Die Catharine Cottages bieten den perfekten Rückzugsort: vier entzückende und komfortable Cottages, von denen jedes einen herrlichen Blick auf den Catharine Creek bietet. Die Cottages befinden sich in der Nähe des Watkins Glen State Park, des Seneca Lake Wine Trail und des Coring Museum of Glass.
Jedes Cottage bietet Platz für 2 bis 4 Personen und verfügt über ein eigenes Bad, einen kleinen Kühlschrank, eine Mikrowelle, eine Kaffeemaschine, eine Klimaanlage / Heizung und gelieferte Bettwäsche. Draußen befindet sich eine überdachte Veranda mit Schaukelstühlen, einer Feuerstelle, einem Holzkohlegrill und einem Picknicktisch. Der Bach bietet Ruhe und Entspannung für Erwachsene und endlosen Spaß für Kinder und Hunde. Hunde sind mit vorheriger Genehmigung willkommen.

Totally Adorable

The cabin was totally adorable. My husband and I celebrated our 25th Anniversary in Watkins Glen. We loved sittting on the porch drinking our coffee in the morning, watching all the little squirrels save up for winter. The food basket was great, we enjoyed it all. Looking forward to coming back!!

Cottage

These cottages are super clean and the host has thought of everything to make you feel welcome. Cheese and cherries in the fridge and muffins and jam on the table. The only thing that could be added would be a toaster or toaster oven. Would highly recommend a stay here!!!

Cozy and well appointed cabins

Stayed here with my dog while visiting the area and the hostess made us both feel very welcome. This area is peaceful and quiet while close to many amenities and places of interest. The cabins have everything you need for a comfortable stay including fire pits, grills, picnic tables, easy access to the creek, keurig coffee makers and mini fridges. I highly recommend Catherine Cabins!

Noisy!

Unfortunately this site is on a busy highway with 24/7 big trucks rolling by. Not exactly what I consider relaxing by a creek with a campfire or a good night sleep. To make matters worse, the mattress is only a double, which is incredibly cramped when compared to the king size we’re used to. I have to conclude that those who left great reviews are either deaf or have very low standards, most likely both. Good luck!

Wonderful stay!

This 2 day getaway was perfect! The cabin is spotless and extremely comfortable complete with a welcome basket and cheese platter! Location was perfect close to Watkins glen and Lake Seneca wine trail. Best of all owner Ilona was extremely gracious and available if needed. My dog Graycie and her dog Gracie made fast friends. We are hoping to rent all 4 cabins next year for a family trip.

Relaxing

Came to Montour to see the water falls and walk Watkins Glen trails. Stayed two nights and loved the convenience and quiet of Catherine’s Cabins. Also had a little time in the evening to catch some trout in the creek

Peaceful and Beautiful Cabin

Cabin location was perfect and peaceful. We were in Cabin 4. The cabin was very clean and there was a lovely welcome basket that included muffins, jam, trail mix and other snacks and brochures. There was a Keurig Coffee Pot that came with K-Cups and creamers. Also as an added surprise there was grapes and local cheese in the fridge. The cabin also had a microwave. Check in was easy and we even received a call later in the evening to make sure everything was good!! The grounds were beautiful and there was a large hammock, horse shoes, hula hoops, frisbees and balls to play with. All of the cabins have a view of a little stream out front. There is a very nice fire pit and a charcoal grill. They have wood already placed by the pit and more for purchase and also have charcoal to purchase. They also have all the utensils and tools you will need to grill and make smores!! The cabin is very close to Watkins Glen about 3 miles. About a 35 minute drive to Ithaca.There is a gas station across the street as well. We would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful and close to everything!

We had a great time in our cozy cabin overlooking the stream. The nights were peaceful by the fire and we enjoyed the yummy basket of goodies provided by the host. We were greeted by the owner upon arrival and she was very helpful in locating anything we might need during our stay. It’s a great location, within minutes of downtown Watkins Glen, yet like it’s own little oasis. We look forward to returning soon!

Perfect Getaway Cottage

My wife and I were looking for something simple and private for our 15th Anniversary and we found it here. The hosts were incredibly generous and even provided breakfast foods and a lot of guides to the area (which we were not expecting). The location and pricing were great. We would absolutely stay here again!

Couldn’t have been happier with this cozy little cabin and location!

My mother and I stayed while attending the 2022 Finger Lakes Wine Festival, and what an absolute gem these cabins are! Worth every penny for the nice little slice of relaxation we had. Beds were extremely comfy, cabin was immaculate. The welcome basket and cheese plate was to die for. Instructions were perfectly clear and left no questions to be asked. The air conditioning in the cabin was a huge bonus. I’ll be dreaming of rocking on the rocking chair on the porch staring into the creek with a cup of coffee for days! Overall so happy with this stay. Love how dog friendly the grounds are too. Owner is very friendly and very available if anything is needed. We will be telling all our friends and will definitely try to get back!

Everything we needed and more!

We over-packed for what we thought was a basically a free-standing hotel room with front porch and fire pit. True, the kitchen consists of a tiny refrigerator and microwave. There's also a charcoal grill for which Ilona provides charcoal and grilling tools and aluminum foil (all of which my boyscout husband needlessly packed). She even has firewood available. She has oatmeal, muffins, fruit, and cookies in a basket along with coffee and tea for the Keureg. When we first pulled in off the main drag, we wondered what are we in for? But once you see the 4 cabins on the creek, you know it'll be good! We'll definitely be back.

Perfect little cabin!

We loved our stay! The location is perfect - close to everything AND right on the creek. It was so peaceful to have my coffee each morning on the porch. We got the nicest welcome basket I’ve ever received. The homeowner was close at hand if needed and very sweet, but also gave us plenty of privacy. The full-sized bed was a bit of a challenge since we are used to king-sized. But other than that, it was perfect!
