The Lumberjill Lodge is an 18 Room Boutique Motel in Balsam Lake, WI. Room 11 or 12 is great for couples and solo travelers coming to town to enjoy the lake and town.

Our motel came to us with lots of different flooring. These two room options are one of a kind here at the Lumberjill Lodge. The shower tiles + patterns are also very assorted throughout all of our rooms. We consider these quirks part of the charm!

Please note our rooms are being slowly changed (flooring, wallpaper and decor), so things might just look different when you arrive, but all listed amenities and things available in each room will stay the same!

Guests will have access to the room they book and the picnic tables + outdoor space at the side of Building 2.

I will not be on site, guests will be able to get ahold of me through the app.

PARKING: If your group is bringing more than one vehicle we ask that you park in front of the room behind one another. If you are in Building 1 or 2, you will park near the front of your room. If you are in Building 3, you can park to the right of Building 2 near the steps going up OR in front of the lower rooms at Building 3 and you would walk up both sets of steps.

PETS: Please note we only allow pets in 2 rooms at this time. If you want to book something with a pet, please let us know. We limit to 1 pet under 50# and have a few rules to agree to before allowing a pet stay.

1- Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM. Please be mindful of other guests and keep noise to a minimum during these hours.
2- No Smoking or Drugs: Smoking, vaping, or drug use is not permitted inside the rooms or on the property. A $175+ fee will be charged for smell remediation if smoking or vaping occurs in the room.
3- Pets: Pets are not allowed unless explicitly permitted. Service animals are always permitted. For approved pets, guests must clean up after them. Additional fees may apply for any damages caused.
4- Guest Count: All guests, including children and infants, must be listed on the reservation. The total guest count must match the booking.
5- Late Check-Out: Check-out time is at 11 AM. Unauthorized late check-outs will incur a $50 fee. If you'd like to extend your stay, please contact us in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
6- Toilets: Please flush only toilet paper. Do not flush wipes, even if labeled “flushable,” or other non-disposable items to prevent plumbing issues.
7- Parties and Events: Parties, events, or large gatherings are not permitted. Cleaning fees starting at $150 will apply if additional cleaning is required due to excessive mess or parties.
8- Exterior Cameras: For your safety and ours, security cameras are in use on the exterior of the property. Do not tamper with or disable them.
9- Damages and Missing Items: Please report any damages or missing items during your stay. Additional charges may apply for unreported issues found after check-out.
10- Trash: Dispose of all trash in the designated bins. Do not leave trash outside your room to avoid attracting pests.
11- Travel Insurance: We recommend travel insurance for unexpected events. Refunds cannot be provided due to inclement weather or other disruptions beyond our control.
12- No Drugs or Illegal Activities: Any illegal activity will result in immediate removal from the property without a refund.
13- Respect for Property: Please leave the room in good condition. Excessive cleaning or damages may result in additional fees.
14- Maintenance: Light maintenance may occur during your stay. If service is required, we will provide advance notice whenever possible.
