This probably the coolest Penthouse in Cali on Airbnb. It's brand-new and we thought of EVERYTHING in order to make it the perfect place for you to stay, whether traveling for work, with family or friends.
3 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, private jacuzzi, a big kitchen, Nespresso machine, washer / dryer, hot water, air conditioning, noise reducing windows, king size beds, parking, elevator, 24h front desk and 3 blocks from all the restaurants in Granada.
The Space:
'Hygge' is a Scandinavian concept that encompasses the feeling of quiet comfort, wellness, contentment, extreme coziness and comfortable conviviality. With that in mind, we have aimed to design a place that pleases the senses and makes your stay in Cali the absolute best possible. A home away from home.
Of all the vacation rentals we have built over the years in Cali, this is the most elaborate.
Allow us to explain all the juicy details of this unit...
This 2-story Penthouse occupies the entire 7th and 8th floor of the building, in total 237 m2 (2550 sq. ft).
The elevator has direct access into the apartment. There's an private internal staircase that you will have to climb to reach the 8th floor.
The 7th floor includes a living room, office space, guest bathroom and 2 giant bedrooms with direct access their own bathroom. There's also a tiny balcony to enjoy the view of the mountain with the 3 Crosses.
The 8th floor has a big spacious living / dining / kitchen area with a guest bathroom. The kitchen bar has an electric screen that opens up to the private jacuzzi terrace. The 3rd bedroom with private attached bedroom is next to the kitchen. See the floor plans in the pictures to better understand the layout. Everything is 100% private.
BEDROOMS
The three bedrooms all come with high-quality European king size mattresses, 180x200cm (79" x 71") and smooth bedsheets. Each bed is outfitted with 4 pillows for sleeping. Two soft ones and two firmer ones. All bedrooms have closets and direct access to a bathroom. They also have a full body mirror installed. A screen and blackout curtain has been installed in each bedroom as well to assure a good, dark night's sleep.
Each of the bedrooms has a 43" SmartTV and walk-in closet (on 7th floor) contains the apartment's safe deposit box for your valuables.
One of the bedrooms has a dedicated work station.
BATHROOMS
There are 3 full bathrooms and 2 half bathrooms. They come with towels, floor mats, toilet paper, and Loto del Sur premium shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. One of the bathrooms contains the apartments hair dryer, and make-up mirror.
There is unlimited hot water and the apartment has its own dedicated gas heater.
KITCHEN | DINING | LIVING AREA
This apartment comes with a fully stocked kitchen with all the appliances needed to prepare a meal. Pots, pans, silverware, plates, cups, glasses, utensils, blender, toaster, microwave, water jug with carbon filter, sponges, soaps, rugs, etc.
We even have 2 coffee makers - Nespresso and regular - depending on your personal preference. Both come with a complimentary starter kit :-)
The kitchen dining area has 6 six chairs and the bar has 7 high chairs.
Finally, the kitchen comes with quality salt, pepper, olive oil so you don't have to think about the basics.
The living room has a big couch, comfy chair and 55" SmartTV that connects to all your favorite streaming apps.
PRIVATE BALCONY & JACUZZI TERRACE
There are two options for enjoying the outdoors in this apartment: The small balcony on the 7th floor by the elevator and most importantly the amazing terrace on the 8th floor with the sun beds and jacuzzi. It's the perfect place to chill, socialize, and enjoy the amazing Cali climate.
COMFORT
The apartment comes with 4 air conditioners, one for each bedroom and one for office space on the 7th floor. Due to the open nature of the top floor, the kitchen area has 3 remote controlled ceiling fans instead of A/Cs.
We have outfitted this unit with the highest quality sound reducing windows available on the market (very rare in Cali) in order to ensure you a peaceful and enjoyable stay.
INTERNET & WORKING
An exclusive 300 mb fiber optic internet with Ubiquity Access Point for the best signal. You can also connect directly with ethernet cable to the router if need be.
We have a 300 mb back-up internet plan for the whole building with another utility company in event that the main plan should fail.
There office space comes with 2 comfortable chairs which brings the total dedicated work spaces to 3, including the desk in one of the bedrooms.
LAUNDRY
Next to the kitchen you will find a tower with washer and dryer at your disposal at no additional cost.

Once you rent it the whole place is yours.
You're welcome to have visitors over as long as maximum occupancy is not exceeded (6 persons) at any given time. We need IDs of any guest who spends the night. If they are just visiting then not needed.
The Neighborhood:
The 'Hygge' building is located in the Versalles neighborhood in northwestern Cali, only 3 blocks from the Granada entertainment district on Avenida 9 where some of the city's best restaurants and nightlife are located.
The benefit being that it's lot more quiet at night than if you're right in the middle of the action.
The area is flat and very easy to walk around making it an ideal location for anyone looking to explore Cali. The majestic palm trees that line the street are absolutely gorgeous.
Within walking distance you will find just about anything you need, including bakeries, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, pharmacies and some of the main attractions like Granada, the 'Bulevar del Rio (river boulevard), and Plaza Caicedo in downtown Cali.
Another one of our favorite areas is the colonial San Antonio and the gastronomic barrio El Peñon, located next to each other, they are an easy 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive away.
The city's most exclusive shopping center - Chipichape - is only a 5 minutes drive and is also filled with fancy boutiques, restaurants, coffee shops, ATMs, cinema and the likes.
The new hospital "Clinica de Occidente" is only 1 block away making it a great choice for medical tourists.
In conclusion, close to all the fun and easy access to the main points of interest in the city.
Getting Around:
During the day, I suggest walking wherever possible. Enjoy the warm, eternal summer climate. Get to know the city. Explore!
If you're going further, then there are more than 20.000 taxis in Cali and they are very affordable. Minimum fare starts at 4.000 pesos which is less than a dollar. If you don't speak Spanish then Uber, Cabify, Beat and Didi all operate here and are the better choice. Busses are plentiful but tend to get very crowded and there is no bus line that passes by the property.
At night, best to always use a taxi / Uber / Didi / Beat / Cabify.
We also have private drivers we can recommend for airport pickups and trips around the city as well.

Registration:
According to Colombian law, a photo ID must be presented for each person staying at the property. To complete this registration, we send a link where you can upload all the information mentioned above. A signed rental contract is also required before entering. You can complete it through the same link that is sent as soon as the reservation is confirmed.
Parking:
The Hygge building has underground parking with 6 spots for the entire building. Please let us know in advance if you are bringing a car so we can reserve a spot for you at no additional cost.
Housekeeping:
We offer a free brush-up of the apartment every 3 days. Please schedule with our team at least one day prior when needing the service.
Medical tourists:
Please inform If you are getting any medical procedure done while staying at our property. Damages to bedsheets and towels will be charged.

Interruption in utilities:
This is the tropics and utilities such as electricity, water supply, and internet can experience interruptions from time to time. These potential situations are completely out of our control and are not cause for any refund. Luckily the building has a back-up water tank and electric plant for emergencies.
