliche Blüten, die dieses Haus zu zieren zu beschreiben! Der Blick auf die Berge vom Haus entfernt ist der Ort der "regenreichsten Ort der Erde" und die Regenbögen sind unglaublich.

Das Obergeschoss König Schlafzimmer mit Sitzecke, Veranda und Badewanne mit Blick auf die Berge, den Golfplatz und das Meer. Die nächste Stufe nach unten verfügt über eine "California King 'Schlafzimmer mit Doppeldusche und Veranda.

Das Wohnzimmer, Esszimmer, Küche und Veranda an der Außenseite (wo der Blick auf das Meer ist erstaunlich) und "California King" Zimmer befinden sich auf der Hauptebene.

Die untere Ebene verfügt über zwei Schlafzimmer, eines mit einem Doppelbett und ein Bad / Dusche und das andere Schlafzimmer hat zwei Einzelbetten mit Bad / Wanne / Dusche. Dieses Niveau hat auch einen Unterhaltungsbereich mit einem Flachbild-TV, einen Billardtisch und Spieltisch. Es gibt auch 2 neue Doppel Euro Lounge Schlaf / Sofas und 2 Einzel Futons.

Der Whirlpool im Freien sitzt auf dem Deck unter den hohen Baum ist gegenüber dem Untergeschoss mit zwei Einzelbetten.

** Dieses Haus wurde vor kurzem gestrichen worden (innen und außen) mit neuen Geräten (einschließlich neuer Kühlschrank, Backofen / Herd, Mikrowelle, Waschmaschine und Trockner und Kaffeemaschine) Gartenmöbel, Armaturen, Bildschirme, Landschaft Verbesserungen und ein paar nette Updates. Es gibt zwei neue "Pack and Plays", (eines mit einem "Wickeltisch"), Hochstuhl, 2 Kindersitzerhöhung und 2 Sicherheitstore. **

Private perfection

Our family of six with four teenage boys could not have asked for more. Beautiful views with the privacy of a home rather than a condo/resort. Easy access to Hanalei for surfing. We saw people doing yoga on the golf course from our room and joined up for the next class. Rooms were spacious. The pool table was a game changer for the boys. It is an older house so we told the kids to treat it like a grandma - with gentle love:) So many personal comforts/details (golf calendar, seating for sunsets, comfortable master bed). Thank you for a wonderful home base during an amazing holiday!

Beautiful scenery and spacious house

Our family really enjoyed our stay at the Oakley's House. I was stunned by the beautiful views from the house. The beds were really comfortable as well. We also really enjoyed the game room. We had no trouble finding all the essentials we needed in the kitchen and appreciated all the additional items they had to use for cooking. It was a really perfect stay and would love to go back some day!!

Location and view!

What a wonderful vacation house! Beautiful view and the location was perfect. Our large group loved the outdoor decks, large kitchen and living area and the feel of a true Hawaiian home. Check in and communication could not have been easier . We would definitely stay here again.

Great home for our family trip to Kauai

Originally we planned to rent two condo units in Princeville to celebrate our 40th anniversary with our family (my wife & I, our two kids and their families for total of 10). Then we discovered the Oakley house. It was perfect! Home was spacious with several large areas where kids could play and adults visit. Kitchen was well supplied. Beach toys were perfect. Loved the views. Watching sunset from hot tub was wonderful. I highly recommend.

Coworker and Friend Trip!!

My coworkers and I are convinced that you cannot find a better place to stay than at the Oakley House! We had the best time soaking in the views in the morning and exploring the island all day. Graduation Trip/Anniversary Trip

My little brother had graduated high school and wanted to go on a trip with his friends. We were able to use this property as a Graduation Trip for my brother and his friends and an Anniversary Trip for our parents. The location is perfect, amazing views of the sunsets, and just a walk away from Queens Bath and a short drive to either Hideaway Beach and Hanalei Bay. We used the pool table at least every day, as well as the jacuzzi. You will not regret renting this property!

Fantastic Large Home for All Generations

We loved our stay! I would stay there again and would recommend to anyone. Especially large families and groups with various ages. It was great to come home from a day at the beach or snorkeling and everyone could have their own space to relax. -Well equipped kitchen (including spices) and personal hygiene/health closet -Response time with Dean and Susan was always quick -Wicker furniture throughout the hours felt authentic for the island -Great selection of games and island books -Location- walking distance from Queen's Bath and minutes of driving distance for multiple shops and beaches -Beach supplies were perfect for every age Beach towels Sand toys Buggy boards Snorkeling -Washer and dryer major perk -Three floors with multiple separate areas provided the entire family (three generations) their own space

House was spacious and accommodated our family of 9 comfortably. Views from the living room , lanai and master bedroom were spectacular…overlooking the golf course and the ocean below. However there are a Couple things to note. House is pretty dated and firniture in living room is very old and one of the tables and chairs had done obvious damage. The loungers on the lanai were so uncomfortable, and felt like something was jabbing your back when you lay on it. Fridge water and ice was not working, which was not very convenient, and it was apparently in that state for a while (per the handyman) My request to the owners is to invest a little money , as you have a beautiful property and it will really enhance the overall experience for your renters.

Views! Views! Views!

We enjoyed out stay at the Oakley home in Princeville. The views are incredible -- watched whales surfacing from the kitchen and lanai on a regular basis. Princeville is about an 45 minute drive from the airport and Lihue. It worked out well for us since we spent most of our time on the North shore, but was a hike for the couple of times that we ventured south. The house has lot of room and with four bedrooms, our party of 8 had plenty of private sleeping quarters. The pool table was a nice evening activity after the day at the beach. It was a bit of a challenge; however, for everyone to hang out in the living room together as there was not enough seating for 8 people. The house is dated with many items in need of repair. The internet was also a challenge when everyone was connected. Also, there is no A/C (we knew this before hand). Since we were visiting in January, it was fine with the exception of one day when it was pretty uncomfortable in the house. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and can't wait to come back to Hawaii!

This property is located with one of the best views on Kauai. Read the directions closely because the house in front has the same street number and in the dark we didn't see the side road to get down to the house. It is very well equipped and has all the beach supplies you need.

View to die for!

Had a great stay in Princeville! Location is great with easy walk to Queens Bath! What an amazing place. The house had everything we needed and was big enough for our group to get together or spread out! Since it was a bit difficult to get to Hanalei due to the mud slide and resulting road closures, we utilized the kitchen a lot! And there was everything you could need! We even hired a local chef Juan Saenz to prepare a traditional Hawaiian meal for us! It was delicious! Would love to return and would highly recommend this house!

FANTASTIC THANKSGIVING

Aloha! What a relaxing and memorable way to spend the holidays with family. The Oakley property is a spacious home for our group of 12. It has amazing views for rainbow sightings, bird watching, and we all enjoyed staring at the ocean from the lanais while sipping our beverages. Susan, our host, was excellent in communication, and the house was well stocked for staying in or heading out. The lockbox was a little tricky, but we got in eventually, after a quick call to the property manager, who was so gracious. All in all, we enjoyed the Oakley House and it made for some great family memories.

Beautiful views in Kauai

This property is as well situated as you would want . Lots of room , beautiful views .Plenty of room for family. Issues were quickly resolved , although disappointed with the cleanliness initially of the hot tub , dirty , no chlorine.The grill was great . room to cook for 7 adults .Kitchen was well supplied. Master bedroom upstairs tv did not work , and no cable .Was replaced during our stay with a new Roku TV .Wi-Fi needs to be boosted as it does not completely reach upstairs . Some bedrooms needed clean sheets , which we rewashed .Screens need to be replaced around the home .The pool table cue sticks were replaced also during our visit . So with that said ,I would be remiss not to say how reactive Susan and Jan were .Kauai is beautiful, sitting on the balcony was spectacular ,especially under the stars . Proximity to Princeville, Hanalei, and access to shopping and restaurants were perfect. If we were to return and needed a home for our family ,we would probably come back . You cannot beat the location

Best possible location; but beware

This property is in the most beautiful location with views that change daily and are rarely less than fantastic. The house itself is spacious and provides excellent facilities for sleep and play; with access to golf, beaches (check out Princeville Hotel) and all the other activities on the North shore. With few exceptions, the home is well appointed for cooking and entertaining. On its face and as presented on the VRBO website this is a fantastic property. However, be aware that the home has no air-conditioning. Although many homes in Hawaii are not air-conditioned, I was surprised to find a commercial offering to lack the convenience. Our rental was in July and was confounded by the fact that the trade-winds had diminished to nothing. This presented two problems: by 3:00 pm the house was unbearably hot and flying bugs swarmed into the property (even making sure doors were closed did not help) resulting in certain areas such as window sills cluttered with dead or dying bugs. Although many fans were provided, they simply did not cut the heat in the home. We finally learned to retreat to the driveway in the shade as the best place to get a breeze and escape the heat. Evening cocktails and meals were usually taken there as the home would remain hot until 7-8 pm. The bugs were a separate issue as we were told that the previous tenant had left the doors open resulting in bugs able to freely enter the home. Dead bugs would fall from above into our food as we prepared or ate in the kitchen. In addition, we needed to regularly sweep up bugs from the floor and furniture. The grill provided is nothing more than a small personal grill which cannot accommodate the amount of fish or meat that one would need to grill for the members of your party. We were also very disappointed to find that the hot tub was a cesspool that we were told was not working for months before our arrival. My last check of the listing three months after our visit, still listed the hot tub as a working amenity. Be aware that the "cleaning" deposit is nothing more than additional rent. We spent a great deal of time cleaning up the home before we left. When I followed up to find out when I would receive my deposit, I was eventually told that the amount was paid to the cleaners after our visit. Forget the hot tub and pray for the trades!

Beautiful place, Great View and Location. However, these are the problems we found with this property. 1. Roof leaked into master bedroom onto bed. Slept on couch that night until things dried out. Repair service had advised owner earlier that that skylight needed repair. 2. Very small 2 patty grill that didn't operate 3. Insects through out home. Finally, we purchased spray to bring this problem under some control 4. Master bath, very poor lighting 5. No paper supply provided 6. Kitchen, plenty of cupboards, but no place to put any groceries. 7. No hair dryer 8. No shampoo and bath soaps

When we built our home in 1986 our grandchildren, Chris (7) and Brianne (5) 'helped' us, and we are now proud great- grandparents! Gary is a retired manufacturer and twin engine Cessna pilot and JoAnn is an artist and dietitian. 'The growing number of great-grand children 'keep us young' and always amazed.'

We had the opportunity to purchase the land that overlooks the ocean, has amazing mountain views as well as the fact that the home is located on the 6th hole of the Makai golf course! It is within walking distance of the Princeville Center, and just down the street from the 1 Hotel and beaches. Also the infamous 'Queen's Bath' is right around the corner in this quiet and peaceful neighborhood.

Our home is very unique with some nice "updates". The upper and lower levels are perfect for entertaining and can accommodate groups of all sizes. There are incredible flowers and lush vegetation being in the rain forest. We are next to the golf course, have the ocean view and are in a cozy neighborhood just a few houses from Queen's Bath. We have recently given our home a "new " look with a fresh coat of paint inside and out, new appliances, outdoor furniture, fixtures, screens, and more!

We have noticed that everyone arriving on the island are completely different upon leaving Kauai. When they leave they all have the 'shuffle' and are so relaxed. This is a family friendly home and the "panoramic" ocean view is incredible!

The design of the house is unique, open and spacious, and the stars at night are amazing! Sitting on the lanai is the best place to watch the amazing and always unique sunrises and sunsets!
