We have taken great care to pay homage to the best of Hawaiian design with the perfect balance of modern appointments and tropical luxury. Featuring a warm color palette and a generous spatial arrangement, the common area of 304A is an unbeatable place to luxuriate during your stay.
After putting your bags down, you'll be drawn immediately to the star of the show: 304A's double-sized oceanfront lanai. As you step through the threshold, you'll be embraced by the Hawaiian sun's brilliance, the sounds of the waves lapping against the ocean cove below, the sweeping views of Poipu's beaches, and an incomparable sense of awe. With plenty of lanai furniture to relax in all day, it'll be hard to tear yourself away! This lanai has been the location for countless happy memories - you're sure to add to that collection.
When you're finally ready to step away from the lanai, you'll enter into the front and back bedrooms. The oceanfront bedroom is your first stop, where you'll have access to large windows that look out onto the ocean and jalousie openings if you'd like to fall asleep to the ocean lullaby every night. Gorgeous wood trim and details are the main features of the oceanfront bedroom, so you'll feel like Hawaiian Ali'i every time you open your eyes in the morning. Both bedrooms have their own split AC unit, so you'll be comfortable and cool no matter what time of the year you arrive. The ensuite full bathroom features a standing shower. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash is provided.
The back bedroom is perfect for either two more adult travel companions or two children. The twin bedrooms here can be kept separate for kids or conjoined to form a comfy king for adult travelers. This bedroom has its own AC unit as well. With a closet and adjacent full bathroom (with standing shower), the rest of your party will have everything they need to feel right at home.
A pack-and-play is also provided for guests who are bringing very young ones. There is a queen-sized air mattress available for parties of five as well. (The maximum occupancy for 304A is 5, with the fifth traveler utilizing the air mattress in the living room. 304A is not intended for parties of 6 or larger.)
The full kitchen is set up to host families who would like the option to cook meals of any size. This is a full-sized kitchen - no tiny kitchenette here! 304A is stocked with everything you need to cook as well: pots and pans, cookware, a full suite of dishes, cooking oils and spices, and silverware. A grocery shopping service is also available if you wish to have food delivered before your arrival.
When you book with Poipu Beach Condo, you're treated to top-of-the-line guest service. The president of the company will be personally handling your reservation and communicating with you directly. Upon booking, you'll receive a link to your digital guestbook. The guestbook is your portal to both information about the unit and to Kauai as a whole. The guestbook features dozens of hand-written recommendations for the best things to do while you're on island. (These are local best-of's and secrets so you can avoid the tourist traps!) Everything from where to pick up groceries to the best beaches and luaus on island are included here. When you're on island, check in is a breeze: just head directly to the unit when you arrive! Registration for a parking pass can be completed over the phone as well. During your stay, we'll check in to make sure everything is going as you hoped for. If there's anything that needs attention, it'll be dealt with right away.

1) "How far away is the nearest beach?" Brenneke's beach, Poipu beach, and Waioha'i beach are a short walk away from Poipu Shores. Just take the westward gate and take a 6-minute walk down the oceanfront road to hit the beach.
2) "Do I need to bring my own beach towels or beach gear?" Leave them at home! Beach towels are provided for you and your party. We also supply beach chairs and other items.
3) "Do I need a car while I'm on island?" Yes. The Poipu area has a plethora of restaurants and places to visit but you'll need a car to get all of them. Rideshare on Kauai is expensive and unreliable so we do not recommend expecting to rely on it.
4) "Is this condo appropriate for individuals with mobility issues?" Yes! The A building is fully ADA accessible and no stairs are required to reach your front door. An elevator services the A building as well.
5) "Is there parking at Poipu Shores?" Yes, parking is free and guaranteed for one car. Parking pass registration information is provided to you in the guestbook. For parties traveling with two cars, the second car must park off site. We recommend parking on nearby Nalo Road, as the road that Poipu Shores is not legal to park on at any time.
