"Freshwater Cove" ist eine wunderschön gelegene Eigentumswohnung in Harbour Village. Amenities for the win!

This is the second time we have stayed in these condos and the actual place is the side note both times. The indoor/outdoor pool, the playground, the marina, the beach, etc all make this place worth it. The condo was clean and spacious, but it was just place to sleep.

4 days on Manistee, Harbor Village

We had a very nice stay. Finally, the bad reviews were taken seriously. The drapes and window blinds were changed out....huge difference. They got rid of alot of clutter stuff. The bed spreads were changed out, huge difference. The unit seemed cleaner from last time we were there. Harbor Village is a great location for everything Manistee and surrounding areas. We would definitely stay there again....in thus unit. Once last comment....ALL the faucets, especially the main shower head need to be changed out. I am sure there is a built up calcium and mineral debris. Water pressure us very slow, that could be the cause. But other than that, it was a nice stay. Thank you.

That unit itself is actually nice. It has everything you may need, including washer and dryer. Great location to beach and downtown. But...here is bad part. The owner is NOT actually keeping the unit up. The carpet is filthy. The beds are way over due to be changed out. And so are the sheets and covers. The towels are very old and worn out, some with holes. The furniture is old and very worn out. There is not enough lighting in bedrooms...needs lamps and bedside tables. And, for the love of God, please, please invest in some window coverings, or blinds. Every room has broken blinds and mish mash curtains. Had to put up newspaper in one bedroom so at night you one couldn't see in. It is REALLY BAD. Also, this is the second time in this unit...we stayed here two years ago and gave same review. Nothing has changed. The internet and TV were out for two days until the rental company could get someone out to change the modem. My husband watched his tv on his phone for two days!! The only way I would stay here again is if there were no other place available during time needed. Or if I knew that all updates were done. Sorry, owner, you are just going to screw yourself. Put some money back into this unit, just not into your own pockets.

Great location- terrible upkeep

loved the property and condo itself, but the carpet is filthy, coffee pot had mold, patio also moldy. OLD creepy bedding. Decor and placing needs major word. Foot stool total garbage ... all ripped up. Two lamps that do not work. All blinds are messed up curtain rod falling off the wall in the 2nd room . Coffee pot and iron are not auto shut off very dangerous and should not ne in a rental period. Would love to stay in another well keept unit and would appreciate my cleaning fee retured as I had to bring my own bedding and sanitize the coffee pot, clean the patio and all light fixtures were grosse . Its pretty sad that for the price of rental you can't even make any updates.. Also the inside pool has green bottom and sand in it. Would be excellent if it you cared about your guests at all!

Terrible stay, terrible customer service, terrible condo.

The property is not as described. The shower head in the second bathroom was broken, the mattress in the second bedroom was completely broken and had to be repaired per the maintenance representative, there were stains on the sheets and headboard that appeared to be bodily fluids, and the carpet was sticking up in the living room and second bedroom and was a trip hazard. The living room has marks/holes in the walls and fluid stains, looking like someone ran into the wall and spilled their drink on it. There's a pleather ottoman that was in poor condition. Property management didn't reply to my messages until the day before we had to check out, didn't offer an air mattress, and couldn't guarantee a refund for the cleaning fee, saying it was up to a separate company to handle. In addition, it took almost three weeks to receive a refund. There was also no pool fob provided, which was supposed to be included in our stay. I normally don't leave bad reviews, but the customer service was so terrible (talked to almost 10 different people over the course of 3 days), the condo was filthy, I had terrible sleep the entire stay along with back and neck pain, and they did not attempt to fully refund me for my stay. I only received a partial refund. I would never go back.

The unit really is very nice and clean. Everything you could want for a comfortable stay. Great location to everything, including the beach. Also, first floor so that helps with luggage and groceries. But....a few comments that I would suggest to the owner. Please invest in some quality and nice window coverings. Aside from all being a mish mosh of coverings now, they really darkened the unit. And, half of them are broke. It takes away from how nice the unit is. Also, new mattresses are in desperate need of replacement. They are sagging terribly. Also, the last day of our stay the TV and cable went out. Husband enjoys watching news and tv at the end of the day.

Spacious unit with excellent location, a quick walk to the 5th avenue beach and lighthouse. Right next door to a large indoor pool and fitness center, and smaller outdoor pool nearby. Good amenities in the unit, including fully stocked kitchen. Couple of gripes - noisy A/C that made a squealing sound, lack of blackout curtains/shades, and mattresses that were too soft. Otherwise, a great choice for a family vacation.

Avoid Unsalted Vacations

We picked this property because of the community indoor pool and hottub. We booked this property on May 8 for a stay of May 11-14. Once arrived we found the pool and hottub was closed for maintenance and had been for some time. The pool and hottub are heavily promoted in the marketing of the property, There were no indications that pool and hottub were down. After several communications with Unsalted Vacations and several followups they offered us a refund of 5% of the stay. We found that unsatisfactory. Also the electronic entry battery failed are we were locked out of the property for several hours. The property itself was clean and in a good location. Unsalted Vacations misleading advertising, poor communication, and lack of adequate response to remedy a situation ruined the stay for us.

This location was great. It was neat and clean and near the beautiful sunsets of Lake Michigan. We spent the week relaxing and swimming. We would rent here agains.

the property was adequate. not high end. had to replace smoke detector battery so it didnt chirp all night. there was a short in lamp cord by master bed. furniture was low quality. kitchen table legs are loose and wobble there was messy kids hand prints all over the fireplace glass when we arrived. it still was an ok property not sure if we would rent again thanks

This was a great property. It was clean, perfectly located with a view of the Harbor and the Lake. It’s floor plan was nice & open with the bedrooms still being private. We loved it!

You are on your own if issues arrive here. Office is 1.5 hours away. 2/3 of mattresss were unusable. Air conditioner was randomly loud and mgmt knows about this per earlier reviews and. I thing done. Pool entry fob missing and solution was to wait for last guests to overnite Tony’s. We got it mid pm on last day there. Several closets seemed to be “owner” locked alas it was poor craftsmanship and high humidity that kept us from discovering laundry and game/ air Mattress closets until last day when swelling of doors went down. Wonderful area and town avoid this property until Vrbo holds owner/property management accountable

Was not at all as advertised.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For starters, the description of this property is very misleading. It says it has two queen beds, but they are full sized. One of the two is outdated and sagging severely. Both beds need to be completely replaced, and if you aren’t going to have queen beds, then they should change their listing. The listing also says that it’s a fully functioning kitchen. That couldn’t be further from the truth. We had planned to cook at least one meal a day there, and there was hardly anything available for us to use. Mismatched pots and pans, 5 forks for a house that says it sleeps 6 people, no strainer or colander, no serving style dishes at all, etc.... It was a joke. There was a bad (possibly pet urine) smell as soon as you walk into the place. There is another smell (foul water) coming from the laundry area. I’m assuming there is some sort of drain issue in there. Everything about this property from the dishes, to the decor, the linens, the towels, the furniture, the floor rugs, you name it, was all thrown together. Everything seemed worn out and like a cast off or after thought. There were multiple lightbulbs burned out throughout the place. Several of which we replaced ourselves just so we wouldn’t be in the dark. The AC unit makes an awful screeching noise that sounds like an alarm going off. We planned for 2 of our 6 to sleep on the sofa sleeper. We pulled it open the first night and it was completely dry rotted and fell apart in our hands. We called the property manager at 10:00 pm our FIRST night there and the issue wasn’t resolved until after 6:00 pm TWO DAYS LATER. They DID bring in a brand new couch, but we had people with nowhere to sleep for two days. That’s completely unacceptable. They gave us 10% off our stay, which wouldn’t even cover a two night hotel stay for the guests who had no bed. I could go on and on, but you get the idea. Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. Enjoy Harbor Village. Will not stay in Freshwater Cove ever again. Microwave didn’t work. Kitchen pans dingy and gross. Not enough silverware to get through meals so having to wash by hand or run the dishwasher constantly. Kitchen table chairs very unsturdy and need replaced. Cleanliness overall was not that great. Shower heads in baths not good. Towels were in need of replacing.The washer and dryer were fabulous. Squeaking noise from water pipes or something from upstairs? Noise at times even in the middle of the night from that. Annoying. We have stayed in several places in Harbor Village. We will be back, but not to this one. The overall experience was great. How we; there were a few things in the unit that was not up to standard. The tub water was green the entire stay. There were loud drilling noises early in the morning and the microwave was broken.

Great rental property! Quiet and close to the beach. Property management company was prompt and friendly when addressing our concerns. I would have liked to have known the pools were closed before we got there. Only complaint for the property, however, our trip was still great. Would recommend this rental property.
