Expectations fully met. Very clean. Spacious Livingroom-Kitchen with a beautiful view.

We enjoyed our stay at Pelican Point very much. It is the perfect spot to relax and to explore the Monteray and Santa Cruz area.

Perfect weekend getaway to the beach

A great condo in a wonderful location. Condo itself is in great condition and kitchen has everything you could need for cooking. Condo is on the third floor (hence the nice view of the ocean) but it isn't an issue with ramps (not stairs) and carts are provided. Beach access was easy and the wide beach was great for walking.

Great family get away!

The condo was lovely and the kitchen had everything you need to make meals - the whole condo was well stocked including enough towels and cozy blankets to wrap up in. The views were magnificent and the whole family enjoyed walking the beach and looking for sand dollars. The location is close to both Santa Cruz and Monterey/Carmel. Would definitely recommend!

Pictures don't do justice!

Had a waondeful staycation at your condo! Pictures dont do justice, you have to see it for yourself and the views are breathtaking. Weve stayed at several, condos, townhouses and houses at pajaro dunes but this one has to be at top. For someone who does all the packing, there were so many extras provided which were all much appreciated (spices, dish soap, bar soaps, all supplies needed to cook a njce dinner, ziplock bags, foil and saran wrap and more). Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo! Will be back!

Amazing!

We have stayed at several VRBO properties, and this condo is one of the top 2 on our list. A beautiful location along the ocean and within close proximity to Carmel/Monterey and Santa Cruz. We could not have been happier with the privacy, cleanliness and location of this condo. The condo is decorated with an attention to detail and the kitchen is fully stocked with every possible amenity. The owner if responsive and checking in and out was easy. It was the perfect place to ring in the new year! If you are looking for a peaceful place to stay and enjoy taking walks on the beach, this is your spot!

Pajaro Dunes Gem

Pajaro Dunes has become my quick getaway spot to come relax and recharge. This was my first time staying in the condos and I’ll definitely go back to this unit. The view was beautiful and it was the perfect spot to hang and recharge with some friends. My only feedback would be to have a comfier couch. I realize this is an odd review point, but we literally come to veg, watch movies, and eat, with a view. We booked last minute and the host responded within minutes and we received all of the necessary info to check in and access the property. I will definitely be back to this lovely spot!

Surf and Seabirds

A tranquil and picturesque location, with a view of Monterey bay and the surf crashing on the beach. A lot of pelicans. The condominium was comfortable, and its decor created a warm and inviting atmosphere, like somebody’s home rather than the bland feeling of a hotel room we have had in other rentals. Hard place to leave!

This is a home that offers many personal touches. Everything in the home has been thoughtfully arranged and appointed. We enjoyed the easy beach access and felt as though we were the only people on the beach most of the time! This complex is quiet and very relaxing. We would definitely stay here again if given the opportunity!

Beautiful Location and Peaceful Stay

This condo has a fantastic view of the ocean and easy access to the beach. I stayed here to take a few days away to contemplate a transition and make plans. It was the perfect space to do that. Because I was staying there alone, I wanted a safe space. This is a gated community about a mile long. There is plenty of space for long walks on sidewalks or on the beach. The sunsets are magnificent. Tennis and Pickleball courts provide enough recreational space for those passionate about that. It is only 10 minutes from a grocery store in an agricultural area of CA. Highly recommend!

Wonderful wedding weekend

My fiance (and now hubby) and i stayed at this beautiful and spacious condo during our wedding weekend! We sipped coffee in front of the breathtaking view and watched dolphins jump in the surf! Absolutely magical and we can’t recommend it enough!

Perfect Ocean getaway!

This is a lovely well maintained unit. Pride of ownership throughout for sure and the little touches everywhere show they really want guests to have the best experience. The views and sound of the ocean are spectacular! It takes 200 steps to be on the beach:) I am scent sensitive and did have to air out the unit from the cleaner used.That was the only minor issue. Which is really a non issue after windows open for a little while. The host was extremely easy to communicate with. Bring a warm blanket if you want to maximize out on the deck :).Truly a little slice of heaven.

The most complete condo at Pajaro

I've stayed at Sandy's unit a half dozen times in the past year. This is the best unit I've rented at Pajaro in my 25 years renting there. The owner is amazing, the unit location is perfectly situated near the beach, and the unit has every possible amenity you might need. To those who like to cook, as I do, you will find every culinary tool and spice you need -- and then some. Great shopping up the street in Watsonville, too. Guys, bring a light action rod/reel combo and tie up a carolina rig .5 to 2oz weight with a pack of Berkley 2 inch Camo Sandworms and hit the beach an hour before and after high tide for great surf perch fishing. Golfers -- play the best value ($80.00) in golf at Pacific Grove, where the back nine runs along 17 Mile Drive! This unit feels very remote, yet you are only 20 minutes away from Santa Cruz to the north & 30 minutes away from Monterey to the south. Truly, this unit has something for everyone. Enjoy, Ken

Incredible view, impeccable interior appointments.

Family has been visiting Pajaro Dunes since the early 70's. Having stayed with large groups in the largest homes to small groups in condos/townhomes. Always a joy.

Amazing experience!!

We having been going down to Pajaro Dunes resort for over 4yrs now and stayed at the different condos . Sandra’s was by far the best !! It was almost a private access to beach only for pelican point residents . The house was well kept with super clean . We usually cook often and the kitchen was well stocked and had high quality cookware and utensils. The beds were comfy , Sandra had beach locker that had all the essentials ( beach chairs , sand toys) so we had few things to carry each day . It was perfect !! We will definitely return here 😃 If there is one thing for feedback it is for the resort to accommodate adding EV parking spots near the buildings. When we asked , they said there were some behind the fire station , which we couldn’t locate and it was a long walk also from pelican point condos .

My husband and I grew up in San Jose and frequently spent time in the Santa Cruz beach area. We moved to Grass Valley and raised our family in the country but found ourselves renting vacation homes at various beach areas in California a few times a year.

We fell in love with Pajaro Dunes because of its location situated right on the beach - not down a rugged cliff, and the warm weather of the area pretty much year-round. The best part about it is: It's not crowded!
It is surrounded by ocean on the one side and acres of beautiful farmland on the other. We are just physically steps from the sand with unsurpassed views of the Pacific Ocean, overlooking Monterey Bay and Santa Cruz.

Pajaro Dunes is truly a natural paradise of tranquility. We love watching the wildlife in their natural habitat such as pelicans, various sea birds, sea otters, dolphins, California gray whales/humpbacks/killer whales migrating to Alaska or Mexico. Every time we visit our condo we spot whales in the bay and identify a new seabird or a native blooming plant. We love taking advantage of the areas fresh caught seafood and the freshly picked fruits and vegetables.
We think Pajaro Dunes is simply magical!
