Location is superb, close to stores, ferries, buses golf courses and across the street from the beach. Lots of flowers and fruit trees, another one of my new hobbies.
If your a rose affictionado, read up on the finding of the famous Belfield Rose in 1953 right here on the property. It was found by Mr. Richard Thomson, Chairman of the Old Rose Committee of the American Rose Society . Its positive identification by Richard was completed in 1956, The R. chinensis semperflorens or “Slater’s Crimson China”, better know to Bermudians and now around the world as the “Belfield” rose. http://rosesinbermuda.com/?page_id=31
