Diese Vermietung ist ein 3 Schlafzimmer, 2 Badezimmer Haus mit einer Terrasse, um etwas frische Inselluft zu genießen. Der Wohnraum befindet sich in der obersten Etage mit einem begehbaren Keller. Das Hauptschlafzimmer ist geräumig und verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett und ein eigenes Badezimmer in voller Größe. Die anderen beiden Zimmer sind mit großen Betten ausgestattet. Wenn Sie mehr als 6 Gäste haben, öffnet sich die bequeme Couch zu einem Queen-Size-Bett, um zwei weitere Personen unterzubringen. Handtücher, Strand und Bad und Bettwäsche sind vorhanden. Wir haben ein paar Boogie-Boards und einen Kühler auf Rädern, wenn Sie einen Tag am Strand verbringen möchten. Es gibt auch vier Liegestühle, die Sie zum 3,2 km entfernten Strand von Philbin, zum Strand von Moshup oder zum Strand von Lobsterville bringen können. Wenn Sie kein Auto haben, brauchen Sie sich keine Sorgen zu machen. Nehmen Sie am Ende des Moshup Trail einen Bus und steigen Sie am anderen Ende des Moshup Trail beim Leuchtturm aus. Sie können dann zu Fuß zum Philbin Beach (0,8 Meilen) oder einfach zum Moshup Beach gehen . Sie können auch einen Bus nach Oak Bluffs oder Menemsha nehmen, wo es auch Strände gibt, aus denen Sie wählen können. Da diese Ferienunterkunft in Aquinnah liegt, können Sie Tag und Nacht Ruhe und Frieden finden. Während Ihres Aufenthalts möchten Sie vielleicht das Gay Head Light House besuchen und eine Tour unternehmen oder ein Mittagessen einnehmen und an den Klippen ein Souvenir kaufen. Vergessen Sie nicht, auch das Aquinnah Cultural Center zu besuchen. Achten Sie darauf, auch an den umliegenden Stränden einen Sonnenuntergang zu fangen. Wonderful getaway

It was a perfect secluded getaway with access to a gorgeous beach. The house was clean and stocked with all the necessary items needed for our long weekend stay. The owners were prompt to reply to any questions our group Had. Look forward to future stays.

Beautiful Property

My family had an incredible time staying at this house. My two kids (ages 3 and 1.5) loved looking for frogs in the pond and my dog loved running around the large yard. During the day, we went to the beach right down the road and at night, we went out to dinner in a nearby town or ate at home and made s’mores by the fire. I highly recommend if you want to have a perfect vacation.

The most wonderful few days

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Silva property. It was the perfect R&R we all needed. The backyard is private yet close to the beach, lighthouse, and fun things to do in chilmark. It was also perfect for our black lab who enjoyed playing fetch on the lawn and relaxing by the hammock. We can’t wait to come back next summer!

So Peaceful!

We’ve been coming every summer to stay on the vineyard for years, and this was our fav rental. Plenty of space for the family, clean, had everything we needed. The yard was soo peaceful and beautifully manicured, and the little pond in the yard was fun to check out some frogs, turtles, & dragonflies. I would definitely recommend!

Up island treasure

Our family of 4 stayed at the cozy getaway and it was everything we wanted and more! Great amenities like the fire pit and outdoor shower. Very comfortable inside space and all the kitchen we needed for a few home cooked meals. The Silva’s were excellent and responsive hosts. I’d give it more than 5 stars if able!

a wonderful family stop off & completely accurate to a tee descriptions of available add ins.. If you are looking for off thhe beaten path this is your place & wonderfully close to a dog/family friendly Lobsterville beach (pass included) the less than desirable surprise were the ticks...Island is rife w Lonestar ticks, so beware.

A perfect retreat in Aquinnah

Great spot to get away

We enjoyed all that the area had to offer. The house is set in a lovely wooded area with a pond. We really enjoyed being outside and visiting the nearby beaches and hiking trails. We also enjoyed having coffee on the deck and observing the various wildlife. Would highly recommend this property if you enjoy outdoor adventures.

Great stay

My husband, myself, and our dog Gus really enjoyed our stay. The house and property was a quiet little oasis. The location was perfect for a relaxing vacation. We loved playing fetch in the yard with Gus, bike rides to the beach down the road, and relaxing at lobsterville beach. Kelly was quick to respond to all our needs and she even let us check in early. We cannot wait to come back!

Private, quiet, beautiful location

This house was a great place for my cousin and myself to stay while connecting with on-Island family over Christmas. I brought my dog, and she loved playing in the yard. A second story deck was the perfect place for morning coffee. We had a little trouble figuring out how to work the password for the Amazon Firestick, but other than that - excellent.

Peaceful and relaxing!

We had an amazing time in Aquinnah! House was clean, very comfortable, and well equipped. We grilled, had bonfires, star gazed, and went to glorious Philbin beach. Lots of wildlife and away from the hustle/traffic of towns. We have stayed several places on the island and this is my favorite. Owners were very prompt when we had a few minor questions. Our dog was also happy.

First time in Aquinnah!

Never stayed up island and it was superb! We loved the property and it’s location. Friends stayed 1.3 miles away on the beach which was convenient for parking and walking to their private beach. I could not have asked for anything better.

Wonderful Trip! Can’t wait to go back!

The Silva House is terrific! We had a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful, everything was immaculate and the setting is perfect. We also appreciate the time the Silva’s took to get us a beach permit for Philbin Beach. It made a big difference. I have traveled to Martha’s Vineyard countless times over the decades but this may have been the best trip ever thanks to the Silva House.

Cozy getaway near Philbin Beach

Gorgeous perfect house, huge garden, large kitchen with great stove and fridge, open plan with sitting area, excellent design, 3 double bedrooms, quiet rural location near Wampanoag land. No connection for T mobile, which was a problem for us, but internet connection was good. Worth stocking up with food and drink at a large supermarket when you arrive, as it is a long drive to the shops, unless you go to Grey Barn, where the much coveted raw (unpasteurised) milk and popular pastries sell out fast. Other local stores are a little expensive, though Alleys is worth a visit.

Well-stocked house, nice yard and great location

Couldn't ask for better communication than we had with this owner. And they have everything you need in the kitchen, plus a great grill and big picnic table in the yard, and beach chairs, sand toys and boogie boards in the basement. We LOVED the beaches at the West end of the island where this house is located. They're only accessible by resident permit and parking permit. But the owner gave us their permits. That covered us except for parking for one beach (Philbin). The bad news on that is the town requires you to pay $50 for parking for that one beach. But the good news is it's valid for the length of your stay. Unfortunately, all the sit-down restaurants on the West end seem to have closed right on Labor Day, which is when we arrived. But there were still a few good take-out places open nearby. Plus there are plenty of good restaurants 30-40 min. away in the towns of Oak Bluffs, Vineyard Haven, and Edgartown. Bottom line -- we plan to stay here again.

Amazing Home in Aquinnah

My family just returned from a fabulous trip to Aquinnah for the 4th of the July and this property was absolutely fantastic! We quickly fell in love with the home and property as soon as we got there. Honestly, the pictures of the listing did not do it justice. The rooms are much bigger than they look in the pictures. Also, each room has very large closets which made it easy to store our luggage. The house was extremely clean and they had lots of supplies too. We thoroughly enjoyed spending our nights by the fire pit or out on the covered porch. The kids had a blast looking for frogs in the pond or running around the secluded yard. The property really is a perfect little oasis for families with young kids. We like staying on this side of the island so we can quickly get to Menemsha for sunsets even though we spend most of our days out on Chappy. We had never actually stayed in Aquinnah before and I have to say it is my new favorite. Doing the drive every day back and forth to the house was just so beautiful! On top of how fabulous the house was, the owners were really amazing too. They were very responsive and extremely helpful to answer any of my questions and even allowed us an early check in the day we arrived. We appreciate them opening their home to us and we can’t wait to come back another time. Just be careful of the ticks in the yard and make sure to check yourself for them daily. Pretty much all of us had them several times. Some were as tiny as a freckle.

We are the Silva family from Taunton, MA. We have two children and a dog. Since 2013, my husband had been working in Martha's Vineyard, and he heard about the property for sale in Aquinnah. Of course, we fell in love with the land right away. That is when we decided to build a home there, and with a few hiccups along the way, we managed to finish our dream house on the island.
