Vielleicht ist das, was Sie suchen: eine erschwingliche Ort für Ihre kleine Familie, um der Hitze zu entkommen und genießen Sie einen unberührten Bergsee, Herbst Wochenende einer ruhigen und schönen Paares, einen Platz zum fischen, schwimmen, zu erkunden. Sie haben uns gefunden!

Unser Ferienhaus ist nicht schick oder riesig. Es ist gemütlich, sauber und direkt am Lake Nantahala, eine der höchsten und saubersten Seen im Osten der USA Wir haben uns vor die Hütte Jahren gekauft als eine perfekte Flucht aus der Geschäftigkeit von Atlanta. Jetzt wollen wir es mit Ihnen teilen.

Wir haben keine Pool-Tische oder Whirlpools oder Wii-Konsole. Wir haben eine große private Anlegestelle, Bücher, Videos, und ein Ort, um einfach nur zu entspannen, ohne den üblichen Ablenkungen zu Hause. Schwimmen Sie aus unserem privaten Steg. (Bringen Sie Ihre Schnorchelausrüstung ... Ich sehe in der Regel Fische, als ich schnorcheln rund um unsere dock ... das Wasser ist kristallklar) Bringen Sie Ihr Boot (Rampe ist 2 Minuten entfernt) oder mieten Sie eins von Lakes End Marina (oder nutzen Sie unser Kanu) . Kids lieben unsere Dock, die vielen Bäche waten in, und Orte zu wandern und zu erkunden (wir praktisch durch die Nantahala National Forest umgeben). Eltern lieben die ruhige Lage, unsere Sammlung von Bücher und Filme, und die Tatsache, dass Sie Ihr Handy funktioniert hier nicht auf! Es gibt tolle Restaurants 20 Minuten mit dem Auto (oder mit dem Boot über das Wasser zu Lake End Grill), ein Super Walmart in Murphy (35 Minuten) für Lieferungen, Wanderwege rund um (der Appalachian Trail ist 20 Minuten entfernt), Wildwasser- Rafting in der Nähe, und viele Orte zu wandern. Wir sind nicht Disney World. Wir sind sehr zufrieden sein "all natural".

Great stay

We enjoyed our time at this little piece of paradise on the mountain lake. From sitting on the porch staring at the lake, taking a paddle out in the canoe, or grilling some dinner on the porch....relaxation was easy here and it was nice to get away from the hectic city life. We appreciate it Curt and hope to be back in the future! hectic life of the city

Great place to retreat to

Cottage is very cute and is the right size for a couple or maybe even two couples or a couple with small children. Absolutely loved the lake. It is so gorgeous. Yes, the steps down to the water are challenging. It’s the mountains. You have to accept that. Had a fantastic time swimming, paddle boarding, and relaxing by the water. Also, really enjoyed the porch on the back of the house, especially sitting out there when it was raining or storming. It was pretty dusty, but it’s a rustic cabin, not an Embassy suites.

Book now, and then a few more times!

We so thoroughly loved this cabin! We swam in the lake, paddled to an island and jumped from a rope swing, hiked nearby trails, and enjoyed wildlife on the property in the early morning (a mama deer and two babies, rabbits, and lots of birds and butterflies!). The bed was comfortable, the amenaties were lovely, and you couldnt beat the access to the lake. Overall, a fantastic stay and we only wish we could have stayed longer!

Time away from heat

The house was remodeled and the bed was very comfortable. The stairs to lake was quite overwhelming but great dock when you get there. Had all that we needed, the owner has great artist on display. Loved our stay.

Quiet getaway

A beautiful property on the mountain side. Perfect place for family of four and a dog. Enjoyed spending time on the porch, dock and lake. Curt made it easy to find places without using Wii fii. The nights were warm so needed fans and AC. The AC units were not cooling enough. Figuring out how to turnaround our large parked car was a challenge but cautiously learned. Overall a wonderful relaxing vacation!

We had a great stay at Grace Cottage. The owner, Curt gave us great directions, instructions for the house and suggestions for our trip. The home was comfortable for our family of four and two dogs. It had everything we needed for our long weekend and we would definitely come back. Thanks!

Great location, peaceful place.

Curt was great with communication, the rental was great. Very peaceful. The no cell service and wifi was awesome to just relax and enjoy the time. Curt provides alot of dvds to watch. The parking is a little tight. But not the end of the world. Had a nice dock to fish from and dock the boat we brought with us. Will be back again. Thanks curt!

First Family Lakeside Cabin Experience

Our family stay at the cabin was a breath of fresh air for the Thanksgiving holiday. A much needed break from the city. Even though the weather was cold, the cabin was warm and comfortable. Bonus of no wifi allowed us to reconnect as a family with dvd movie nights and exploring the area. We are thankful for this wonderful experience.

Quiet and relaxing!

It all that I needed. Great outdoor activities if you’re looking to fish,swim,kayak or canoe or just sit on the dock and enjoy the scenery. The cabin has an amazing back deck to enjoy a meal or just recharge after a day on the lake. Top it off with a fire situated in the trees half way between the lake and cabin.

Great mountain retreat

Amazing place to relax

We’ve stayed at Grace cottage twice now, once in the spring and once in the fall, and it’s always a wonderful place to relax. It’s private, clean and comfortable, and we cook all our meals there so we don’t even have to leave until time to go home. The lake is beautiful and not very busy, and the views of the surrounding mountains are amazing. We can’t wait to go back.

Quiet. We stayed during Christmas of 21. Quiet is an understatement. House was perfect size for us. Dogs were content. Back deck was perfect for enjoying quiet. No cell service. No internet. Only 3 channels on tv. This was a great way to relax. Make sure you use the crossover road to hayesville. Taking highway adds half an hour. Plus you get to see why this corner of nc is so magical. Tuni gap is a great place to start your hiking. Chunky Gal trail crosses the road so you can either take the trail or stay on gated forest service roads. Great echo across lake. Our redbone coonhound utilized this to his best efforts. Actually having people across the lake egg him on for more baying. Owners were attentive and welcoming. We will certainly be returning to this cabin as we can. This corner of North Carolina is a haul from Raleigh. But worth it. The valley leading into hayesville from Tipton over mountain was sublime.

No cell service-read description carefully

Owner was easy to work with. However, we somehow missed the info far down in the description that there is NO cell/WiFi service at all in the area or the cabin. Made getting around an unfamiliar area almost impossible. The one restaurant we went to for dinner was good but they don’t serve alcohol, it’s BYOB, but we didn’t know this because we couldn’t get info about anything due to no cell service. We cut our two night stay short and came home. Cabin could use a deep cleaning.

Perfect lakeside spot for quiet comfort, relaxation, and gorgeous views.

My husband and our two dogs stayed for a four nights. The overhanging porch overlooking the steep hill down to water w grill was nice. The inside was very clean and pleasant and well organized. The king size mattress was comfortable and the kitchen had all the stuff we needed for cooking. The steps down to water were well kept, still very steep and many of them so be prepared to get a cardio workout on the way up. The

Like staying at a friend's house

The cabin was beautiful, and we really enjoyed being on the lake. The hosts were so kind! They even called to check in when we got there, just like a friend would. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone who wants to get away.
