Im ersten Stock befinden sich ein Wohnzimmer mit einem realistischen Kamin, ein Esszimmer mit Platz für bis zu 8 Erwachsene sowie ein Hochstuhl, eine offene Küche, eine Vorratskammer, ein Schlafzimmer mit einem Queensize-Bett und ein Wäscheschrank und ein Familienzimmer mit einem Queen-Schlafsofa. Im Obergeschoss finden Sie ein Schlafzimmer mit einem Queensize-Bett, eine kleine Kinderecke mit Kinderbett und Schaukelstuhl und ein weiteres Schlafzimmer mit einem Queensize-Bett. Connecting with College Friends in a Cozy Home

We were five college friends from four states getting together for a weekend to catch up and make new memories. The location was great where we were close to towns but had plenty of privacy. A bummer we couldn't use the outside fire pit because of a burn ban but the owners appropriately let us know ahead of time. Great space for everyone with clear directions on cleaning/labels placed around the house. Our only feedback was they requested towels be washed/dried before we left and because we were leaving early in the morning, we washed/dried the towels the night before and some people had to adjust their showering/morning routine because of it. Truly a lovely home that was cozy, comfortable and accessible to all door county has to offer.

Love the large yard

We enjoyed our stay here. It is quiet and peaceful. Our grandson loved playing in the yard. Our only concern was before booking this house, we specifically asked if the linens and towels were washed in hypoallergenic detergents and were told yes. We found Tide detergent above the washer and dryer. Please consider some of your guests may have skin sensitivities.

Wonderful Stay

This is a great location for a family. The home is clean, quiet and comfortable. I was here with my adult daughters and their partners to celebrate the life of my mother. Fall getaway

My son and I had a wonderful stay at the end of October! Despite the rainy days, we found plenty of board games to keep us busy and then explored the area once the weather improved. This property was the absolute cleanest rental we have ever seen! We found everything we needed, and it made our stay so relaxing. Such a cute house, and my son enjoyed checking on the goats next door. The beach just down the road as well as Newport State Park were so convenient and beautiful places to visit. Kick Ash Coffee was a fun find in Ellison Bay, too. We experienced a fluke power outage, and the owner responded to my message SO quickly to help us get it resolved! They are fantastic!

Lovely family vacation

We had a great stay at this house. It’s definitely away from all the action of door co, so if you’re looking for a quiet, off the beaten path vacay, this house is for you. Initially, it felt like there were a lot of rules. There are notes around the house about various policies/rules. At first, it felt a bite stifling. But after chatting with Val and Dan, I can see that it is all because they care a lot about their guests having a great stay. And it ended up being really nice having all the light switches labeled! We loved the fire pit and my kids loved the space to run. My 8 year old literally ran back and forth between the house and the neighbors goats multiple times a day!

My husband and I met in Sister Bay in 1996. We married in 1999 and feel very blessed to live and raise our family in Door County.
Along with raising our family and taking care of this rental, we also own and operate Bay Battery & Towing, Inc.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

We purchased this quiet little house in 2002 and completely gutted and remodeled it over the span of the next 2 years.
We raised our 4 children in this house until purchasing my in-laws house in Sister Bay in 2011. After renting year round to a few different renters, in October of 2016 we decided to try renting the house out as a Vacation Rental By Owner.
Over that winter and spring, we repainted the interior and exterior and enjoyed hunting for bargains to completely furnish the house.
A few of our favorite things about this house include listening to nature with a cup of coffee on the covered front porch in the morning, enjoying stargazing in the dark night sky by the fire-pit at night and having individual thermostats to control the temperature in each of the rooms for those cooler evenings.
We hope that you will come and join us at our little slice of Ellison Bay heaven that we call Country Comfort in beautiful Door County, Wisconsin!

This house has hardwood floors throughout for those carpet suffering allergy haters. It is spray foam insulated for cooler summers and warmer winters. Each room has it's own thermostat so that everyone can find their own comfort level. There are more than enough outlets to plug all of your electronics into and all of our electrical is in conduit just like a commercial building would have. We have plenty of unobstructed views of the night sky from our one and a half acre lot. Close to Highway 42, Europe Lake and Newport State Park & beach.
