Welcome to our beautifully restored farmhouse nestled near the Mississippi on the Iowa/Illinois border in the heart of Coal Valley, IL. Thoughtfully renovated from top to bottom, this cozy retreat offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, ideal for family vacations, weekend escapes, or small group gatherings.
NOTE: One thing to remember: there's an active railway just across the street. You may hear train horns from time to time—it’s a familiar sound around here. Most guests find it becomes part of the charm and even a little soothing once you settle in.
SLEEPS UP TO 8 COMFORTABLY:
Primary Suite: King-size bed with private en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and built-in closets with drawers and hangers for hanging space.
Second Bedroom: Queen-size bed, perfect for couples or solo guests. Includes built-in closet with drawers and hangers for hanging space.
Third Bedroom: Two twin daybeds with pull-out trundles—sleeps 4 total, great for kids or extra guests. This room shares a convenient Jack-and-Jill bathroom with the queen bedroom.
MAIN LEVEL AMENITIES:
A bright and spacious kitchen fully equipped with cookware, dishes, utensils, and modern appliances, including a Vita-Mix blender, a gas range with pot-filler, a dishwasher, a microwave, a toaster, a mixer, mixing bowls, and bakeware.
Full bathroom with a walk-in shower connected to the Laundry room with washer, dryer, detergents, and cleaning supplies.
Dining options include a high-top table for 6 overlooking the front porch and yard, plus a second table that expands to seat 4–10 guests.
A cozy living room offers a great spot to unwind and connect.
Extras Included: All linens, towels, shampoo, soap, garbage bags, and essential supplies are stocked for your stay. Each bedroom is equipped with its own TV and high-speed fiber optic Wi-Fi.

A 3,024 sq. ft. shed houses a basketball hoop and a pickleball net. Fully lit at night.
Brand new 2-car heated garage also used as a game room. Features include ping pong, darts, and a classic ring toss game.

RING CAMERAS - There are no cameras inside the house. There is a doorbell ring camera at the front door. There is a motion sensor camera on the NW corner of the roof facing the front yard. The last camera is on the SE corner of the garage facing the patio and backyard.
