Wir haben eine erstaunliche Hale für Ihren tropischen Paradiesurlaub. Dieses saubere, malerische, tropische Hotel ist der perfekte Ort, um die Ostseite von Hawaii zu erkunden. Egal, ob Sie gerne wandern, Vulkane erkunden, Wasserfälle, Schnorcheln, Kajak fahren oder was auch immer Sie mögen, dieses Hale ist der perfekte Ort, um nach Hause zu kommen, um sich zu entspannen, zu grillen und sich von einem Tag voller Erkundungen auf Big Island zu erholen. Wir bieten eine voll ausgestattete Küche, Grill, Waschmaschine Trockner, 1 King Schlafzimmer, 1 Queen Schlafzimmer, 1 Badezimmer mit WC in der Waschküche im Carport. Wir haben eine neue Außendusche für Sie installiert. Die Liegenschaft befindet sich auf fast einem Viertel Hektar tropischer Pflanzen, Palmen, Avocados und Bananen. Das Haus liegt von der Straße zurück. Es ist nur 7 Blocks vom Meer entfernt. 1/4 Meile. Erkunden Sie die Stadt Pahoa mit sehr guten Restaurants, einem jeden Sonntag stattfindenden Bauernmarkt, dem Lebensmittelgeschäft Malama und der nur 10 km entfernten Tankstelle. Wir haben einen Mindestaufenthalt von 3 Nächten, maximaler Aufenthalt von 14 Tagen.

Unsere Gegend ist sehr malerisch, tropisch, alttraditionell Hawaii. Erwarten Sie nicht Waikiki oder sogar Kailua-Kona. Es gibt wunderschöne Fahrten zu den Stränden von Black Sands, zum optionalen Kahena Beach und zum Wednesday Night Uncle Roberts.

Hilo hat viele gute Restaurants. Richardson's Beach in Hilo ist großartig zum Schnorcheln und Onekahakaha Beach ist großartig für Familien, einschließlich kleiner Kinder. Coconut Island ist ein Muss. Diese Seite der Insel hat eine wunderschöne Landschaft und freundliche Menschen mit dem Aloha-Geist!

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus

Wir hatten leider nur drei Tage in diesem tollen Haus, die wir aber sehr genossen haben. Das Haus hat wirklich alles was man braucht. In unserem Fall sogar mehr als man braucht nämlich ein zweites Schlafzimmer. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer ist sehr stimmig, alles passt zusammen. Das Wohnzimmer ist sehr geräumig und in der Küche kann man auch für mehrere Personen kochen. Die Terrasse bietet ausreichend Platz für ein üppiges BBQ. In den wärmeren Monaten könnte die fehlende Klimaanlage ein Problem werden, aber wir sind mit den Ventilatoren gut zurechtgekommen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Great Location

We have been to the Pahoa area before and this house is conveniently located close to town, area shopping and restaurants. The setting is decidedly "rainforest" which makes for a very relaxed setting. The front porch is nice for sitting outside either during the day or evening. Jerry the owner is very easy to work with and the house is completely as described. I know some reviews have noted sounds from frogs and chickens. We really had no problem with this and it adds to the charm of the area. We would definitely go back on a future trip.

Hawaii Life

The cottage is located in a residential area and within a jungle like landscape. The frog noise (sounded like a bird chirping) never bothered us. The house is fully airconditioned, so no windows need to be opened. Everything is "as was pictured' and described. Very convenient to a shopping area with a very nice market. Immediate response to our two questions. Property is 35mins from Hilo except during rush hour - it can take an hour. During your stay, make sure you take a drive along the "Military Road", a rainforest along a beautiful coastline. Convenient to visit Volcano National park. Parking is covered and on a concrete slab. Neighborhood is pleasant, quiet and family oriented. This place is a Gem.

Very quiet, clean location and great communication with owner.

We spent the bulk of our stay on the Big Island here. Jerry provided very detailed check in instructions and was very responsive to any questions we had throughout our stay. Place was very clean which is a big deal for me. Internet is strong which kept the teenagers quiet - always a plus. The Roku allowed my wife and I catch up on shows from the 90's when the day was done. The location, house and communication with Jerry was top notch. Can't recommend the place enough. Also, a nice lookout point at the end of the road, a mile or two away. Definitely worth a return now that I know about Kohala Coffee and Malama Market in Pahoa. That said, it was a little farther out than I expected - but that's more on me not translating distance into drive times. Where I live 100 km (60 miles) equals an hour. Not so in Hawaii. That's not a criticism but it does highlight the need to adjust the internal metrics you may have when you think about driveling around the Islands. Traffic to and from Hilo can be a bit of a bear. But then again, that seemed to be anywhere on the island from what we saw.

Great place to explore Big Island Beauty

We stayed three nights while exploring the Volcano National Park, Mauna Kea and the Waterfalls. The house had everything we needed , the beds were comfortable and the outdoor space and the Lanai are absolutely gorgeous!

Absolutely Amazing Place

We found the house to be very clean and very comfortable for the 3 of us. We spent our mornings and evenings on the lanai listening to the sounds of nature. The carport was protecting us from rain when we got in/off the car. The addition of A/C to each room was a big plus. We loved everything about this place and definitely would like to return back in the future :)

Peaceful and perfect

We were incredibly happy with this home. It had everything we needed. Loved having air conditioning. It was clean. Beds were very comfortable. We personally loved tge sounds of the frogs. And we did not have any issues as some stated with roosters but the host has ear plugs in bathroom. We howrver did not need them. Slept wonderful. Will definately stay here again when we come back.

Great location in Puna

The cottage was a great home base for our stay on the Hilo side. The park is a beautiful spot for sunset and wave watching. We really appreciated the outdoor shower and extra bathroom with laundry. Pahoa is fairly close for getting supplies. Would recommend.

Puna Getaway

This is a well-kept spacious place in a lush quiet subdivision--well, quiet in a traffic and safety sense but full of chickens and coqui frogs so not exactly QUIET. But those sounds didn't bother us at all and we never felt like we needed to use the earplugs that were thoughtfully provided by the host. Fully equipped kitchen, one indoor bathroom and one garage/outdoor bathroom, access to washer and dryer. Plentiful towels, bedding, board games, dishes, and even beach equipment. The host provided a great binder full of recommendations, area history and dining menus. We visited in June and the heat was stifling indoors when we arrived but with windows open and fans running it was comfortable. We had a small glitch checking in but messaged the host and he got back to us right away to solve the problem. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and felt very welcome and at ease there. We would stay there again if in the area.

Tropical stay

Very nice cozy home with everything you need. Very well maintained and private. We stayed end of May so it was a bit hot during the day. Cooled off at night and there are ceiling fans. I would definitely stay here again but probably in the cooler months.

great extended stay property

This property is the best set up property for extended stay that we have stayed in in the last four or five years we have been going to the Big Island. The furniture is comfortable, the cooking facilities leave nothing to be desired, it is spacious, neat and clean. The house in in a nice neighborhood. Our only slight frustration was that when we walked down to the ocean, we had to walk by several ugly dogs yanking at their chains as we walked by. This began a couple blocks from the house, and of course that is out of the property owners control. The property owners were easy to contact, and made sure that everything was going well.

Comfortable, clean, and roomy

The house is well appointed with kitchen items and linens. It was great to have enough space to spread out and relax. All rooms are well furnished. We didn't make use if the front porch or grill, but it was nice to know they were available. The covered carport was very appreciated with all if the winter rain we experienced. Unlike others, we actually really liked the sound if the coqui frogs at night. However, it was the crowing roosters right outside the bedroom windows starting at midnight and lasting through the early hours that nearly made us insane. A small flock was roosting in the trees at the side if the house. We managed to chase them away for the next four nights by diligently running them off the property each evening, but we had to keep our eyes open and make sure the flock didn't return just so we could get sleep. It is obvious that the feral chickens are a neighborhood-wide problem and I have no idea how the locals deal with them daily. There are earplugs in the bathroom, but they are completely ineffective against the roosters crowing so close to the house. Another small inconvenience was the distance if the house from Hilo-especially during the morning and evening commutes for the locals. It takes about 45 minutes to get into Hilo so you absolutely need a car and lots if patience. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the house, especially the convenience if a full kitchen and large fridge. The property is well maintained and clean, and spacious for our family of 3.

Perfect get-away

The property is extremely well kept. Stayed in the fall (November) when the weather was wonderful to have windows open and fans blowing. Lovely shaded property with the wildlife around (coqui frogs and chickens) taking you away form the city life. I would stay again.
