Es bietet alles auf Ihrer Liste von Must-Haves: historischer Charme, moderner Komfort und eine äußerst günstige Lage in Das Herz des historischen Capitol Hill, neben dem Stanton Park, ist nur einen Block vom Senat, dem Capitol, der Library of Congress, dem Supreme Court, Geschäften, Restaurants und Whole Foods entfernt.

Das Penthouse befindet sich auf der dritten Ebene und bietet Platz für 6 Erwachsene mit 2 Schlafzimmern, 1 Badezimmer und einem Queensize-Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer. Die Lage ist nur wenige Gehminuten von allem entfernt, was Sie brauchen und sehen wollen: National Mall, Whole Foods, H Street, Trader Joe's und Lincoln Park. Es gibt auch zwei U-Bahn-Stationen, die innerhalb von 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar sind (Eastern Market und Union Station). und mehrere Bushaltestellen innerhalb eines Blocks. Es gibt auch mehrere Busreisefirmen, die bei Union Station beginnen und die ich sehr empfehlen kann.

Dies ist eine gut etablierte enge Nachbarschaft mit vielen Senatoren, Familien, Hundeparks, alten viktorianischen Häusern und von Bäumen gesäumten Straßen. Der Eastern Market, die Barracks Row (8. Straße) und der H Street Corridor sind mit Restaurants und großartigen Geschäften überflutet. The 2nd bedroom bed was difficukt to get out and in if you have 2 in the bed. No paper towels or paper napkins. TV is roku. The biggest challange was taking our luggage up the stairs to the 2nd floor. .it was tough.Allwerstruggled

Just Adequate
The bed in the back bedroom was really two mattresses on a frame rather than a mattress on a bedspring or one mattress on a platform. As such, it rolled and quaked with every turn. It was bad enough that my adult son came into my room and slept there on top of the couch. This was hardly what we intended in paying for a two bedroom place. This is an apartment that could with a few extra touches and maybe a little attention from a handyman could be charming. But the sliding door between the front room and dining room doesn’t slide and screams in its protest to being moved. From the plastic kitchen table and chairs to the thinning cow hide on the floor, furnishings are super cheap. All of this being said, the apt is in a safe, charming and walkable neighborhood. We made it work.

Lovely Neighborhood
Quaint, clean, traditional brownstone located in an adorable neighborhood. Close to local transportation and walkable to some sight-seeing. We felt completely safe walking home at night with children. Great shower and beds. No napkins or paper towels so if you're doing any meals there, you might want to pick that up. We would definitely stay there again.

A capital place in Capitol Hill
Perfect place! Minutes from the train station and the Capitol. We were there during some of the coldest weather on recent record, and the owner was helpful turning up the heat and providing space heaters. Responsive, accessible landlord was a great comfort during the inclement weather Fully stocked kitchen was a big help as we were nearly snowed in! a market, great restaurants, pubs and amenities (nails, etc) all just steps away - lyft/uber low cost to many attractions Not wheelchair accessible -- otherwise - a charming, conveniently located winner w/ great hosts!

Excellent location
Comfortable for two couples (only one bathroom so you have to be okay with that). There is a door on the living room with the other bed so it is basically a two bedroom. Quiet, convenient, nice neighborhood. A pleasant place to spend some days in DC.

Don't want you in their place, just want your $59
1. Their listing SPECIFICALLY ADVERTISES FREE PARKING AS A "GETCHYA". 2. They then specifically have their listing set up (which no vrbo listing I have seen in the past FIFTEEN years has done) to give you the "choice" to pay a ridiculous non-refundable insurance fee of $59 (on top of their $133 cleaning and admin fees) in case they c l a i m there is anything left out of place, OR a $1,000 deposit. You must choose one; and with that system, it's clear they intend to keep your money, so of course you're going to choose handing over another $59 to them rather than risk more. 3. Then -- AFTER YOU HAVE BOOKED -- they send ridiculous instructions on hoops to jump through to get parking pass; something renters clearly have had issues with in the past (as they do not want to lift a finger / be put out of their way assisting their client). And, 4. IF YOU DARE ASK / QUESTION (not follow the militaristic instructions)... They cancel your reservation at 10 p.m. the night before your family trip. Best part: We ended up staying at a fantastic place, for less $$$ (even with losing their garnered $59 insurance fee, which seemingly is their goal/game), in a far better neighborhood. We had a wonderful trip, because we didn't have to deal with these guys. STAY AWAY.

Potential to be excellent, needs some TLC
Pros: The property is in a great location, in a cool neighborhood not far from all the major attractions. It had everything we needed for our family of four: comfy beds, nice linens, basic bathroom and kitchen necessities, air conditioning. Cons: The kitchen could use some more storage space, shelves, and more utensils (we found exactly four spoons) in order to make it a more user-friendly space. Microwave on top of the fridge = not convenient. I would NOT recommend this property based on a shockingly negative and unprofessional interaction with the property manager. He had been very responsive and helpful up to that point. After that we felt very unsafe and couldn't wait to leave.

We were visiting a friend for a couple of days & this was perfect for our stay. We were within walking distance of her house & all of the sites we wanted to hit. Close to Capital & convenient to walk to mall. We loved the character of it being an old house- so neat! Immediate conversation through text about a potential need but ended up being nothing- still he came by to check to be certain if we needed anything Perfect short trip. If we are in D.C. again we will definitely stay here again.

Nice apartment in a great location
This apartment was very nice - well laid out, clean, spacious and very nicely decorated. It's a quiet, very residential neighborhood that's convenient to the Capitol and the Mall. The advertised "loft space" is just a bed in the living room but it was fine for our needs.
