Amazing stay

We had an amazing stay at the Punahele Penthouse. The view and ocean sounds from the lanai were incredible. The condo is in a perfect location to explore Kona and the island. The condo is stocked with everything you would ever need, including beach gear. The condo is cared for by the owners, we felt so welcome it was like we were renting from family. Thank you again, Diane and Brett, we can’t wait to return.

Amazing views from this condo! We loved sitting on the balcony overlooking the water and just listening to the waves. The spotting scope was great for observing all the boat/swimmer traffic in the bay. Thouroughly enjoyed out stay.

Amazing trip

I was very lucky to have found this condo! My mom lived in Kona for 30 years and we come back to visit. Two years ago we stayed at another condo which was lovely, but small. We took a chance on something different and so glad we did. They thought of everything at this condo!! Anything we needed they had. Any question we had they got back right away. The location can’t be beat, in the middle of Alii. I recommend this property to everyone!!

Perfect Hawaiian Vacation

We had a great experience with the property. The location in Kona was perfect and had all of the amenities we needed for a perfect Hawaiian vacation. Although the 7th floor condo is overlooking Ali’i, we spent a great deal of time on the lanai (beautiful sunsets and great vantage point for canoe races) and it was very quiet. Highly recommend this property.

Best Spot in Kona!!!!

We were here for a family wedding. Punahele Penthouse was absolutely perfect for our first trip to Hawai’i from the peaceful early mornings on the mountain side lanai, coffee on the ocean side lanai! Listening to the waves is so relaxing! We saw the King Kamehameha parade from above! Absolutely beautiful!

Can’t Wait to Return

The unit is all that we had hoped for in terms of comfort, convenience and location. The kitchen has everything you need to enjoying relaxing meals on the beautiful lanai. We also enjoyed several meals out at fun places within walking distance. They also have beach chairs, snorkel equipment, coolers, beach towels available to borrow which we very much appreciated. Everything We Wanted and Beautiful

My family and I loved this condo! Everything from location to furnishings. It just does not get any better. The views from the lanai are stunning! Listening to the waves, seeing schools of yellow tangs and dolphins from the deck, to watching the beautiful sunsets was just amazing. Restaurants and stores are next to the building. The condo is very comfortable and well furnished with everything we needed. We hope to return soon!

This is definitely a five star rental-absolutely fabulous!

All appliances are high end, along with the cookware and utensils. Furniture and beds are extremely comfortable. The owners have paid great attention to details-too numerous to mention in a review, but you will notice! (Even down to the silverware drawer-impressive! Also, the over sized rainfall shower heads.) The large lanai has TWO ceiling fans and VERY comfortable chairs. (We saw whales everyday-lots of spinner dolphins, too.) We've stayed in 50+ Vrbo rentals and this one is the best, ever!

Fantastic stay!

Our family loved our second stay at this condo. The lanai is a great spot to enjoy your morning coffee or watching the sunset and everything between! The condo location is great for walking to restaurants. The condo is beautifully maintained and well stocked for a lovely time on the Big Island. We used Kona Style for two excursions Kealakekua Snorkel and Sail and Sunset and Manta Ray Snorkel. Both excursions were fantastic! One great aspect to Kona Style is that you can walk (15 min) from the condo to the boat since it departs from Kailua Bay. If you go to beach 69, we enjoyed malasadas from a food truck which are made to order. They are delicious! I highly recommend this condo for a trip to the Big Island. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
