Part of the Camp Hawthorne Cottages, Overlook offers a charming lakeside retreat, perched conveniently above the beach with stunning bay windows that provide beautiful views of the peaceful cove. A short staircase leads directly down to the beach, while a flat, grassy area in front of the cottage is ideal for picnics, BBQs, and relaxing in the fresh air. Inside, aged pine walls give the space a rustic, cozy feel, and the cottage received all-new mattresses and pillows in 2020, ensuring a comfortable stay. The 55" smart TV and fast Wi-Fi add modern conveniences, while the tranquil surroundings invite you to spend more time outdoors.

Guests will enjoy access to the communal sandy beach and grassy shore area, exclusive to the cottages. Lightly trafficked roads wind through the quiet neighborhood, perfect for peaceful walks. We ask all guests to respect the peaceful atmosphere of the community by avoiding loud music, parties, or late-night activities.

For added convenience, a shared laundry shed with complimentary equipment and extra household supplies is also available for guest use. Please note that this cottage does not have air conditioning or heating. In the fall, the docks are removed from the water, reducing the waterfront lounging space, but the expansive lawn remains available for guests to enjoy the scenic lakeside views.
