Extremely comfortable home away from home - yours for a Colorado getaway!
Tucked at the base of the Rocky Mountains in a beautiful neighborhood, our 5-bed, 3.5 bath home will welcome you with a quiet ambiance. Ideally located 15 minutes to downtown, 10 minutes to Garden of the Gods, 8 minutes to Costco, Trader Joe's and restaurants, and just minutes to the Air Force Academy. Situated at the base of Blodgett Peak with hoodoo rock formations and hiking out the front door.
Our home is a beautiful two-story with basement, with lots of living spaces to hang out in and bedrooms to retreat to. The home has fresh paint inside and out, new carpet throughout, new bathroom flooring, new trim and doors to give it a rustic look, new lighting and ceiling fans, and a new kitchen.
The main level has as its central hub an eat-in kitchen that opens to a family room with gas fireplace, vaulted ceiling and walk-out to the back deck; a separate dining room; an office; a living room; a laundry room and powder room.
Upstairs is the master bedroom with window seat, vaulted ceiling and master bath with dual sinks and a separate tub; an overlook to the family room; three more bedrooms and a full bath.
The basement has a spacious rec room with a comfortable leather sectional sofa and game table, a guest bedroom with a queen-size sleigh bed, and a full bath.
Outside in the rear is a large deck with built-in seating, a four-seat dining table and other places to relax; and the front porch is covered with additional seating to enjoy the quiet neighborhood. No pets allowed but please enjoy the deer and other wildlife in the yard!

PLEASE NOTE:
Our home does not include cable television. There is a TV in both the basement rec room and in the main level family room as well as a Bose stereo to stream music or movie sound through. Both TVs are available for your streaming pleasure once connected to your personal laptop and logged into your favorite way to watch.
The kitchen is a custom designed kitchen with a chef grade six burner stove. There is not a microwave oven but the two ovens plus warming drawer provide numerous heating options.
Additionally, guests will not have access to the bedroom closets - there are dressers available in each room for clothing storage. The garage and two storage spaces in the basement are also locked as owner storage.
Our home will provide all the conveniences you need such as linens and towels, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry with ironing board and iron, and cooking essentials such as oils and spices. We hope that you will enjoy a relaxing time cooking, reading, playing games and putting puzzles together, as we have many books and games available for your use.
Our home should feel as though you are visiting good friends or family whose motto is "Our home is your home."
This is our personal home, and we are pleased to offer it as a place to stay because we love it and our neighborhood and we know that you will love it too. Please understand that we also love our neighbors, and treat our home and neighborhood as you would your own. Our HOA has to give us special approval to be able to offer our home to stay in, so you will be asked to provide your name, a phone number and license plate numbers of cars you will be arriving in. Please know that we do not care about this information personally, but we cannot offer our home to be rented without providing that information back to the HOA ahead of time. Also, we have our own form that we require to be signed at the time of booking that is just our way of making sure you know that this is our home that we live in and just a few things we would like you to be aware of.
