Beautiful property but not what we were expecting.
The house was beautifully remodeled and furnished. Unfortunately it wasn’t described accurately. It is two separate 3 bedroom sides of one duplex without any adjoining doors. You have to walk out the door on one side, walk in front of the rental and to the opposite side of the building to get to the other 3 bedrooms. Definitely not the safest neighborhood. There were a lot of homeless people and one night there were gunshots and sirens nearby. The duplex is right across the street from a brightly lit trucking yard. The window coverings were non existent on many windows and very sheer on the other windows so it was bright all night inside the 2 front bedrooms. Some of the bedroom and bathroom windows have no covering so that left us feeling less than private. The rental was missing a lot of basic things like kitchen/bathroom trash cans, trash bags, hangers, & coffee for the keurig. All the hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, & body wash bottles were completely empty. There was no gym which was in the description. We had an issue with the water when we first arrived and the host responded very quickly and took care of it. Later in our stay when I called and messaged about the AC and WiFi not working I didn’t receive a response for quite a while and the issues weren’t resolved before the end of our stay. Thankfully the beds and bedding were very comfortable. Two of the bedrooms had king beds which also wasn’t in the description so that was a welcome surprise.
